•first page• A new, tiny (14x9cm) watercolour book. Inspired by a photo the beautiful Finch Linden posted on Intsagram. Hoping I can fill this little book with tiny things. Finding alternatives for working when I'm too ill to do anything else.

For The Postcard Show Vol. 3Â at Hot Art Wet City
Not too bad for the first sculpting I’ve done in something like 15 years. This is much bigger than I need it to be, but just to get an idea of where my skills are at these days and where I need to improve. [air dry clay]
A pile of Embraces. My buttons from Hot One Inch Action: a curated art-trading show at Hot Art Wet City.
Silly tiny fly landing on this painting while adding a UV varnish |: Extra free nature, included?
The third. Now some things to bring the series together.Â
Hello, watercolour creature.
Revenant, 12x12" Oil on Birch.Â
10 years ago today this album was released. I feel like my adulthood has slipped through my fingers sometimes. But, wow has this band’s music been a life blood for me. As the cliché goes… it has accompanied me through dark times and light times but most of all it will always count as some of the most inspiring music for me to work to. I’ve made some of my best art while listening to their soundscapes. Thank you, Explosions in The Sky for so perfectly embodying my imagination/consciousness with sounds.

Strength? Endurance? Stubbornness? Whatever it is I am glad I'm still able to push through this pain and sickness a little here and there.
Past season. I made it out for a very small walk for the first time since I was in hospital. Slowly starting to feel myself again. Even though it'll be several months of recovery I'm going to do my best to do 1 normal thing every day. Whether that's a bit of work or taking a walk it makes me feel less trapped <3 (at Kitsilano Public Pool)
Hospital sketches. Tonight I got home after being admitted to hospital on Monday evening. It's a long story but basically I had a Transient Ischemic Attack (mini stroke) and they discovered an aneurism and tear in one of the main arteries of my neck. I have some months of slow recovery ahead of me and I'm on stroke watch. I'm going to have to take it very easy which is going to be difficult because art is my life. Well, here's some sketches from my time in the hospital. Sketching when I'm able to really makes it easier to deal with scary news and terrible pain <3
"Fractional", a triptych I have up on the wall @aydengallery this month. I’ll post proper scans of these and the other pieces that are hung as part of the Feral Dreams show soon (: (at Ayden Gallery)
