In the midst of a global challenge, riots, social injustice, hatred amongst people and strife, Lord you have been our peace, our comfort, our shield, and our shelter. Thank you Father for a year well done despite the series of trials and temptations. You led us in the path of your righteousness for your Name’s sake. Your anointed our heads with the oil and prepared a beautiful table before us even in the presence of our enemies. You set us above our companions by anointing us with the oil of joy and for this I’m forever grateful. You have satisfied us with jubilant health and triumphant prosperity, you perfect all that concerns us and you increase our greatness. Truly we have seen that nothing can separate us from your love which is in Christ Jesus, for our very lives are hidden with Christ in God. I remember when I had a 3 page list of what I wanted in my future husband. A friend saw it once and teased me about wanting to marry Jesus. I had very high expectations. Despite all that, God not only meet my expectations in @mrcarterspeaks but exceeded them tremendously. My dear son’s first day of preschool today. When he came home and said he wanted to go back, that’s how I knew that he really enjoyed being there! So grateful for the preschool director, the teachers, the beautiful front desk lady and just the ambience of this lovely place.
