So after some thinking, (and an entire binge-watch of Jujutsu Kaisen) I have decided to clear out some requests that were giving me writer’s block and re-open my inbox! Rules || Masterlist
Can I please get a scenario, where the reader is kind of at the limit with helping everyone and doing chores for Crowley. Like they run off into the woods to just escape for a couple minutes but someone saw them run into the forest. So when Rook, or Leona, or the twins see them in this state of sadness they do everything they can to cheer them up.
Leona was on his way to take another nap in the botanical garden when he heard your frustrated scream nearby, which prompted him to raise his gaze just in time to catch a glimpse of you running into the woods.
As he wondered what happened to you, he headed towards the direction he saw you run in and was able to track you down once he caught a whiff of your scent. He then found you sitting down with your back against a tree, the mental exhaustion that had accumulated in the past month finally revealing itself in your expression. When he stopped next to you, you slowly turned your head to acknowledge him but didn’t meet his eyes.
“Hey herbivore. What are you doing here?” he asked only to receive no response. You merely returned your gaze to the front and continued to blankly stare ahead. Leona assumed you weren’t in the mood to talk so he remained silent after that, and instead took a seat beside you. You didn’t need to say anything for him to understand what you’ve been going through, because he knows how Crowley works you to the bone - indirectly forcing you to deal with Overblotted students and making you run errands for him every day.
When a single tear escaped your eye, Leona instinctively brushed it away with a finger, eliciting a quiet gasp from you. Head swiveling, you looked at him with wide eyes; although he wasn’t smiling at you, his expression appeared softer than usual. He then lowered his gloved hand to your lap and allowed it to settle atop your hands. The warmth from his palm slowly spreads throughout your body, causing your eyes to gloss over with tears.
Leona didn’t ask you anything nor did he rebuke you when you suddenly cried in front of him. He gently massaged your hands, wordlessly letting you know that he’ll stay here with you until your tears have dried. Once you had recollected yourself, the lion-beastman swiftly pulled you towards him before you could thank him for keeping you company.
“There’s no need to thank me,” he murmured into your ear as he carefully hugged you, “If you need any help... I’m here.”
Next time, if you ever feel stressed out and need to get away from everything, you should consider taking a nap with him. Nobody will dare to disturb you when you’re being cuddled by the lazy lion.
“Shrimpy~ What are you doing here all by yourself?”
A startled gasp slipped past your lips when a pair of arms suddenly wrapped around your waist to lift you off the ground and press you against somebody’s chest. Something sharp then pricked your right shoulder, eliciting a high-pitched squeak from you; when Floyd’s laugh resonated in your ear, you pursed your lips and turned your head to see him grinning from the corner of your eye.
“Floyd... Please put me down,” you said, making him pout.
“Don’t wanna~ Jade said that I could hang out with you if I caught you!” he exclaimed, promptly slinging you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, “So you’re coming to Mostro Lounge with me right now!”
“W-wait a second!” you implored but your words fell on deaf ears. You soon found yourself sitting by a table in Mostro Lounge with Floyd squished up against your side as he tried to feed you your favourite food.
“Shrimpy~ Say aaaah~” He pushed the fork against your lips, coaxing you to open your mouth. You hesitantly complied, earning a bright, closed-eye smile from him. “Good shrimpy! Now eat some more!”
“Let them finish what’s in their mouth first, Floyd,” Jade uttered whilst taking a seat on your other side, “So my eyes weren’t deceiving me earlier.” When you arched an eyebrow at him, he took it as his cue to elaborate. “I saw you run into the woods behind the campus, which is where you usually go whenever you’re stressed. Did something happen with the headmaster again?”
Your eyes flickered away from Jade as you twiddled your thumbs. “I was just tired of doing chores for Crowley and wanted to escape for a couple of minutes. I needed a moment to breathe.”
Placing the fork down, Floyd propped his chin on the palm of his right hand with a frown. “So he stole your smile? Was that why looked sad when I found you?” He let out a low puff of air. “I can’t recharge by looking at you when you’re not smiling! I’ll squeeze the headmaster tightly and get your smile back for you!”
Jade then chuckled, his lips stretching into a sinister grin. “I see... Do you happen to like roasted crow, (y/n)? I was thinking of suggesting that as a new main dish for Mostro Lounge’s menu.”
You proceeded to stare at the tweels with a slack jaw, unsure if you should be concerned or laugh off their words.
When Rook saw you run into the woods behind the campus, he felt the need to follow you. He quickly spotted you crouching on the ground with your face buried in your knees, the warm patch of sunlight that enveloped your pitiable form doing nothing to clear the clouds hanging gloomily above your head. He felt his heart sink upon hearing your frustrated sobs that accompanied the curses aimed at Crowley - and despite wanting to provide some consolation, his intuition told him to stay put.
