Oooh, I like anything with chocolate, frosting, ice cream, and fruit! It gets bonus points if Ash made it!

Do you take care of any of the animals on the ranch?

Mommy lets me take care of the chickens, especially the really itty bitty ones but Ash always takes care of the big animals like the cows and sheep but don’t worry sometimes I sneak out in the middle of the night to brush them ~

Does Ash play house with you?

Yes, of course! He loves to play house, he gets to be the daddy and I’m the mommy and all the animals are our babies, it’s really fun! ❤

Do you ever play with the children in Konohana?

Sometimes, that Ying girl is very quiet but she’s fun to play with. And Rahi….Well, he’s kinda cute,  yeah? Hehe, don’t tell him, okay! 🎵

/Stares at the girl, before rolling her eyes to the side. Lets out a slight huff, before speaking her mind to the girl/ No, I don’t think so. If you think you;re going to die, you can go to the doctor and they can do tests on you. But, I’m sure you’ll be fine in awhile. If not, you could always cover it up with makeup~

If you live on a farm, you should know that cats shouldn’t be carried like that! Running with those animals is a lot different than running with a cat, sweetie! /Sarcastic:/ Yes, it is. Totally. /Rolls her eyes again, letting out a little giggle/ Kidding, I think you’l be fine.

/Listening to Cheryl talk, Minori just stares at her like ‘what is this? what is going on?’. Blinks, holding her ragdoll cat closer to her/ Well, I don’t think Lolita would want you to put some booties and a scarf on her. She’s too big for that…. /Pauses/ But Otis… /Trails off in her own thought for awhile, thinking to herself over what she just said out loud and what this whole thing was/

[At the mention of dying, Cheryl started to screech, softly at first but gradually louder and louder] eeeeEEEEEEK - oh wait did you say make up? My mom wont let me get any because I'm too little!!

Well, my awesome big brother usually takes care of the animals...And I sometimes take care of the chickens...I have a pet chicken too, her name is Pepper!! She's spicy like me  🎵

[Gasps at her response only to end with a pout] I really hope so!

[Jumps up after listening to her talk] Oh yay! Is Otis your boyfriend? Oh I don't think we ever introduced ourselves, I'm Cheryl and my wonderful big brother is Ash!

[ Presses her nose and cheeks up against the window] Noooori, can I come in? It's really cooooold!

Nori looked over her shoulder, sure she’d just heard a sound from outside. Her eyes located a small, distorted face pressed against the window outside the seed shop. It was snowing outside, and flakes were settling on Cheryl’s shoulders.

She hurried across the room and opened the door, ushering the little girl in. “Cheryl! Why are you outside in this weather?”

Nori made a noise of disapproval as she examined the bruise. “It looks like it’s healing well,” she said with a sigh. “But I can understand why your brother is so worried!”

She giggled at the little girl’s comment. “That’s very kind of you to say. But I don’t have anybody to clean up after, so I bet your mother’s job is a lot harder! Unless you count my grandfather, of course.”

"Butterflies and grasshoppers sound great!" Nori wasn’t really into insects, apart from a select few dragonflies, but she wasn’t too squeamish about them. Apart from frogs, of course. "But what would these ‘totally useful purposes’ be?" She raised an eyebrow.

Handing Cheryl the glass, she said, “I expect most people have burnt their tongues on hot cocoa. I certainly have. This should make it feel better.”

[The little girl sighed loudly, straining her voice to do so] Yeah, yeah, yeaaaah

Hmm, I guess so... Pepper especially is messy ehehe🎵 [Cheryl ran her finger along a long strand of her dirty blonde locks]

Yay! We should totally do this [At Nori's question, Cheryl goes all squinty eyed] Well - If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?

[Taking a sip of the water, Cheryl set the glass down and  paused] .... ...... Yeah, I feel a little better knowing that, honestly! Thanks for the water, Nooooori ~

Peter stared blankly and slowly shook his head. His mouth hung open. He did not have a brother or sister. Just his dad. Wilhelm wasn’t that great. But Peter loved him. In his eyes, though embarrassing, and Peter didn’t agree with him a lot, Wilhelm was a protector. Someone Peter couldn’t be.

He swiftly pulled his head back, and his neck scrunched up. His nose twitched. His nostrils flared. Why was she touching him? She was weirder than Sue. Weird! “There’s nothing good about that…” Peter was not cute. Boys were not cute.

Peter was confused.

She stepped away, and Peter allowed himself to sit up. He leaned over his knees with his hands at either side, gripping the bench, elbows out. “Yeah.” He shrugged. “The plaza is a big, open space people play in,” Peter said, but he had no idea if he actually wanted to play with this girl. The kids he usually played with weren’t exactly around.

