This lil guy is Chanterelle!! He’s an integral part of my heart and soul and also dnd. My pc character (who will definitely appear on this blog at some point... I draw them too much haha) is a water genasi monk named Goby, designed off a shark theme, personality modeled after who else but slightly cooler me, and who is. //constantly high// 

*dw tho!!! their entire arc is about them getting to a better place so they don’t rely on substances to feel okay. it’s all very feelgood friendship healing through therapy and time and all that :)* Anyway, actually getting into Chanterelle, he’s an awakened mushroom that came about by a magical mishap involving shattering some VERY weird crystals over a fungus patch. He immediately imprinted on my character so OF COURSE I adopted him. A few sessions later and he’s now a level one druid and party baby. I couldn’t be prouder of my little mushroom boy <3 <3 <3

I’ve recently realized that I just. Really like Garfield?? I have no explanation, he’s a cute cat. Although the comics were never my favorite, they were a big part of my childhood, so maybe my love for Garf is just them ol’ nostalgia glasses haha

You know those virtual pet games like Neopets and Marapets?? I wanted to try my hand at making a lil creature you’d find in universes like that!

I randomly generated two animals and then two colors and brainstormed until I came up with our bouncy little friend Cheeko!! I’d love to see other people’s takes on a fake virtual pet using a method like mine, so please tag your stuff with #virtualpetchallenge so I can have a looksee!!