After a few minutes have passed, something beeped loudly which prompted you to pull your phone out of your pocket. You sniffled as you shakily switched the timer off before rubbing your puffy eyes with the back of your hands. Rook’s eyes widened at what he just witnessed. Did you set yourself a time limit for how long you can cry?
As you stood up to leave the area, somebody suddenly blocked your path, making you flinch and take a step back in surprise. You then felt a pair of gloved hands cup your tear-streaked cheeks gently, and a familiar voice graced your ears.
“Trickster, why don’t you cry some more?” Rook asked as he tilted your face up so that your eyes met. You could see the worry swirling in the depths of his fern green hues, and you bit your bottom lip.
“I can’t,” you murmured, “I won’t allow myself to feel down for more than five minutes.”
“But if you return to Crowley now, you’ll only feel worse.” As if to prove his point, he swiped his thumbs across your cheeks, brushing away the leftover tears that betrayed your frustration. “It’s okay to cry for a little longer. If you feel ashamed to cry in front of me...” He paused to take his hat off before plopping it on top of your head, slightly tilting it down so that the brim covered your face; “... then hide your tears with this.”
When you didn’t show any resistance, Rook’s arms encircled your waist as he hummed softly to fill the silence.
“I hope you realise that you’re not obliged to help everyone, not even the headmaster himself,” he murmured, “Every day, I pray to see you smiling and laughing. Don’t let anyone or anything steal your happiness away.”

I want Azul so bad, I miss him even though I hug his neso every day and think about him 24/7. But honestly, I wanna hug him for real 😭 I don’t care if it’s an awkward hug where I cradle him like fine glass while he’s stiff in my hold, I just want one chance to hug him
I want to be in a discussion with him and learn about what he thinks about different types of topics. I want to know his thoughts and opinions, and I especially want to see his eyes glow when the topic does shift into something about money and profit. Maybe some business terms that I don’t know about might be thrown in, but I’d still happily listen because he’d be interesting to talk to
I want to be a little shit to him and do some stupid things like lie down on his ass while he’s lying flat on his stomach when he’s reading a book. I’d do it because a) he’d have a good ass to use as a pillow, and b) I want to just to watch his exasperated reaction as he tries to get my face off his butt, and I’d laugh because it was definitely worth it
I want to listen to him sing. I want to know if he sings in the shower and either laugh at a questionable choice of song or quietly listen in awe over how good his voice is. Jack said he’s got some pipes, let me have a listen for once 😭 I’d especially love to see him sing with so much passion. The sight of him with his eyes closed as he hits the emotional or high notes would make my heart race so fast while I’m trying to suppress any tears that threaten to come out. I don’t care about whether he hits a wrong note or not, I want him to sing with so much passion and joy.
I want to watch him play the piano. Maybe he’s rusty from years of no practice, maybe he’s secretly been practicing and still has his skills well polished. But I want him to play any tune, even just one.
I want to I want to I want to I want to see his smile so much. The glow of his eyes when money is brought up in conversation, the quirk of his smirk when someone accepts his terms for the contract, the grin when his restaurant makes profit, I want to see him being happy even just once. But at the same time, I want most the smile that we don’t normally get to see, one not caused by a victory or a success but one made out of simple joy. I want to walk beside him underneath a twilight sky, and for whatever reason, it’s quiet, and Azul turns to me, and the sun illuminates his face a certain way, and he’s smiling, and it’s so soft and gentle and genuine.
Even if I’ll never comprise a single note in his symphony, I want him to play the music that he enjoys playing. Even if I can never even be a little feather to tickle him to make him laugh, I hope that he never loses his laughter. Even if I’ll never be there beside him to witness it, I wish that Azul will continue to smile every day and find a reason to be happy

HOLY SHIT Y'ALL WE BEEN AT THIS FOR A YEAR
I know I haven't been active or writing quite as much lately (mostly cause twst doesn't spark my interest quite as much anymore and I very picky about what fandoms I interact with) but this might get me back into writing short interactions or requests if I can muster the motivation.
What do you guys think we should do for a one year anniversary of the blog?
I know that I might receive questions about this if I don’t say this sooner, so with permission, I’m sharing this to answer any anticipated questions.
So I think many of you know twstpasta. Today, they deactivated their blog for a variety of reasons. They actually deleted it by accident, but they had plans to delete it nonetheless.

