One year ago today, was Hiro’s third to last day doing meet and greets in the Disney Parks. A group of guests dressed up as the characters and were first in line. And then all the cameras whipped out on everyone else’s hands to capture the moment.

Tadashi is here but Hiro and Baymax might not be.

Hey guys! So it is heavy rumor that Hiro and Baymax will be leaving Walt Disney World and join their friends Kida, Milos, Esmeralda and much more. Basically they will no longer appear in the parks. No meet and greets, parades, or shows.


The rumor is that they’re either leaving super early January or January is their last month completely. They’re amazing characters and it would be so sad to see them go. If you’d like to help you can email Disney talking about Hiro and Baymax. Ask them if they are going to be in any other parks or talk about your experiences with the characters. Disney listens if there is enough demand. 


Please do NOT ask Disney to keep the characters because it’s not an official statement that they’re leaving. It gives off a negative energy.
 Talk about how much fun the characters are and how influencing they are to you. Frozen honestly overshadowed them. 
If anything, ask Disney if Hiro himself will be anywhere else. Hiro can be by himself, but you will never be able to have Baymax by himself. Even in daily meet and greets, it’s either Hiro, or Hiro and Baymax. Ask for Hiro because he’s the main character (and throw in that he needs to be in his super suit).
Let’s all try to keep them guys. They’re leaving soon unless the head honchos change their mind. And even if they aren’t leaving anytime soon it’s still nice for Disney to hear how much they are loved.

Klarisa and I visited Hiro and Baymax at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios on the day it was annouced they were going away. We asked Hiro to recreate his brother’s video except with him making Baymax. It’s such a special moment watching the two of these talk to each other while recording. I took out the interaction but they were so cute with each other. I’m going to miss them so much.