[Frowns a little hearing his answer] Oh...Don't worry! You can meet my big brother some day!

[She looks over his expression which seems distressed and slowly grows irritated] Whatdayoumean that's not a good thing? It certainly is! Geez! Anyone can be cute, and I think you're cute - you should be happy - I don't think many boys are cute! [Rolls her eyes, blowing air out of her mouth heavily] Whatever, you're not as cute as Ash.

[Quickly loses her irritated tone and begins swirling around once more] So this is the plaza, huh? Our plaza has this weird huge statue with cows and chickens and sheep! It's funny I didn't see any animals here, does your town only grow seeds or somethin'?

"Maybe you should listen to your brother," Nori advised, chuckling softly at Cheryl’s flexing. "He’s just trying to keep you safe, you know! You wouldn’t want to worry him, would you?"

Despite having swept the floor only that morning, she was worried that Cheryl would get her clothes dirty and get in trouble at home. “Come on, silly, get up! What if the floor is unclean?” she fretted.

"Oh, no, don’t worry about it!" She would feel awful for taking a little girl’s gift to her friend. "No, Hiro, should be back soon. You can give it to him then. They smell lovely, though, I’m sure he’ll love them!"

"Oh!" Nori drops down to Cheryl’s eye level. "Are you okay?! I told you to be careful! Here, I’ll get you some water." She rushes to fill up a cup from the tap.

[Her happy attitude instantly deflates as her cheeks turn pouty] Aww but that's no fun.... He'll find something to worry about, he always does! Yesterday I ax-a-ma-dent-ally ran into the fence 'cause I thought I could jump over it but I couldn't and he got all worried. [Lifts up her bangs to show a pretty pale bruise on her forehead] It wasn't that bad!

[Shakes her head, and slowly gets up] Oh all right Noooori!  Your house is always very clean though! [Laughs softly, whispering discreetly] Don't tell Mama, but your house is actually a lot cleaner! 🎵

Are you sure, I mean, I see Hiro all the time but I hardly ever see you! [Thinks it over to herself] Hey yeah, you know what - [Stands up dramatically, completely forgetting about the lavender she was holding] We oughta spend more time together and catch butterflies and grasshoppers and things for totally useful purposes! 

[Cheryl pouts until she's given water, trying to put on a brave front] Mm, t-thank you, hm! Cocoa is dangerous... I wonder if Ash ever gets his tongue burned too...?

"Why would Ash be upset?" Nori asked as she moved into the kitchen to make the little girl some cocoa. "Does he not like you coming to Konohana by yourself?"

She took a cocoa pack out of the cupboard and poured some milk in the pot to heat through. “What are you on the floor for?” she asked fondly, laughing. She noticed the lavender Cheryl was clutching onto. “Is that for Hiro?”

Splitting the milk between two mugs and adding the cocoa powder, Nori set the cups on the table. “Here you go! Careful, it’s hot.”

[Breathes heavily] Yeaaaaah, he says it's all dangerous and stuff but I'm fine! [Flexes her arms like she's seen on TV] I'm big and strong and can take on any mean bady!!

[Giggles lightly, rolling closer to Nori] Hehe, floors are fun to play on, silly! You should try it! [Tosses the lavender into the air, which falls back and hits her squarely in the face] Y-yeah... It's for Hiro but he isn't here so if you want it you can have it ❤

[Rolls over to the table, and proceeds to burn her tongue on the hot cocoa] O-ouch ouch!

[Sniffles sadly, pushing the cup away from her] The cocoa is evil...

/Starts walking over to the girl, calling the ragdoll cat over/ Lolita, Lolita, come here kitty. /She notices that Cheryl is on the ground, stares down at her, looking a little panicked/ Are you okay?! 

/Bends down, looking at the girl’s forehead/ Are you okay? I don’t think you should really have been running. With a cat. On a farm. /Pause/ Is your frehead okay?

/Blinks, as the cat starts walking over to where Minori is, meowing loudly. She picks up the cat in her arms, tilting her head slightly at Cheryl/ For what? What did you need Loli for?

[Sniffling, Cheryl rubs at the mark on her head that was without a doubt horribly red] [Breathes in deeply before shrieking in a loud, high pitched voice] N-no! I'm horribly disfigured and no one will ever love me and I'll probably die of infernal bleeding!