Hi everyone! This is Mac here, and just from the fact that I’m actually properly capitalizing everything, I guess this is telling that this is going to be a pretty important and semi-long post. So I’ll place this under the cut, but as stated before, this is important and I’d appreciate it if everyone took the time to read everything I had to say.
Long story short, I’m deleting the blog.
Now, I know this wasn’t an easy choice to make, and I know doing this will inevitably make some of you sad. I’ve received so much love and support from a lot of people here, and I’ve met friends and made connections that I wouldn’t have done otherwise had it not been for this blog. The positives from running twstpasta far outweigh the negatives by a long stretch, but that doesn’t mean the negatives are something I can ignore as a whole.
I’m going to skip over explaining my irl issues for leaving this blog as irl issues are something for me to balance on my own. But the more time I spent in the twst fandom, be it writing here or posting on my personal accounts elsewhere, the more uncomfortable I became with the fandom itself. This isn’t to say everyone I’ve ever talked to or everyone who enjoys twst is rotten or bad; it’s that I don’t feel welcome nor safe in this community any more.
I’ve been pretty vocal about my personal qualms with the twst fandom, so if you’ve been following my blog, you already know what I’m talking about. So I’ll skip over my soapbox on the stuff I’ve already touched upon, and move onto the more relevant things.
But that being said, seeing the fandom’s reaction to a variety of things this year has made me realize that this isn’t really a community I want to write for. I’ve had blogs talk behind my back about the choices I’ve made to support my personal life, I’ve had death threats sent about things I wrote and the stances I took, and I’ve been invalidated time and time again about themes like gender and sexuality within this fandom.
It’s terrifying, being a freshly turned 19 year old (who at the start of this blog was 17, mind you), and having literal adults gang up on you for trying to do innocuous things like take down reposting, ask to not be misgendered, or to even pay off some uni bills after COVID-19 jeopardized my scholarships. And this was something I saw happening not just to me but other blogs over and over. It’s just come to a point where no matter how much I adore this blog and adore everyone who’s shown me their love, I have to prioritize myself and my needs before satisfying anyone else.
So yeah. I really don’t want to end this on a bad note, so I’ll take this opportunity to try and end things on a better tone. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me and shown me so much love during my time here, and thank you to everyone who’s been part of my journey, from even my anonymous readers all the way to the most vocal of my friends. I really never expected to go this far on a tumblr blog of all places, and I’ll cherish the good parts of what I’ve done and learned from twstpasta.
If you’re talking about good as in he often wins his cases, then Azul fits that. He learned stuff about legal work from his stepfather from a young (ish?) age. 😂 He’s good at keeping things ‘legal’, and he’s notably very persuasive. Him and his silver tongue hhfnfngnngngnngh 🗿
If you’re talking about good as in he’ll keep his morals no matter what the case is, I’m frankly not too sure, but maybe Ace? Ace is clever, and we see him calling out wrongs in the story. He also doesn’t seem to be that money-hungry, so there’s that.
I also feel like Riddle would be a good lawyer. He has an excellent memory and is already very good at enforcing rules and laws? Keeping track of? idk how to describe it lol. And Riddle is very clever so I feel like second to Azul, Riddle would also be an excellent lawyer.
Remember that baby teething thin headcanons? Can I ask for Cater, Floyd, and Silver please, I feel like we need to complete this, except for Ortho

Cater Diamond
- Cater left for two seconds to grab food for the kid.
- And in that time The Child had escaped the playpen and grabbed an extra phone case Cater had set on the coffee table just a moment before.
- When Cater comes back he finds the kid chewing on the phone case he puts the food on the table and tries to take the phone case away.
- "Hey hey hey, we don't eat phone cases kay? Here let's have some lunch."
- If the child starts throwing a tantrum over the phone case then he'll give them their actual teething toy until they can calm down enough to eat.
Floyd Leech
- This kid- I- This fuckin kid would eat anything and everything in sight those sharp teeth growing gotta HURT- So let's call whatever poor object is this child's victim (Misc Object).
- So as Floyd's child is gnawing on (Misc Object), Floyd easy as pie just waits until it's out of the kid's mouth then pulls it from their hands.
- He doesn't really care if they cry initially he'll just give them their actual teething toy before playing and bouncing them around a bit to get them to smile.
- "Haah~ We don't eat that.. Here take this one instead. Look! Much more fun, see?"
Silver
- Silver's kid was probably sleeping on the couch next to their dad before they spotted a hard plastic toy that looked like a spool of thread. (probably a gift from Lilia ngl)
- Silver wakes up with a start as the Child starts chewing on the toy.
- "Hey bud don't teeth on that it's not good for you. Why don't you try this?" Silver will try and negotiate with the child.
