Bl Manhwa with Yellow flag ML pt.2

No moral= two lawyers and so much sexual tension. At first, you’ll want to punch the ML, but it gets sooo much better once he falls for the Mc. The plot is actually very interesting, but you know, I just love a story with lawyers flirting, so I may be biased. 

Don’t mess with the pooch!: The reason this title is on this list even though I actually think the ML is a green flag is cause he also kind of kills people sometimes… but heyy we listen and we don’t judge! Also, sometimes he kind of gets psycho, but the Mc totally matches his freak, so everything’s fine. By the way, the whole story is based on them having animal forms, but don’t worry, it’s nothing too furry or too weird. It’s actually kind of cute when the MC becomes a puppy and the ML fusses all over him.

Cozy Obsession: The plot is one the most interesting I’ve read recently, the ML is the right amount of obsessive, and the MC is sooo funny that you’ll get over his typical protagonist- being dumb for the plot-moment. Overall, it's one of the most enjoyable manhwas I’ve been reading lately. 

Double trap: This one is a bit tricky cause the whole plot is that the ML has split personalities, and one personality is a green flag, and the other is a yellow flag. Now, I hope you don’t judge me when I say that I prefer the yellow flag side so much more to the point where I find the green flag personality annoying. Also, the way the author explained this split personality issue made me love the yellow flag personality even more. Definitely recommend reading this if you like your ship a bit freaky.

You'll never catch me shaming a shipper for liking two male characters in a shounen.

I don’t care if it’s not the authors’ intent or if it’s not canon when the protagonist spends the entirety of the story chasing or competing with his male “friend” you cannot shame a reader for thinking he may be queer. 

“But the protagonist gets married to the female character” Well it’s even more ridiculous because 99% of the time the female interest- literally designed to meet male standards in body and personality- throws herself at the protagonist the whole time for him to ignore her completely (too busy paying attention to his “rival”). Then the author proceeds out of the blue in the last chapter to write them as married, and with a bunch of kids and expect us to accept these two are mutually in love. Mind you these two probably haven’t been shown kissing even once before the ending and the only sign the protagonist is interested in the female character is because he blushed one time in her presence. 

On the other hand, for the two male characters, we have a whole narrative about how they push each other to become stronger and panels and panels about them thinking, chasing and interacting with each other and their feelings even when it’s not positive are never onesided. 

Again I don’t care if the mangaka intent wasn’t to create a queer story cause in the end they always end up creating a protagonist whose entire narrative is most of the time queer coded; from him not being accepted by society because different, to the found family trope. 

So yeah no shame from me if you don’t think they were just good friend.

Cute but mostly funny BL

1. Uncanny Charm: An unhinged sarcastic MC finds himself a medium boyfriend while searching for his lost brother. This manhwa is perfection: interesting and original plot, cute main couple, and both ML and MC have intriguing backstories. But the best thing is the comedy, from the MC's dry humour to the memes quoted. Also ML is hot in a subtle way. I don't know if it's the earring or the blue hair but it works.

2. The Scent of You (completed): I love this bl cause I feel represented by the ML being a nerd with childhood trauma. I'm joking (not really) but ML is a cutie and MC is one of the funniest main characters I've ever read thanks to him being completely unapologetic. It starts with the main couple being more of a funny duo than anything but it ends with them being the loveliest couple.

3. The Boy Who Stole From the Fairy Lake 1° season (completed): MC is my pfp for a reason; he's a cutie who just wants to run away from his psychotic brother. Not much to say about this one just that I love the dynamic between the chaotic MC and the ML being done but also in love with him. I just put the first season cause in the second one the main couple changed and I couldn't really get into them.

4. I Ship My Rival x Me (Ongoing): In this manhua both MC and ML are chaotically dumb in the best way possible. Even though there are so many misunderstandings to keep the story going it's not a bother cause you just want to see MC and ML flirt their way out of everything.

BL Manhwa with Yellow flag ML

1. Netkama PUNCH!!!(ongoing): One of my favourite manhwa at the moment. I love the humour and the way both the MC and the ML's feelings for each other evolve slowly throughout the story. Lots of people think ML is a red flag but if they say this they probably haven't read what I did (good for them honestly). Every time I see a bad comment about ML and how he's too obsessive and manipulative I question myself cause he's just my type: pathetic, obsessive with his crush and with no respect for personal space whatsoever. No, but for real I think lots of people don't consider that the tone of the story is clearly comic so the characters' actions and responses are exaggerated for the sake of humour (Heejae they'll never make me hate you).

2. Traces of the Sun (completed): Intriguing plot, complex characters, and an interesting setting. Definitely a good read. The ML starts kind of as a red flag as he's a bit manipulative, then falls head over heels for MC (which is always a good view), and ends up becoming a green flag. Despite the character development I still see him as a yellow flag which is the best compliment I can give to an ML. 

3. The Origin of Species (completed): Some say ML is the greenest flag ever some say he's a red flag; I can't do math but I can do colours (not really cause if you mix red and green comes out the colour of shit) and so I declare him a yellow flag. Yes at first he's an asshole but my boy was just doing his job normal gangster-ceo 9 to 5 job as one does when you're the ML in a bl. But after the first season he becomes THE BEST HUBBY. The bad thing about this manhwa is that the story can be a bit confusing but I still find it a good read as it can balance heavy plot and silly/easygoing moments. 

4. Necromancer Survival (ongoing): revenge story with a harem for MC. I loved this one so much that I'm reading the novel (which is much more intense). The MC is a cutie little hamster who doesn't believe in himself and the ML who has the ego of an average engineering male student (so pretty high) becomes obsessed with him. Honestly what I loved most about this manhwa is the revenge plot and the dynamic between all the parties involved in the revenge. 

5. The Ghost's Nocturne (ongoing): Gorgeous art style!!! sweetest MC ever, and a good plot. As for the ML, both he and the MC are breathtaking. They really are the most beautiful couple. ML is very much an asshole in the beginning but quickly falls for MC and their relationship is so intriguing to watch. One of the best manhwa at the moment.
