hi!! i saw your requests were open and as a leona liker ur in my listed of trusted leona writers 🙂‍↕️ so, as someone who got all 4 of their wisdom teeth extracted yesterday and are very swollen and in pain about it, could i ask for leona taking care of a s/o in that situation? hcs or scenarios are fine, whatever works best!

He'll only be a little bit of an ass about the situation, really. Just a little bit. Of course, he's not so insensitive that he'll be poking fun at the subject even if you seem genuinely distressed about it, but as long as you don't seem too panicked before the surgery, he'll treat it in a pretty lighthearted way.

"You know they give you medicine after, but you're still nervous about it? Really, Herbivore?" Leona will raise an eyebrow at you, talking like he's challenging you to do something. And in a way, he kind of is — it's his way of trying to make you feel more confident about the whole thing.

...Nevermind that he certainly wasn't thrilled about it when he got his wisdom teeth taken out, of course. It wasn't that long ago, really, maybe you've even witnessed it yourself. If you did, when he starts looking at the ice packs pressed to your cheeks a little funny, it is very much fair to bring up that looked equally as stupid when it was his turn.

All the joking around will stop very quickly when he realizes it's genuinely bothering you, though. And he'll treat your discomfort pretty equally, whether it's more like annoyance over the achiness or more like not wanting to move at all due to the pain.

"Hey, is this thing melted yet? ...I got you a new one, either way." He says as he points to your ice pack, voice softer than usual. Even if you, at some point, start to insist you don't need him to do things for you, it'll be very difficult to get him to leave.

He'll always keep that attitude of his, making it look like he's just a little annoyed that he "has" to help you, but god forbid you actually try to push him away. You are accepting the food he brought you whether you like it or not. “You’re literally recovering from a surgery, Herbivore. Quit being stubborn.” He huffs a little. “What, do you need me to feed it to you or something?”

(And that was a joke. Kind of. Only if you don’t say yes to it.)

Either way, he’s sticking around until you’re feeling better. It’s those kinds of situations that really bring out Leona’s caring side, and— Oh, don’t look at him like that, that still doesn’t make him a “softie”, alright? He just wasn’t raised in a barn!

Hi!! Could I request headcanons of Floyd, Jade, Lilia, Leona and Ace after their crush (who also has a crush on them) kisses them on the cheek in gratitude after the boys did something for her? (U can decide whatever it is that they did for her)

𐙚 Ace Trappola

"Yeah, yeah, it's not a big deal. I mean, that was pretty easy for me, so..." He keeps repeating, insisting it's nothing, even though both of you know very damn well Ace Trappola is not someone who helps others for no reason, not at all.

And even if that wasn't common knowledge among people who know him, is there any way to ignore that... uncharacteristic humility of his, while he's being thanked? You swear that every other time he's done something for another person, he'd just brag whenever they thank him.

While he did help you carry those books specifically hoping to get your attention, now that he actually has it, it does make him feel a bit flustered. It wasn't a big deal, really, he keeps repeating. With every word he speaks, he feels himself falter more— Until you lean in to kiss his cheek, and his mind goes completely, entirely silent.

You blush. He blushes. You say another quick "thank you!" before you take off, he mumbles a "you're welcome". Ace touches his cheek in a moment of disbelief, both embarrassment and pride overwhelming him at the same time. Did that seriously happen? Maybe he should find more excuses to help you...

𐙚 Leona Kingscholar

"...Right, you're welcome. It was just a coincidence. Don't get used to that." His expression barely shifts, but he averts his eyes as you smile and thank him. Of course he just happened to run into that notebook you've been complaining about losing, he wouldn't waste his time looking for it or anything like that...

But his story doesn't line up, does it? How would he have found it at that one specific corner in the library if he didn't look for it. Leona never even goes to the library— When you mention it, it comes out more blunt than you intended.

...And it seems to annoy him, his ears going flat against his head as he frowns. But he doesn't argue for a moment, nor does he leave. You, definitely used to this routine by now, give in to the impulse to lean in and press a quick kiss to his cheek. Leona's eyes widen, ears immediately perking up again.

He, of course, doesn't want to admit just how much it flustered him. You offer another thank you as you take off with your notebook, he grumbles something that you barely hear. This scene will definitely replay in his mind a lot after that — Not that he'll ever let you know, of course.

𐙚 Jade Leech

"My, I didn't expect you to be so grateful. You know you can call for me whenever you need, don't you?" He mantains his usual demeanor, smiling politely as you offer him your thanks. Jade will be humble about it. He's just helping a friend in need, it was a happy coincidence that the subject you needed help with was his best one...

And he does mean those things, to some extent. He is happy to help, it was a happy coincidence. The only thing he's not telling you is how much attention he's been paying to you, watching and waiting for opportunities for him to step in like that. Seeing how you react to it is always a delight to him.

Jade makes a joke about you being indebted to him now. A lighthearted comment as carefully planned as everything else he says to you. Since you’ve been spending time together for some time now, so it should be clear it’s not some Octavinelle business thing… As careful as Jade was with his comment, however, he still couldn’t possibly account for what your reaction would be.

