i think julius will fully blindfold adrian and give him noise cancelling headphones so he can lay down and just. exist. for a while. until the worst of it passes.

I can imagine Julius trying to give Adrian plenty of time backing out even as they get to the warehouse. But Adrian truly won't back out of this. He's made up his mind.
Imagine it does go much better than it did for Stefano.

at least he'll be there with adrian the whole time, obviously, carefully monitoring every little change, constantly asking him if he's okay, etc etc.

He's giving Julius a little kiss and he's happily waddling away so Julius can start preparing. What is Adrian doing? He's knitting another dog sweater.

adrian is just in his own little world, enjoying retirement 😭 what a guy. and at least princess loves the sweaters, so she doesnt mind. unlike some middle aged man i know.

its also so adrian can backtrack at any moment. which he still stresses he should do, but alas. hes been begging for this for like. months. so. its a lost cause atp
but he does take the time to stock up on supplies. since they'll be staying in his warehouse for a bit, away from everyone. just so adrian has time to get used to everything in peace and quiet.
Uh oh. He's tearing up. But he refuses to let them fall so he's turning away from Julius.

adrian is getting a kiss on the forehead. because julius does feel bad about making his cute little husband upset, but alas, he too is upset. so i think this will go nowhere.
hes just set in his decision of never again hurting anyone due to his vampirism again. adrian included. and turning him? well, it'd be painful, thats for sure!

He thought about it so hard, just so Julius knew he was taking this decision very seriously. And yeah, he does in fact still want to be turned.

He blinks.
Once, twice, thrice in quick succession.
Suddenly aware of his surroundings again. The ticking of the clock on the wall penetrating trough the fog in his mind.
The burning white light from his computer burning his eyes. Not a single word written on the document opened.
When did he intend to start, he wonders.
It felt like he has been at his desk for hours now.
Brown, almost black, eyes flicker to the clock once more.
A fourth blink. Eyes widening at the time as realization hits.
He curses quietly.
It's almost time for dinner and he hasn't even started thinking of what to make for him. For his daughter.
Swiftly he stands from his desk, though groans when his stiff muscles protest against the action.
Raising his hands above his head, he stretches, reminiscent of a cat after a particularly sweet nap in the sun. A yawn also breaks out.
With a flick of the mouse and a press of a button, he shuts off the computer.
And curses again as he's plummeted into darkness, the monitor having been his only light.
'How long was I sitting there, daydreaming?' he questions himself internally, as he creeps forwards to the door and opens it.
Warmth envelops him as the yellow light from the hall hits him, and he finds himself smiling softly. That doesn't particularly matter.
His daughter also pokes her head out from her room.
"Papa! Did you finish working?" Coral asks innocently, going to hug her father, a tender smile on ber face.
"You could say that," he muses, "How was school?"
"Oh, great! We have a nee English teacher!"
"Do you now? And?"
"I think he's nice."
Mason smiles at his daughter, ruffling her hair as they slowly make way to the kitchen together, as the girl is intent on clinging to the man as long as possible.
"What's his name?"
Coral squints and purses her lips, thinking deeply.
"I... Don't remember," she admits shyly, amber eyes flickering to the floor.
"Don't stress yourself, sweetie. I'm sure he doesn't even know yours either," he says, patting her lightly on the shoulder, as the girl finally untangles herself from him.
