but this time I have a music video ! that I feel is very integral to him during the BS era.
SO CRAZIEST THING EVER.
I already had DN Spamton's Big Shot era so vivid in my mind, but it was very hard to describe it. That is until this MV showed up and perfectly explains it for me.
The way this entire video plays out is exactly how I see DN Spamton's BS era ( and even a little bit of present day Tenna) RIGHT DOWN TO THE HAIR. THE DEMEANOR...THE SENSATIONALISM..THATS HIM!!
AND THE EYETWITCHING....
LIKE IT WAS SOOO SCARY WHEN I SAW THIS VIDEO BECAUSE OF HOW PERFECT IT WAS...
He is NOT a tv evangelical, but the way he'd approach sales and etc etc is LIKE one..if that makes sense?? Manipulative tactics, again the sensationalism, the god complex lol
He really thought he was invincible.
ANYTHING HE TOUCHED...HE COULD SELL..
There was probably every kind of merch of him. From bobble heads to slippers...maybe even aprons...maybe even shot glasses....maybe even the glass queen would use..who knows...
I still think he'd live in her mansion, his dynamic with Queen and Mansion staff will come later.
Yeah, I can see this is how they carry him around in the mansion..sure..swimming in his own paradise.
He just had a way with words ! He had many fans !
He was a hit! Everyone needed a piece of that paradise he was selling!
(I'll draw this later, but pretend all of the Addison's are in suits that are in the same color as them- i.e Blue Addison in a Blue suit.)
He still took all of the Addison's business, BUT HERE...instead of them ditching him, he offered them to work for him.
In no way I think.. this was out of the kindness of his heart, but more to belittle them? If that makes sense.. a bit out of spite just to gloat about how he made them. Making it clear that at the end of the day, He was the one calling the shots.
He practically had all of cyber world eating at the palm of his hands.
I'd like to think they properly met because Tenna asked to interview him, and the CROWD LOVED THEIR DYNAMIC!!!!! " WE WANT MORE" THEY CHEERED!!
Anyway, So far I just feel like Tenna would've come across how much of a success Spamton was, and in Defernull I feel like Tenna had more at stake in terms of staying relevant or just "being watched". ( reasons why I'll decide on later). He was really banking on Spamton filling him in on the secret to how he pulled it off.
Spamton would've seen Tenna as an opportunity to become MUCH bigger than he already is. " As seen on TV" gets you more credibility than any old ad you come across online.
AS FOR HIS EVENTUAL DOWNFALL....I'LL TOUCH ON THAT LATER !! JUST KNOW ..JUST LIKE DR SPAMTON...WANTING MORE...COULD LEAD YOU TO DARK PLACES !! NO MATTER HIGH UP YOU THINK YOU MIGHT BE!!!!
also fyi I have said this before...
Tenna becoming the way he is, is not a result of how Spamton treated him, He witnessed Spamton's eventual spiral into madness and becoming addicted to said madness.
Spamton dipping was a catalyst.
Tenna changed because he felt like he had no other option BUT to change. He just ended up losing himself.

bonus: if it means anything to anyone Witch Doctor by the Cartoons is also a song that I've heavily associated with Spamton.
The "You" could have many different meanings in my opinion...
(like the Addisons, general Cyber World public, him wanting attention from whoever, etc etc idk)
and the "Witch Doctor" is obv whoever it is on the phone.