You don’t know how the idea came to you, or how you got the courage to just do it, but you do— Standing on your tiptoes, you press a kiss to his cheek, muttering that you two are even now. Jade’s surprise at your action might be easy to miss, his eyes barely widen before he leans down to kiss your cheek too. Well, aren't you clever, trying to get out of your debt like that...

𐙚 Floyd Leech

Floyd beams at you in pride as you thank him, more than satisfied with your reaction. It's exactly what he was going for. "Heehee, wasn't I cool, Shrimpy? Nobody can do that as good as me, yanno..." He leans even closer than usual as he talks, his eyes all sparkly.

He's always made it known that he likes you. Lingering around whenever he sees you, pestering you to do things with him, always seeming extra happy-go-lucky when he's with you. Maybe he even drops an "I like you, Shrimpy" every now and then, so straightforward it's honestly hard to believe it is what it really is.

Does his sudden enthusiasm to help you clean make it more or less believable that he likes you that way? That's for you to decide. There's no way to be unaware of how affectionate Floyd is towards you, though — Maybe that's what gives you the sudden urge to kiss his cheek. He's already leaning down to talk to you, it's just so easy to do it...

Floyd is the one person who might just escalate that into kissing you on the lips. The idea just instantly comes to his mind. When you pull away, flustered at your action, he looks at you almost like he's starstruck. His heart rate feeling like it's going through the roof from excitement, it's all a matter of whether you step away too fast for him to pull you closer or not.

𐙚 Lilia Vanrouge

"Fufu, it's no issue, it didn't even take too long. Hmm, maybe I'll even do it more often, if it makes you so happy..." The smile Lilia gives you is warm, something you've gotten used to, but it also has a certain slyness to it — an intentional sort of feeling.

Something like that isn't really unusual with him, really. Maybe you can't exactly tell in which way he's interested in you, but he's definitely been putting in the effort to show that he is interested in you. And that includes taking every possible opportunity to be in your company.

...He truly didn't expect you to be so happy over him helping you move furniture in your dorm, though. Of course, it's definitely not a bad thing at all. Even though it felt like such a miniscule thing to him, Lilia's still letting himself really bask in your gratitude, fondly replaying every moment where your eyes went wide with surprise at how strong he is...

You press a quick kiss to his cheek as you thank him, and his expression doesn't exactly falter — Maybe because he was hoping something like that would happen — but you do see a hint of a blush on his face. His smile widens, he considers returning the gesture, leaning in closer... But ultimately, his urge to tease wins, and he steps back with a "you're welcome", though the idea doesn't leave his mind for quite some time.

Hello! This is my first request on here, so just to for warn you I tend to ramble, but I was wondering if you could headcannons of the housewarden boys having a fem s/o that has a phobia of bugs? Like their s/o cannot touch a bug to save her life and if one is in the room she immediately goes to them for protection. (What would make it better is if she could handle literally everything else like Malleus in his dragon form)

𐙚 Riddle Rosehearts

Honestly, at this point, Riddle admires you far too much for his mind to be changed. You could scream and cry about any little ant and the way he sees you srill wouldn’t change.

"Where is it? I'll deal with it." He says, simple as that, before he charges into the fray. He won't say it out loud, but the fact you're relying on him — Even for something so small — does make him feel proud of himself, in a way.

That feeling, however, will not last very long if he learns the thing can fly. It'll make him straight up jump and stumble on his feet the first time, and then the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that...

𐙚 Leona Kingscholar

Clicks his tongue, crossing his arms as he rolls his eyes. "Really, Herbivore? All that over a little bug?" He pokes fun at you at first, but drops it soon enough. It's not as amusing when he realizes you're actually scared of it.

It's not that it bothers him, it's just surprising? But at the same time, it's not. Of course you'd have some type of fear, every living being does, and being afraid of bugs is... pretty common by itself. It's just that he wasn't expecting that.

Leona always handles the bugs with very little fuss, though. He'll always make a snarky comment or two, because of course he will, but every time he says it, he's already on his way to deal with it.

𐙚 Azul Ashengrotto

Doesn’t like them either. He won't scream if he sees one — especially not in front of you — but he won't jump at the opportunity to kill it either.

"Where is it? There? ...Oh, gross." He frowns without really meaning to, and hopes you didn't hear his grumbling as he readies the can of bug spray. It's the one thing you really rely on him for, he can't have you thinking you can't trust him to do that!

And if the bugs have been showing up anywhere in the Lounge, or even a little too close to it, he will be hiring some sort of pest control service. It'll be good to prevent future issues with clients, and for your peace of mind. So it's a win-win.

𐙚 Kalim Al-Asim

Like Riddle, Kalim does genuinely admire you, and the way he sees you won't be changed just because of a common, relatively understandable fear that you have. All he thinks is oh, finally, something he can actually help you with!

Kalim is actually fairly good at dealing with bugs. Jamil has been afraid of them for as long as he can remember, so he's pretty much mastered it by now. The second he sees a bug, he's already on it, there's no need for you to even ask.

"Don't worry, I'm right here!" He announces proudly every time, smiling brightly at you as he swiftly leads the bug into a jar to let it out. It genuinely makes him feel like your knight in shining armor. He'll be straight up delighted to deal with the bugs for you every time, no matter what.

