Happy New Year!

For New Year's I like to draw something related to whatever affected my art most this year. It was tempting to do something IDCC related because it's been such a huge part of the last two months of my life, but apologies to naota and takajun, taking the first serious steps towards writing and publishing my own comic has to take the cake! Kisses to Keep You Warm (IDCC Advent Calendar) ⛄️❤️

After a wonderful season of art, fics, crafts, and poems, we have finally reached Christmas Day! (ignore Tumblr not letting me upload this on time) I think it's fitting that we opened the calendar with a fic where Nao and Souta fell and kept getting interrupted, and here I am to bookend it with the kiss they couldn't have ❤️

This event is probably my favorite fandom event I have ever experienced! Thank you so much to Nanani on the Discord for organizing everything, and to everyone who participated and commented on all the pieces! It was an absolute joy to participate in and it's crazy to see how much more at home I've started to feel in this server since I agreed to join this event. Y'all are the most inspiring and encouraging group of people I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. Here's to some happy holidays for everyone who celebrates and many more excellent events in the future!

I was originally just gonna post the inosuke piece for today, but due to some recent events (Aina finding out about TakaJun and implying she'd consider it) and the fact that I just realized today is the 1 month anniversary of Emily's TakaJun fic, I had to make a quick addition!!

And it's between two characters who have never even fucking seen each other..... 🥰 Takahashi Ikuo and Sato Jun from Idiots Don't Catch Colds my loves my darlings mwah mwah mwah!! I strongly strongly recommend the fic The Physics of Falling for You by EmilvEden on Ao3 (https://archiveofourown.org/works/73892086) to see the masterpiece from which this concept was born! Their dynamic is positively delightful and the fic is so incredibly written!

Happy Halloween from Iseya Nao and Ueshima Souta! Guys please please please go read Idiots Don't Catch Colds, I've been reading it for six years and it's genuinely one of my favorite comics ever. Just a cute little Naota at a pumpkin patch to cope with the mental state I've been left in every Thursday for the past couple months with this most recent arc. I'm gonna crash out if the slow burn doesn't end soon (it gives me life). Thank you Aina for writing such an incredible story, and I'm so glad I finally found people online to share my love for it with!

StyleTober 2025 Days 9-10: 20s Cartoon!! 🎈

This feels later style-wise than the 20s but none of the styles I could find translated very well to Shashi and Neeves, so here’s what I’ve got. Always fun to work in solid black and white! I’ll be skipping the chibi prompt for now since I’ll be away from my computer until Monday afternoon at the earliest and the made from plants prompt might be late too for the same reasons, but I’ll definitely be back and lock in when I return!

StyleTober 2025 Days 7-8: Heaven or Hell 😇😈

Okay slay symbolism~ idk how I did this in like 3 hrs I'm very impressed with myself. I was very excited for this day!! Honestly the next prompt that really interests me is the made of plants one, plus I have a bunch of stuff I have to get done in the next couple days, so I'll probably either skip the next two prompts or do something really quick for them. We'll see!!

I have doodled Shashi and Neeves as Animal Crossing villagers so many times in class, there was simply no other option. I haven't played Animal Crossing in a couple years but this did make me wanna get back into it 🍂🔔🧡

This was my first foray into pixel art! I might continue to explore it because it was such a fun challenge and there's SO much more for me to learn about and improve. Honestly, I wanted this to be a mini animation but I'm visiting family so there was not time to figure that out

I love dressing Neeves up in a more fem outfit given that she usually dresses so grunge! I just know my girl would rock the elegant assassin at the ball look. And Shashi would absolutely get so much gender euphoria from wearing traditional clothes she wasn't allowed to wear as a kid.
