Nolan hums and taps his chin with a pen as he observes Stormflower. The tinkerer appears perfectly solemn, but there’s a spark of inspiration lighting up his fuchsia eyes. He wants to smile; he found himself fond of the design– how light-weighted it is, the accessible blades on the bottom... And now he’s telling him they can collapse and fit up his sleeves?! He keeps his composure nonetheless, and offers his opinion.
“It’ll probably increase the weight a little, and depending on the type of holster, both of those things could take some getting used to… ”
He reaches for his notepad and starts jotting down numbers for him. The mention of leathersmiths already brought several to mind.
“– but, that’s easy! I think it’s a great idea.” With a rip, he pulls the leaf of paper he was scribbling on and offers it to Ren.
“These are some extra good ones I know of. The stuff they’ll make you will last ages. I’ll bet one of these guys can make you holsters that’ll fit to your form, so your weight won’t shift around as much when you move. Plus, if you wanted to continue keeping them hidden somehow, that’d still be possible too, with the right handiwork.”
Nolan rises from his seat, hands confidently placed on his hips with a smile spread across his face. “And if you decide to go through with the fire power upgrade, I can definitely do it-- free as promised.”