𐙚 Vil Schoenheit

Doesn't exactly share the phobia, but he's also kind of generally squeamish, so he might as well kind of share it. For him, it's more about what the presence of the bug implies. Surely there wouldn't be any if the place was clean?

If Rook is nearby when the bug is spotted — Which is most of the time you two are anywhere in public — he's the one who'll be dealing with it. "I don't know if it's dangerous and he definitely does, so." Is Vil's excuse for it, but you can kind of tell he just doesn't want to touch it.

His disgust aside, though, Vil will still step up to get rid of them if he has to. Maybe through magic, maybe through whacking it with the nearest object. It's a small price to pay for your comfort! ...Though, if it's happening anywhere near his dorm, he'll want to look into ways to prevent it. His dormmates will be hearing from him about the bugs.

𐙚 Idia Shroud

He hates them almost as much as you do. Almost. Idia isn't actually afraid of the bugs themselves, but he's so jumpy, and the things always sneak up on you...

"Eek! I-Itflies?! I'll... I'll ask Ortho, don’t worry!" Idia says, trying not to come off like he's as uneasy as he really feels. He swears he's not scared of them, they just startle him! Not that there's anything bad about being scared of bugs, of course...!

Ortho always deals with the "problem" quickly, but it leaves a sort of bitter taste in Idia's mouth. You, out of all people, come to him for help, and he can't even bring himself to do it with his own two hands— You can, of course, expect some type of bug-eliminating device to be made in your honor, within the next few days.

𐙚 Malleus Draconia

Out of all the dorm leaders, Malleus is probably the one who gets the most surprised by it — He knows it's a common phobia, and he definitely knows that any kind of person can have any phobia, but it still makes him blink for a moment when he sees it in action.

You rushing to him for help wakes him up from that state, reminding him to act before he even says anything. The bug is poofed away with barely a wave of his hand, turned into a flower or whatever other spell he could think of in such a short notice...

In general, he's always quick with handling them. His skills with magic really do come in handy in these moment —Because the sort of fascination he feels towards seeing this different side of you never leaves. He doesn’t look down on you, not at all! It just makes him feel closer to you, somehow… And he definitely does appreciate how you trust him to help you in those situations, small as they might seem… Maybe one day he’ll figure out how to properly tell you about that.

Would you be down for doing something on how Ruggie would react to making the reader cry by accident?

𐙚 Ruggie Bucchi

If something like that happens, it'll definitely because of a joke. And likely about something he had no clue could have that sort of impact on you, some touchy subject that you two haven't properly discussed yet.

Because as much as Ruggie seems to take most of everything in a stride, he's a considerate guy, even if it doesn't show in the most obvious ways. Whether you're friends or partners, any topics that he knows will make you emotional are things he does his best to avoid for casual conversation — Regardless of how he feels about it.

But, well, you haven't had the chance to mention that was a topic you'd rather not touch. And you didn't think of it much, whatever it was, because you felt like it wouldn't be coming up anytime soon... So when you're talking to him, and Ruggie's joke lands right on that spot, tears come up just from the shock of it...

...And, instantly, the grin on his face disappears. He gets hit with this quick punch of dread, carefully taking a step closer to you with a serious type of expression you haven't seen on him before. "Wait, wait, what's wrong? Did I say something..."

If you don't push him away, he'll set his hand on your shoulder while you explain the situation — if you do, of course, he's taking two steps back — and you might be too busy wiping your eyes to see it, but he's listening intently to every word.

"...Got it. Uh, sorry. I didn't mean it like... you know." He gestures, having a bit of a hard time explaining himself from the feeling of awkwardness that comes right after. "I won't bring that up again, okay? Pinky promise. And... thanks for letting me know about it."

(If you seem to have calmed down enough by now, he actually offers his pinky to lighten the mood. He'll refrain if that's not the case. Either way, though, the subject is quickly changed, and he'll even get you a snack for your troubles — Insisting on paying for it with a slightly ashamed smile that brightens up again when your mood starts to visibly recover from the hit it took.)

Could I request platonic Sebek, Ace and Deuce headcanons on how they are with a half-fae reader who has disproportionate strength? I mean like having no trouble lifting large or multiple heavy objects or being strong enough with punches that one could cause serious damage to a person.

𐙚 Ace Trappola

"Woah, you're half fae? You're like... so normal-looking, though?" Ace teases you, half overexaggerating it, half genuinely wondering. In hindsight, maybe he should have noticed the slight pointiness of your ears, but he's not about to tell on his own lack of attention.

He never really made the connection that your freaky strength might be related to something like that either, honestly. He figured you were just showing off your magical abilties — Like an enhancement spell you learned, or maybe that was your signature itself. It isn't until you mention you have to be careful to not hurt other people that it fully clicks for him.

And then you know he's going to be curious. asking whether this or that is too heavy even for you to lift, teasingly telling you you should be carrying both of your bags because you're stronger. But overall, you're still the same person to him, still the same friend he likes joking around with. The only thing that changed is that now, he gets to pester you about your cool half fae powers too.

