My first finished illustration of 2019! (〃∀〃)

This year, I’ll have a table in the Artists’ Alley at a convention for the first time. The convention, the EpicCon based in Münster (Germany), is themed around Japanese traditions and popculture as well as Western gaming. It’s also the first time I’m drawing this kitsune girl, which I named Eri.

Keeping up with my annual Christmas illustration tradition, although this year it has been a real crunch. Over the past week I stayed up late every day to get this one finished in time for printing christmas cards again, and I managed to do so on the very last day my copyshop of choice was open before the holidays. Hoh boy, all the sleep I’ve sacrificed… Nevertheless, I am happy about how this one turned out. This year, I decided on drawing my character Thanatos, since I haven’t drawn him in a long time and he is actually one of the protagonists of my character’s story. Thus… I should definitely give him a bit more attention. I hope you’ll be enjoying the holidays with your family and friends, with lots of food and gifts and positive vibes~ 🎅 (Also, for those interested in raffles, I’m currently holding one over at twitter where you can win one of my Christmas June Charms and a Christmas card. Last Friday, the snow globes I ordered arrived. Today I used my time to take a nice picture of them =) I really like how they turned out, and I’d love to do some more in the future.

I’ve unfortunately caught a nasty cold some days ago, so I’ve not feeling all to well these past days. However, I sat down and finished my Christmas Chibi June. I love how it came out (⺣◡⺣)♡

Hey Hey! It is done at last! This is my OC Gaia, enjoying the summer breeze - at the beach! (≧▽≦)・ﾟ✧

Due to the summer-like weather these past weeks I really wanted to do a summer illustration this year, and this is the result of this craving. I also tried out some new techniques and Photoshop features while working on this illustration and I’m really happy about how they turned out in the end.

Next up will probably be the charms I started a while back, then I’ll focus on some Halloween-themed art projects ( òvó) ・ﾟ✧

I finally finished the illustration of my OC Celeste that I had originally planned for Valentine’s Day. As I revised some parts of the drawing late in the progress and due to being rather busy with real-life matters I realized I was never going to be able to finish it in time. When that became apparent to me I decided to at least give the piece a little more love then, to make up for it, sort of. In short: I decided to give this piece a way more detailled background than I had originally planned for it. I love how it came out in the end tho :) Hope you like it, too!

Cook & Becker, in partnership with From Software, are releasing the first in a collection of giclée fine art prints featuring concept art from the ‘Dark Souls’ video games.

Starting with the first game, each print is a museum-grade giclee and is hand-numbered but not signed by game director Hidetaka Miyazaki or the artists, as they feel that ‘Dark Souls’ is a team effort and therefore did not want any one person to sign.
