here's where to find it on windows 10
Ugh, it was in mine. It's off now.
IT GETS WORSE
I had to turn this off, but it's something that allows Windows and anyone using your device to generate text/images.
LOBOTOMIZE YOUR MACHINES
AI is a freacking plague, I share this for any windows user.

"A Thread of Stillness"
One of my three latest paintings from a connected series, available on my website
Each piece feels like part of the same quiet passage, tied together by light, water, atmosphere, and a subtle sense of transition.

You've heard of parallel play, now get ready for perpendicular play.
Hot cross buns?
i don't know what lm montgomery put in barney snaith but he is by far my favorite male love interest, like she really said "here's this unkempt hobo with a shady past who is also well read and thoughtful and bitter who is not much of a talker and yet somehow has disney princess vibes, the girlies will go wild for him" and you know what? we did
@daydreamingandprocrastination PRECISELY
ok my theory here is that it's because lm montgomery has constructed a male love interest who has actively rejected the toxic masculinity he's grown up in, and finds a different kind of way to be a man that's both empathetic and non-threatening... and crucially he still feels like a real and flawed person, meaningfully shaped by his family, his past, and his life experiences.
that's a difficult thing to do and rally rare to find in contemporary fiction!
so like, even though there are jokes about bluebeard, and objectively marrying a stranger you've only really talked to for like, what, a month? two months? and been on one maybe date with to see a movie-- barney never comes across as a threat. he has actively made himself into 'not a threat' over the course of his ramblings. he doesn't want to conquer the landscape in the 19th century/ early 20th century model of a man-- he's outright rejected the capitalistic extraction of resources way of thinking that he grew up in, and spends all his time in Deerwood trying to understand nature, coexist with it peacefully, and teach others through his writings how to understand it and respect it. the way Barney talks and conducts himself, and the kindness with which he continually and pointedly treats the pariah Cissy Gay, shows that he's never going to kick someone when they're down, especially not a woman who is dying and in a dependent position.
you still get that still popular romance/romantasy trope where only the heroine can heal the misunderstood sensitive special man's broken heart, but the way barney treats a broken heart isn't like... taking revenge on society or delving into dark romance violence. he's gonna fuck off to the woods and write an essay about wildflowers and then go home to feed himself and his two cats in a show of personal competence that r/AmItheAsshole posts have convinced me is extremely rare in people assigned male at birth
the main problem i have with america is that nothings old as hell there. i cant be so far away from a castle it damages my aura
man people really just say stuff on here huh
Noooo haha don't spread racist ideals and colonizer propaganda by idolizing white european aesthetics above all else and denying the life and accomplishments of native peoples on their own lands
People have been living in the downtown area of Tucson, Arizona for at least 4,500 years. The greater Santa Cruz river valley has been occupied by humans for 12,000 years.
You see this?
That's not a river. That's the South Canal in Mesa, Arizona (Phoenix metro area).
This is a view of the East and South canals. At least half of all the Phoenix metro canals were originally built by the Hohokam (from roughly 200-1400 CE), and are still in use (restored) today.
Phoenix, Arizona actually has more miles (kilometers) of Canals total than both Venice and Amsterdam. No, really. Phoenix has about 180 miles of canals, many of which are built on ancient canal foundations.
below is an aerial view photo taken in the late 1930's of one branch of Phoenix's canal systems:
Also have the "Montezuma Castle," if you need a castle:
I don't need to look at some 12th century European castle to see age.
Don’t forget the continuously inhabited pueblos!!
The Taos Pueblo, Orayvi, and Sky City (Acoma) were all founded sometime before 1150AD and have been continuously inhabited since then.
There’s the Medicine Wheel in Wyoming - called Annáshisee by the Apsáalooke, who also say that it was there before they arrived. We don’t know how old it is. Oral history from several different indigenous tribes say it was built by ancient ancestors who lived without iron.
And then there’s the Serpent Mound in Ohio, which, by the way, is the largest serpent effigy in the world.
Radiocarbon dates it back to at least 300 BCE. (2300 years ago), so, you know — the time of Ptolemy and the Punic Wars, and was later repaired by indigenous people about 900 years ago.
This just scratches the surface. So, yeah, we have a lot of old as shit stuff here built by indigenous people. Don’t even get me started on South America.
Okay I did kinda laugh when I saw this

🔥 A giant curious moose inspecting a wildlife photographer 🔥
Never forget: Moose are legit Ice Age megafauna that never died out.
He just….just….pet the wild moose…the bravery, the hutzpah
The forbidden snoot!
If I could pet a moose
I would be very happy
Normally I would say you shouldn’t pet a wild animal, but the moose is already right there. If you’re that close to a moose’s snout you might as well pet it. If the moose wants to kill you, you’re going to die, so you might as well.
@paran0rmaltexas
A giant moose, OP says when that is just a normal size moose