𐙚 Deuce Spade

"W...Well, it's not that I don't believe that you're strong, but..." He protests as you refuse his offer to help you carry the píle of books a teacher had requested you to get. Deuce definitely doesn't doubt that you can handle it, especially given how at ease you look, but he's so used to being the friend who helps with that kind of thing...

He doesn't know much about fae himself, and he won't really press for details like Ace does, but you can still see the curiosity in his eyes. Even in the times you, Ace and him are hanging out together, and he's chiding the other boy for asking an invasive question.

Deuce always has some type of question about in the back of his mind, though. He just doesn't voice them. Mostly because he's playing the role of the "reasonable" friend, in contrast to Ace's constant prodding... And because he's pretty much wondering the same things. But, of course, at least one will slip out, some time when it’s just the two of you hanging out. And he doesn’t prod like Ace, sure, but you really can see the intensity of his curiosity in his eyes. Give him a demonstration, and he’ll forever think you’re the coolest person in the world.

𐙚 Sebek Zigvolt

“Don’t hide your strength, Prefect! Your power is yours to use as you wish!” Sebek tells you, yells, really, in this tone that’s so full of pride, it would’ve made you feel like you could take over the world… if you weren’t just putting textbooks back in place in the library one by one, just to avoid distracting others.

From the very start, Sebek knew that there was something familiar about you, and when it was confirmed to him that you two share that similarity, of course he was straight up ecstatic. He's always more than happy to get to know a fellow half-fae — It's not that rare to find people like the two of you in NRC, but in most cases, well... Between schoolwork, his duties, and sometimes them being put off by his attitude, Sebek never had a chance to talk to them much. Now that he knows his friend is one, though…

Sebek is pretty well versed in the different sorts of abilities that different kinds of fae (And their half-human offspring) can have and develop, and enhanced strength is a rather common one, so he's not too fazed at first. But when you explain exactly how your enhanced strength works, he… also wants to know how heavy you can lift this, how far you can throw that. Looking at you with the same big sparkly eyes two other boys did when they said the same things… and with an added invitation to spar with him someday.

𐙚 Vil Schoenheit

Regardless of what the style is, even if it's one he's personally not a fan of, Vil always respects the effort. He might even admire it really, depending on how far you go with it.

He's not one to really make totally unprompted comments on how people look, he'll speak his mind if you're having a conversation, or if he feels like there's a "reason" to — Like if one of his dorm members looks unpolished — so he'll mostly just curiously observe from a distance whenever he spots you in public.

Vil is very knowledgeable about fashion, but he definitely has certain aesthetics he sticks to more than others. Seeing anyone really put their heart and soul into their style is refreshing in general, but when he notices you completely and seamlessly transition to an entirely different one the next week, his interest is more than piqued.

"I have to say, I quite like your look. It's nice to see I’m not the only one who cares about detail in this school." He says with a small smile, on the one day that chance has you two interacting. He looks at you like he’s proud of you, even if you’re not part of his dorm, and he’s very curious about what you have to say about those outfits you clearly put together so carefully.

𐙚 Rook Hunt

On a similar vein to Vil, Rook also very much respects the effort. He finds that it just makes watching you from afar all the more interesting. What changes will you have done to your uniform today, he wonders.

The thought that you might look “plain” or “average” doesn’t cross his mind at all, regardless of how you or others perceive your features. Your clothes are clearly important to you, aren’t they? So they’re as important as your eye or hair color, if not more— It’s simply not possible for you to not be unique in his eyes. He finds the very idea of it laughable, really.

If you two happen to properly cross paths, he’ll stop you with a big smile, his eyes brimming with curiosity. “So, what is the look you’re going for today, Trickster? I can see it was thought out very carefully.” He asks, ready for whatever answer you’ll throw at him. The more detail the better, of course, but he won’t look down on a vague one. That’ll just make you look moremysterious to him.

He does know a lot about fashion from Vil, but things like specific aesthetics, or even the process of tailoring your uniform, aren’t really topics he’s had the opportunity to discuss in detail with anyone. And you’re not only someone who seems to be experienced on both of them, but also a person he finds very interesting — So if you’re willing to teach him, he’ll be very eager to learn.

𐙚 Epel Felmier

Impressed, even if he personally doesn't understand the work that goes into it. Fashion isn't really his thing in general, but he's learned to understand how much effort it can take, being in Pomefiore.

...It does make him feel just a little bit intimidated, though. He might be unable to spot all the intricacies in your outfits, but he can at least count enough of them that it looks like a lot. It reminds him of his more intense dorm mates, many of which are people he's learned to not mess around with.

Then the next week comes, and you decide to switch things up completely? Epel can barely recognize you. "Plain" features be damned, you're an entirely different person to him. He'll second guess himself all the time even after he thinks "Wait, is that them...?"

As time passes and it keeps happening, Epel nearly starts to feel like he's getting whiplash. How do you even do it? If he ever has the opportunity to ask, curiosity definitely will get the better of him. Even if he found you a bit unnapproachable before.

not too specific dw!! i've done a Kinda similar scenario post before but it was a few years ago, so i thought i might as well do an updated hc version..