[At her words, Cheryl shot up] Heey! I live on a farm Missy, and I can assure you I run on it all the time...With chickens...and sheep...and cows...and my awesome big brother... [Gasps at the mention of her forehead and quickly rushed to cover it] Ohno, is it that bad? It's bad, right? Ohnooo....

[Glances from the cat to the farmer and pouts] I just wanted to play dress up... See I had these little booties and a scarf knitted but they don't fit the chickens, or the sheep and definitely not the cows...And Georgia wouldn't let me put them on the puppies or kitties and neither would Kana so I've been looking for a kitty and I found yours!"

Nori frowned. “Hiro’s not at the clinic? I can’t imagine him being anywhere else.” She considered this for a moment and then snapped her fingers. “He might have said something about going into the city to pick up supplies for Ayame. Why did you need him?”

She laughed fondly at the little girl. “Well, I could definitely make cocoa if you’d like,” she said, gesturing towards the kitchen.

[Shrugs and wraps a strand of hair around her finger] I dunno, he didnt tell me he was going anywhere...

[Presses her hands against her cheeks] Oh! Nothing really, I just missed him and wanted to give him a gift. [Stops for a second whispering under her breath] Course' Ash might be upset I went here for no reason..

[Giggling she fell backwards onto the floor, still holding onto the lavender] Really? I don't wanna distract ya' but I'd love some cocoa!!

/Doesn’t run after Cheryl, but instead keeps a pace with her. She lets out a slight sigh, shaking her head/ You know, this is just really frick-

/Stops dead in her tracks, pausing for a second to watch the girl carry Lolita away. Suddenly, she calls Cheryl, hoping deep down this whole thing is just a joke/

  Are you really stealing my cat?! Is that what’s going on?!

[Okay, so she was running out of steam and the cat seemed to be struggling to find a way out of her arms. So Cheryl collapsed on the ground, the cat jumping out of her arms in the knick of time] Whew!

[The small girl panted heavily, turning onto her back and rubbing at what she guessed was a red mark on her forehead] Ouchie ouch....

[At the farmer's question, her lip quivered] ....I was gonna give her back, honest. I just needed to....borrow her.

/Standing on one of the lower beams of the fence, she reaches out to pet some of the sheep/ Wow, you're all so friendly!♪

[Cheryl practically tore the door down, running out to meet the new kid that was bothering the sheep]

[Bounding up to her, Cheryl gasped and covered her mouth, squeaking loudly] Your hat! It’s so cute! Almost as cute as my brothers!~

My name’s Cheryl and we should be BEST friends!

[The little girl laughed and beamed at Nori, wiping a thin sheet of snow off her boots and skirt. A few specks of ice glinted in her soft locks but she was too busy to notice] Aww, I just came by to see Hiro but I couldn't find him at the clinic!!

[She placed the lavender, which she had picked earlier, on Nori's desk and quickly curled up on top of it, cradling her head with her arms] Soo watcha doing? Are you knittin' or making cocoa?

/Checking her mail, staring at the couple of Christmas cards (and bills) that she got today./ Well, this is kind of-

/Stops herself when she looks up, noticing the small blonde girl running away with what looks like..? Her cat? Pauses. Keeps staring./ What. 

/Keeps standing there, confused, until she finally gets it through her head: That is in fact, Lolita, being carried away by some kid./ Oh, frick! /Starts following Cheryl, calling after her/ Hey! What are you doing?!

[Everything was going according to plan. All she had to do was nab the cat and bring it home and she'd be - oh shoot! Turning around for a moment she caught the attention of the farmer and now Cheryl had to scurry faster] I'm just...borrowing this!

Nooo go away....! You'll never take me alive copper! [The little girl shouted as she ran as fast as her tiny feet could carry her while trying her hardest not to jostle the cat in her arms too much]

Grumpy vs. Annoying 😺 [Neil&Cheryl]

Neil whips his head around in the direction of the speaking. The one talking was the young girl who had been leaning against his stall studying him for awhile. He had honestly forgot she was there. He didn’t really know what to say, but he wasn’t about to be mean to a child. Especially since he was currently where her mother got some of their animals. “Uhh. Thanks…” He mutters quietly. He felt awkward around people he didn’t know well, and usually he was rude. He didn’t really know what else to say without seeming strange.

[Giggles at his shy nature and twirls a long strand of carrot orange hair around her finger] No problem Mister, I'm Cheryl! Ash is my big brother and we live in BlueBell town where we raise and sell animals just like you! 🎵

Mhm, I work the shop with Mama, and Ash takes care of the cute cows and chickens! [Smiles wider, swaying he fingers as she speaks] Well, Mr. stranger, do you think I'm cute too? ♥