- He succeeds and replaces the toy with a proper teething toy. Silver and his kid then continue the chill out.

• Leona trained himself to not follow a laser pointer. It all started with you buying a laser pointer as a joke for Grim but you had to suppress your laughter when you see Leona hone in on the laser like it was fresh prey. You can practically hear the thrumming of his heart and his calf muscles ready to pounce but all that was stopping him was his god-like restraint.
• To add, Ruggie did attempt to do the same but he almost got murked by Leona.
• Ever since the Fairy Gala event, Jamil has found a passion for make-up. Sure, while his little sister is another influence, he hasn't had this much freedom in choosing how he presents himself. Of course, Vil caught wind and soon Jamil was roped into being Vil's test model for new make-up swatches.
• At least Vil throws in some products so both Jamil and his little sister can use them.
• There came a time where Malleus scales started to shed and his grandmother and Lilia were at their wit's end trying to calm Malleus from destroying the Valley of Thorns. It was an awkward, painful moment of Malleus's growth (especially when he was just going through puberty in fae terms) and Lilia would never want to revisit it no matter how cute prepubescent Mal was. At least the shedded scales fetched a handsome price in the wizarding market.
• Deuce eventually got to have his license for using a Magic Wheel. Though it should be worth noting that he flunked the test several times despite how passionate he was at the vehicle. It took many convincing, many begging, many threats (you didn't hear that from me tho), to the person in charge that they eventually relented.
• Azul is the smallest octopus in his family. Female octopi are generally larger than the males and that they're more aggressive. Hence why Azul is calm and collected whereas his grandma and mom are more than willing to deck it out behind the family restaurant for giving them a 1 star review.
• While Vil would rather fight using his beauty, he will not hesitate for a good old fashioned beatdown. You've seen how dramatic Pomefiore is and how they're willing to fight as part of exercising, so it comes as no surprise that Vil is one of the few students of NRC to win in a fistfight. One of them is Leona also.
• Leona may also be one of the reasons why Vil could be fistfighting.
• Cater makes a trend on Magicam where he posts the different times where he's seen Silver sleep. The one with the highest views was the spot where Trein teaches but Lucius is there and napping on his chest. Cater meant to take a step closer but Lucius swiped his claws at Cater, making him jump up and end the video with a perfectly cut scream.
• If Jade and Floyd have a partner, they have to take care to cover their mouth when they yawn. You better try to start the practice of covering your mouth, lest you give the wrong (or right, no one's judging) impression to your eel boyfriend.
• Jack would sleep on his stomach because he doesn't trust the people he's sleeping with. Call it the instincts of a canine, but he's not willing to bare his front side when he remembers what Savanaclaw has done in the past. It takes someone he wholly trusts to have him sleep on his back with his stomach exposed.
• Speaking of Jack, he won't react if you scratch his stomach like a normal dog, but he'll be super happy if you scratch his chin. His tail starts wagging as he leans in closer to your touch, eyes closing as his leg nearly shifts up and down.
• Riddle hasn't called his mom ever since he left for NRC. It wasn't until he overblotted that he decided to at least have some sort of closure. It was awkward at best, one party shouting while the other listens, sometimes both parties shouting. But Riddle feels like he needed to at least let his parents know how he was faring. It was unfair on what his mother did and his father didn't do, but they were still his parents, and they deserve this much. At least that's what he believes.
• Trey stands close and rubs his back. He doesn't need to have super hearing to hear the screeches of Riddle's mother. He knows this is may be seen as penance for spoiling Riddle that led him to overblot but for now, he is Trey; Riddle's best friend.
• Because Grim is technically the smallest student of NRC, he gets to sneak around and find some dirty secrets (assuming that he shuts his mouth). He's got like a growing list of blackmail ready to use and he's got a lot more coming.
• Ruggie is a great teacher when the need arises. He sometimes teaches the rugrats in his hometown how to read and write so that they'll somewhat be ready for the future. If he teaches, he's super patient, always praising on youf efforts and even rewarding you with candy. It's super childish and it slips out sometimes when he's tutoring and he becomes slightly embarrassed when he does it towards people who aren't kids.
• Sebek has vocal training in the morning. It's not that he's practicing to sing, he's practicing to become the world's best speakerphone for his Lord's sake. No need for a mic or magic when all he has is the pure, unfiltered, rawness of his voice as he commands everyone to respect the ruler to be. Silver soon had to buy earplugs for him to sleep well because it was just that loud.
• Silver would love to teach the MC/You on how to swordfight. He would be super patient and awake for this too because he's excited that he gets to bond with another human when majority of the students of Diasomnia are faes, beastmen, or halflings.