𐙚 Idia Shroud

He stares at your message on his screen in shock, asking if he wanted to meet up at the con you two were planning on going to. He did want to ask you to meet up, pretty much as soon as you mentioned you were going to that exact convention, but the thought of bringing it up was just too nervewracking for him.

The time it takes for him to answer might feel worrying. You might wonder if he didn't like the idea. It was pretty sudden, and it'd be a pretty big jump from the video calls that already made him quite nervous...

...And that's the reason he eventually gets it together (barely) and rushes to type a reply confirming that yes, he'll be there. It's soon followed up with a joke about how you have to promise you won't be too disappointed, which is really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the anxiety-ridden scenarios running through his head.

One could truly only imagine the places Idia's mind goes to over the days preceding your meeting. He still sounds pretty much the same over text, but you know him at this point. He'll find a way to worry about things that might not even make sense to himself later on. Mainly he wonders if it'll just turn out to be an elaborate prank, and he'll end up looking like an idiot.

Soon the day of the con comes, and even though he's spent the entire night vaguely considering to make up some excuse, just because he's so nervous, Idia bites the bullet and makes his way to the spot you planned to meet at. He shoves his shaky hands in his pockets and takes a deep breath. If you were just pranking him, he might as well get it over with quickly—

When your face comes into view, it's like the crowds of con goers around you disappear. The way your eyes light up when you notice him replays in his mind over and over. "Uhm, hey... I hope you remember you promised to... n-not be disappointed." He eventually manages to say, smiling awkwardly.

It's hard to hear anyone over the noise of the con, yet somehow Idia never misses any of your words. He'd pinch himself if he wasn't too aware that it'd make him look crazy. You eventually start walking around together, talking about your favorite games, and the awkwardness slowly melts into the usual cozy silliness of your calls.

His nervousness never fully leaves, it is the first time you’re seeing each other in person after all. But he’d wanted to spend time with you like that for so long, most of it starts to just fade to make room for all the excitement and fondness. Ah, and you look even cuter than you do through a screen, he dreamily sighs in his mind… only to realize he didn’t do that in his mind at all, and now you’re both blushing. So much that the flames of hair surrounding his face turn pink at the tips, and you can’t help but giggle at how endearing he is.

You keep walking and talking, looking at anything that interests either of you. Honestly. It's probably not the best strategy to take if you want to drop hints that you like him— Not because he doesn't care about it, of course! He'll accept any gift you give him with a big, bright smile.

It's just that he's done similar things for friends back home, so if you're already somewhat close, it doesn't strike him as anything that's too unusual. "You gotta tell me what kinda food you like best, so I can repay you later." He says, happily digging in.

If you do tell him, as soon as he gets time inbetween his part time work, he'll show up at your doorstep with the dish. Because he just had to properly show his gratitude, you know!

He also insists to wash the utensils the food you give him come with. Tupperwares, bowls, whatever it is. He'll have them returned to your dorm in a timely manner, probably cleaner than they've ever been.

𐙚 Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim's history with food gifts is, to say the least, complicated. But when he sees the look on your face as you hand over the food you make, he can't help but smile himself. "Aw, that’s sweet of you! Thank you so much! I just gotta take it to Jamil first…”

Things get just a little awkward then, with Jamil right between the two of you for a moment, because Kalim will drag you along when he takes the food to him — He wants you to see his reaction when he tries it, after all! And the Jamil thing is just a formality, you’re his friend, he trusts that you wouldn’t want to hurt him.

…The whole process might feel a little discouraging to you. It happens every time you give him anything, and Jamil is never thrilled over Kalim being so trusting of you. Or anyone else, really. Kalim feels a little bad for you, deep down, having to witness all of that. Though if you do have the patience to get through that ordeal every time you want to give him some food, it definitely won’t go unnoticed.

Because while he does love your food, pretty much regardless of what you’re gifting him, what makes Kalim feel the most appreciated is how willing you are to still make him food despite that whole situation... And while he might remain oblivious to your crush on him for quite some time, you might notice how, one day, the way he looks at you suddenly becomes even warmer…

𐙚 Jamil Viper

Goes quiet for a second. It takes a moment for his brain to process what's going on. "Thanks, I didn't know you were into cooking." Jamil says after the pause, just to keep the conversation going. He feels a little flustered while he goes for the first bite, hesitating a little on instinct.

He takes another brief moment to think when you ask him how it tastes... he does already like it, just because it's a gift— But he does also have a lot of opinions about food, so if he thinks it could use more spice, he will let you know.

Of course, he's nice about it. Even if he doesn't love the food itself, Jamil still finds himself enjoying it. He might even ask if you want to cook with him sometime, if it sounds like something you'd like to do.

Maybe he'll make you something in return, or maybe you could make something together? He quickly realizes that his proposal might sound a little sudden, but you don't seem to mind it, so...

𐙚 Idia Shroud

It's for him? Really? Are you sure? He stutters out a thank you before he even knows what it is. All his brain has registered so far is that it's a gift. "Uhm, I'll take it to my dorm... a-and eat it later. Thank you." He mumbles, saying he's not hungry, but it's really just because he's too flustered to eat in front of you.

...Unless you prompt him to do it. Like asking him to try some of your food instead of just handing it over. He might just internally explode on the spot, but in a good way.

