My sister Maryam is an eight-year-old girl. Before the war, she used to go to school and come back to her small home where our father was with us. She dreamed of growing up, learning, and becoming a doctor. But in November 2024, we lost our father in the war and we also lost our brother. Today, Maryam has no father, no home, and no food. She goes to sleep hungry, dreaming only of going back to her classroom and continuing her education like other children. Please help us, so her dream isn’t taken away like her childhood was 🙏🏻💔

Look at Maryam in these clips… her smile was real, her heart was light, and she lived her childhood like any other child.

But ever since the war began, and after her father was martyred, her world turned upside down.

Now, Maryam doesn’t know the taste of childhood — or even the taste of food. All she wishes for is a meal to ease her hunger, or a simple toy to bring her a little joy.

I’m not asking for her life to return to how it was only that she’s given some of what every child deserves.

Today, my sister Maryam missed her father...

Just like she does every single day since that final goodbye.

This photo was taken on the day she last saw her father and brother.

She didn’t know that her life was about to change forever.

That day took away her father, her brother and with them, her sense of safety, joy, and childhood.

Maryam is just a little girl who hasn’t seen anything beautiful in this life.

She lives with constant hunger.

Some days she doesn’t even get one full meal.

Her body lacks everything food, sweets, fruits, vegetables...

What wrong did she commit to deserve this life?

The simplest things every child deserves.

She didn’t choose war. She didn’t choose loss.

All she wants is to live like any other child: to eat, to play, to smile again.

She didn’t choose to go to sleep hungry or wake up afraid.

Maryam deserves to be saved.

She deserves food to fill her stomach, a bed to sleep in, and something anything that brings her joy again.