Idia is honestly a really picky eater, he doesn't really feel like eating anything other than candy unless he's really hungry... but if you're making the food for him, it's different.

He does start kind of wondering if it's a romantic thing, because some characters do that in romance anime. But he's probably just overthinking it, right...? You're just a really nice person. Of course.

𐙚 Riddle Rosehearts

Well, he's definitely not spoken to a lot of girls around his age range... if he's even spoken to any of them at all. That's the main obstacle, in Riddle's case. He just feels like he doesn't know how he should talk to you.

He does have enough common sense to know he shouldn't treat you differently because of your gender. Obviously. So he's not going easier on you with the rules or anything like that— he'll still scold as harshly as he'd scold any rule breaking guy...

...That's what he tells himself, at least. In practice, it's still true, but he can't help but second guess if what he's doing is really okay, at least while he's still getting used to you.

Luckily, Heartslabyul students are, in general, pretty sociable people, so you actually manage to get along with your dormmates rather quickly. It's just Riddle that trips on his words every now and then.

𐙚 Leona Kingscholar

Honestly, he's not thrilled about it. But it has nothing to do with you personally, and everything to do with how he just knows some of the guys in the dorm might get a little too excited about it, and he'll have to actually put effort into making sure they behave.

It's not like they're creepy or disrespectful or anything. Even your most obnoxious dormmates will, at most, just be really awkward around you — It's just the right thing, in Leona's mind, to avoid having you end up in these weird situations.

With the large amount of beastmen in the dorm, though, it's more likely that they'd get too nervous to even do that. They don't play around when it comes to respecting women. If anyone even dared to think about going against that, they'd be very, very quickly outcast.

But besides that, you're just another member of the dorm, to him. He'll at most complain about the dorm getting attention just because there's a girl in it and nothing more. You're still getting the "Herbivore" nickname if he finds it applicable.

𐙚 Azul Ashengrotto

You don't see any of it, but he's ripping out his hair over the whole thing. And it honestly doesn't even have anything to do with you — It's just that it's all so sudden? Your acceptance into NRC, and into Octavinelle, will definitely attract some attention, and he wasn't given any time to prepare for it...

He definitely does his best to make it look like he wasn't taken completely off guard, though. You're welcomed into Octavinelle with a big smile from him, telling you how honored he is to have you in the dorm— And it's not a lie, really, he is glad to have you, he's just stressed out.

Azul is fairly decent at helping you get settled into the dorm, despite that. He'll ask for your thoughts on the room sharing situation on your very first day, and make sure you come to an agreement on the matter as soon as possible.

𐙚 Kalim Al-Asim

Honestly really happy to have you. NRC turning co-ed is a big deal, after all! It means a lot that his dorm gets to be the one to house the first girl to attend the school.

Kalim was planning to have a big welcoming party at the start of the school year anyway, but since it seems it'll be an extra special one, he'll change his plans accordingly. He might end up going a bit overboard, but it's better to do too much than too little, right?

After the initial fanfare, though, he'll also default to treating you like any other Scarabia student. Which doesn't mean he's any less friendly or warm, it's just that he shows the same amount of interest towards any new student.

He worries a little about you feeling out of a place, though. He's heard from the girls he knows that it can be lonely to be in a space that's all guys, and he doesn't want you to feel othered like that! Maybe he'll talk to Crowley about letting more girls transfer, or something. Or at least introduce you to his other friends, if you want.

𐙚 Vil Schoenheit

Honestly, he's a little stressed out. Mostly for the same reason that would make Kalim so happy and proud — NRC turning co-ed is a big deal, his dorm is the first one to house a female student, expectations are higher than usual.

He lectures the other students on what not to do on the first day, and personally talks to you to ask if there's anything you'd like to be done to the dorm to make you more comfortable. He's mostly thinking about things like whether you'd prefer to not have roommates and such, but he's pretty open to any request as long as it's reasonable.

Honestly, Pomefiore might objectively be the best dorm to end up in, in this case. The push for students to be open minded and respectful is real. Anyone who's too biased and unwilling to change just gets filtered out.

𐙚 Idia Shroud

People start whispering about it the second the news come out —Ignihyde is like a lair for awkward people, their leader himself barely attends class in person. Having the first female student of NRC join in surely will make everyone there lose their minds, right?

And, yeah, people do get anxious, sure. But Ignihyde's image as this safe haven for the socially awkward also means, to their members, that they can be at ease around each other. And you are one of them now, so...

You don't really talk to Idia directly, but that's just because nobody does. He sends Ortho to ask you if you'd like a room to yourself, or anything else, really— He avoids mentioning anything specific because he doesn't want to sound weird, but he'll make sure you have whatever you need.

Your dormmates warm up to you pretty fast too. They're shy, and a good amount of them probably never really talks to any girls, but you're still one of them, above everything else. Gender doesn't matter as much after the initial feeling of surprise is gone.

𐙚 Malleus Draconia

Malleus isn't that stressed out about it, honestly. He knows it's a big deal for the school as a whole, but to him, it's just something that should have been done a long time ago. It's not like restricting student genders was helping anybody learn magic.

He's a bit puzzled when Lilia asks him about possibly taking measures to make you feel more comfortable. He has no issue with taking them, of course, he just doesn't think about them right away? It won't occur to him that you might prefer having a room to yourself, for example.

Because of Diasomnia's reputation, you're sort of shielded from most unwanted attention from the rest of the school, and your dormmates themselves are pretty much all polite people who keep to themselves. It's very peaceful in there, really.

Overall it's just not a big deal to Malleus himself. He'll be curious about how you feel being the only girl in the school, sometimes, but he won't ask unless you haven't shown interest in speaking to him first.

𐙚 Riddle Rosehearts

Considering how Riddle is before his overblot, yeah, you're not really off to the best start with your relationship— He's too focused on mantaining that arbitrary sense of order in his dorm, too aggravated by the handful of people who never quite listen, even if he doesn't mean to, he'll end up raising his voice. And he can really get quite loud.

Riddle does treat you politely, if somewhat awkwardly, when you're talking one on one. He does get a feeling you're put off by him, or something like that, but concludes it's probably just from Ace complaining about how strict he is, something like that...

It'll really take some time for him to realize exactly what the problem is. He's so desensitized to yelling too, he probably doesn't even realize he's doing it, at this point. One day, you're having lunch with Ace and Deuce, and he walks up to your table to tell Ace off for forgetting one of the many rules of the dorm, again, and that's when he finally sees your reaction from up close. The way you flinch even though his voice isn't directed at you at all.

It makes Riddle falter for just a moment, even though he still feels like he's in the right at this point. Maybe he goes on for long enough that you end up leaving, or you were just already having a not-so-great day, and it sticks to his mind. He feels this spike of guilt that's almost like it's coming from within— And he feels like he understands somehow, because he does, he just hasn't thought it through yet.

You don't hear from him much until a few days after the overblot. The incident with Ace sticks to his mind, and it comes back when he sees how distraught the whole situation leaves you. He awkwardly comes up to you to offer an apology, along with an invite to the next Unbirthday Party. "I... I wanted to say, I'm sorry for getting you involved in... all that. A-And I didn't mean to upset you when I was talking to Ace that one time. I'll do my best not to do it again."

It has been a while since the specific situation with Ace, it might be surprising to you that he remembers it, let alone that he felt the need to apologize for the whole thing... Riddle says he understands if you're uncomfortable speaking to him, that he'll leave you alone if you'd prefer, the cautiousness really contrasts with his attitude from before.

Maybe you can tell that, deep down, he relates to it. Or maybe you're still just wondering that. You do end up learning a bit about his home life during the overblot incident, after all— But he definitely doesn't mention it during his apology, nor does he ask for any explanation on why you react the way you do. It's more like unspoken understanding than anything.

He's grateful you're willing to give him any second chance at all, and determined to make sure you won't regret doing it. The Unbirthday Party turns out pretty pleasant, even if he's pretty awkward and clearly unused to it. You may or may not notice him shushing any Heartslabyul members that are being a little too loud.

It's a lot easier for you two to connect, after that. He was curious about you from the start, and he always thought you were pleasant to talk to, but was too closed off for anything to come out of it— Your bond is a little slow and cautious on both sides, and then you can definitely tell that his nervousness really peaks when he starts developing feelings for you.

And, as promised, no yelling happens within your sight ever again. He just holds back whenever you're around, at first, but it soon turns to him stopping himself even when you're nowhere to be seen. Even with "troublemakers" like Ace, whenever Riddle feels the volume of his voice rising, he stops himself. It's just not really necessary, is it? All it does is upset people, it doesn't make anyone listen to him more...

Ace comments on it one day, how it's just so crazy that Riddle's changed so quickly, especially since you two started to get closer to each other, he doesn't even yell at people anymore! There's a little joke about how "love changes people" even if you're not dating (or at least not open about dating) yet... Well, little does Ace know, he's actually right for that one.

It might be one of the first things you two talk about. Someone wearing headphones isn’t anything crazy, sure, but it’s still unusual, so it catches his eye. You’re always wearing them when he catches sight of you in the hallways. He assumes they’re just regular headphones, and you’re just listening to music… And as time passes, he starts getting more and more curious about what music that might be.

One day, whether you’re complete strangers or friendly acquaintances, Floyd just walks up to you and asks, ”Shrimpy, what’re you listening to?” while looking at you with those big curious eyes. He’s wondered about it a decent amount already, probably placed bets on a wide variety of musical genres — Now he just needs to know if any of them were right.

When you take them off, letting the headphones rest on your neck as you tell him that actually, you’re not listening to anything, it seems like his eyes get even bigger. It’s just noise canceling, because the hallways get really loud, you explain. Floyd hums, tilting his head a little. It’s not what he was expecting at all, but he finds it completely reasonable. Yeah, the hallways do get really loud. He didn’t realize it was possible to, in a way, opt out of it like that. Most of his previous ideas just involved an exhausting amount of magic.

Floyd is a little bummed you’re not listening to any music though. The bets he was coming up with were getting pretty fun, so he’ll still demand you tell him about what you listen to. Then after that’s out of the way, he just doesn’t mind the presence of the headphones at all. Whether you have them on or not, he’ll still bug you if he feels like it, them being there never registered as you ignoring him anyway.

𐙚 Jamil Viper

Jamil kind of side eyes it at first, not because it’s his personal opinion on it or anything, but just because of the impression it gives off. Most people would find it kind of rude, wouldn’t they? It might seem like you’re not paying attention to them while they talk.

When you two actually talk to each other, though, he never runs into that problem, so it becomes a non-issue. You can hear and reply to him just fine, it turns out, and you’re always polite too, that’s more than good enough for Jamil. Sometimes you even take off the headphones, though he doesn’t mind it if you’re “listening to music” while you two talk, since it clearly doesn’t stop you from paying attention.

He does remain aware of how others might perceive it, though. Mostly because as you get closer, he doesn’t want people to misunderstand you— He never points it out because he doesn’t want to be rude. Until a certain day where you have to deliver something to a teacher comes, and your headphones are on, so he says ”It might be a good idea to take them off before you go. You know how the professors are.” You smile and tell him not to worry, you just wear them when it’s too crowded and loud around you, and that’s when he realizes what they actually are.

At that point, Jamil's already gotten used to seeing you with the headphones. He never thought you might have a specific reason for why you wear them so often, and knowing it now doesn't really change much of anything. Maybe he'll indulge his curiosity about it if he feels you two are close enough, but it'll really just be about curiosity. He may not fully understand why you find the noise so overwhelming, but it's not like that's going to make him think of you as a totally different person.

Leona was raised in the savannah, so yes, he doesn’t really get along with the cold. As soon as autumn starts, he’s grumbling about how awful the weather is that day. How glad he is that Savanaclaw stays at reasonable temperatures all year long, really, he doesn’t get how anyone could even enjoy this kind of weather—

”What’s so good about this damn snow, people look like stupid kids getting excited over it…” He’s ranting absentmindedly as you walk together when he glances at you, and sees how you’ve been shivering through every step. Leona’s look twists from mildly annoyed to actually kind of disturbed.

”Herbivore, did you forget your coat or something?” …Immediately, he pretty much forgets about his own complaints. Has he ever even seen anyone shaking this hard? And you expect him to just believe you’re fine? Did you freeze your brain off during this walk? He’s not having any of that, no way.

If you just keep insisting don’t even need an extra scarf, he’ll just decide that you know what, there’s no reason for either of you to be out in this hell weather— Keeping you closer to him than usual during the walk back to Savanaclaw. Where he, of course, will deny any claims of him getting worried over a small thing, and/or that he was cold himself and just wanted an excuse to go back to his room.

𐙚 Ruggie Bucchi

Like Leona, Ruggie also dislikes cold weather, he just expresses it differently. Less straight up cursing the general existence of winter, more laughing about how he’s freezing his ass off. He doesn’t comment on it as much either, because thinking about it just makes you feel even colder.

He does see a kind of aesthetic appeal in the snow, though. “I mean, who doesn’t? Leona-san doesn’t count, he just complains because he’s cranky about being cold.” He tells you when he’s explaining why he’s invited you to come to the courtyard with him to look at the first snowflakes to fall that year— Then he turns to you and you look like you’re straight up vibrating, and he’s actually horrified.

”Wha… What do you mean you’re fine? Are you crazy?” He’s even more wide eyed when you give him your response, are you seriously this stubborn? Isn’t this a hypothermia symptom? Ruggie scrambles to get his second jacket off himself and onto you. He’s freezing even before it’s no longer on his body, but that’s not his main concern right now. You’re getting dragged out of that courtyard.

…Ruggie has picked up on a few things from classmates who are familiar with snowy winters, yeah. And it just so happens that some of the stories might’ve been a little exaggerated. He insists you keep his jacket even after he calms down, then ends up getting a cold from the whole situation. Yeah, pretty embarrassing. Still better than risking you getting hypothermia, though, he’ll always say whenever you bring this story up.

𐙚 Jack Howl

The fact that you’re dating Jack itself prevents this scenario from taking place, honestly. Because if you’re together, then he has plans of introducing you to his family. And if he has those plans, he’ll make a point of gifting you a very nice, very warm winter coat for you to wear the day on the day of your trip.

That, and he’s actually knowledgeable on the dangers of cold weather and the signs of hypothermia. And the fact that he’s kind of built for colder weather in the first place means he’s actually pretty energetic during the winter. ”It’s getting colder soon, so don’t forget to bring your jacket to class.” That’s the text you wake up to, sent at five in the morning, the exact day before the winter solstice.

You also hear it often, it might not feel too cold now, but it will later, he explains as he reminds you once again. Even if you also come from a place with colder weather— So, if he meets you for lunch and you’re shivering in place, it’s either because your clothes aren’t keeping you warm enough, which Jack is constantly trying to prevent, or you could be sick.

And it’s not going to make him straight up freak out, but he already regularly fusses over you, so he’s just going to do it more. ”If you’re shivering like that, you can’t be fine. Were you feeling unwell earlier? You know it’s not a good idea to go out in the cold, if you do…” He’s already dragging you to a warmer area where he can get you a hot drink, asking you if you felt off at all today, and giving you his jacket — all three at once, and that drink is firmly in your hands very quickly too.
