♱. 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐀 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 warm deep sound , thudding deeply in Michael's chest as proof of the life inside . Perfectly on beat , it brings to mind the sound of war drums , solid as hooves . Thump - thump , thump - thump . A soft chuckle can be heard to rumble over top of the rhythm , gentle as the callused hand that comes to rest on her back .
♱. He'd been stunned for a second there , that's for certain –- severe electrical issues with an amp . It had all happened so damn quick . He didn't see it coming before it had laid him out on the tile floor . Lucky it hadn't been worse .
♱. Still somewhat dazed , Michael lies beneath her , very much at ease with the position in which he finds himself as his mind catches up to the present . The floor might not be the ideal place for this , no , but nevertheless it's not a bad way to come to . He could certainly think of worse places to be than under Toy Chica .
♱. ❝ I'm here , ❞ he murmurs . As if he weren't the one who had gotten zapped . Silly . It was just an accident . Nothing broken , nothing ruined . The young technician took it on the chin . ❝ Don't worry ... ❞
it's late - not after hours, but not prime time for the restaurant. there's a lull in customers, perfect for a little bit of maintenance to be done before things were closed for the night shift. toy chica, personally, was partaking in her favorite pass time; watching michael. sitting on the edge of the stage, plastic orange feet kick lightly in the air the other works in comfortable silence.
until there's a crackle, a loud noise, and an even louder thud as 200+ pounds of machinery slams on the floor as chica jumps to her feet, panic evident in widened eyes, and if she could breathe, well, she wouldn't be.
with a surprising gentleness, she lowers herself to the floor, and, with even further delicacy, a massive, fluffy yellow head presses against the young man's chest, feeling for the vibrations of life.
thump thump, thump thump. the medical database starts speeding through her mind. no irregularities, no skips, 85 bpm, and… laughter? well, his body is still working hard, even if he might be out of it to be laughing after being electrocuted.
she hardly even notices the tender hand resting on her back as plastic fingers gingerly caress michael's face, turning him ever so lightly by the chin, checking for burns, bruises, any kind of injuries.
"i'll be th'judge of that, michael." even her usual formalities are dropped - no mistah afton here. "you jus' got a nasty zap, mistah. lemme look over you."

aghhhhhh otay. otay.
she is the oldest of the actors in (my au's) pizzeria. she's around 35, nearing 36. the others are earlier 30s. she sometimes forgets she's the oldest; its not her favorite thing to admit. she's not super self conscious of it but she will kind of waffle around and not answer directly if asked her age; usually she throws freddy under the bus as being the oldest.
single mother of two (bb and jj). the other parent is not actively in the picture, but it was a mostly amicable separation. she's okay with this, because she loves keeping her babies close. (both are autistic in varying ways, and she's probably on the spectrum too. no time for dat goku)
despite that, she is in REALLY good shape. its the 80s after all, aerobics are huge and she loves to keep herself on the move. deceptively strong and muscular in her arms, especially considering she's still slightly pudgy in the stomach. she never quite could lose the baby weight completely there
she almost kind of coparents? with the other band members. faz ent is surprisingly open and okay with her keeping the kids with her at the restaurant during the day (in summer and on breaks). of course theyre not gonna NOT utilize a little easy child labor (though obviously with HUGE restrictions under charitys watchful eye. they let bb hand out balloons because he loves it so much and its his way of getting to socialize). during the school year shes usually a little late to work and leaves a little early. once a new manager wanted to fire her for it and even william was like "fuck no have you lost your mind"
she's super popular with the single dads for obvious reasons. she's beautiful, still looks super young, and always has her makeup and hair done. wears her hair in dreads that she ties up and bleaches to that bright blonde. prefers keeping her hair in natural styles and does the same with her kids.
i think because shes so motherly shes also really popular with the kids. probably the most popular with kids of all ages (though she does, uncomfortably, have to turn down a lot of teenagers who try flirting with her. she tries to be flattered but, yknow. its weird)
very close with all the maintenance and janitorial staff. i imagine before she got her job at freddys she worked some kind of "thankless" job along those lines so she has an ever stronger appreciation for them. will often bake for them and stay past close just to talk with them (she'll have another band member bring the kids home and allows them to help themselves to the kitchen)
last point includes the "withereds" who i imagine as former cast members given more behind the scenes work at the pizzeria. not that the others are unkind to them, but she is definitely the kindest.
she stopped bringing the kids around when others started going missing. she pays (arguably too much) out of pocket for babysitting to avoid taking any chances.

money troubles aside, i am nearly free for the work year (and will hopefully be working from home from this year onward if not at least closer to home) and will HOPEFULLY be able to start being consistently active again as i hopefully wont be so exhausted constantly from work
anyone lookin to get with toy chica needs to be ready to be The Dad That Stepped Up (gender neutral) to bb and jj. her and her babies are a package deal...

also while i'm thinking about it i should say that i am open to shipping with my girls here -- other animatronics*, guards, etc!
*obviously, if you write the animatronics as underage or as the souls of the dead kids themselves, shipping/romance is completely off the table. we don't do that here

Some sardonic spark in his mind says it ought to seem comical , like –- it's an axe , its presence here is absurd . But he can't look at that thing && see it as anything other than the 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐍 is is , in a place where there are children , when he knows all too well what happens when sharp things come into spaces with soft hands . He is as unsettled by it as Toy Chica . Lying there on the checkered tile , the axe makes his stomach twist itself into knots .
♱. ❝ No one with good intentions , that's for certain . && you didn't see anyone in the database around ... hmm . ❞ He crouches down to inspect the wicked thing , running a calloused fingertip lightly along the edge of the blade . It feels more blatant in its intent than a knife . There's no mistaking what a hand axe is for . That's a declaration of violence .
♱. His finger comes away with a single drop of blood on its tip . Sharp . Eyes narrow ; he picks up the axe by the handle , hand near the head as though to keep it from turning on him . A grip that's meant to neutralize a threat .
♱. ( He wonders if he might have a clue where it came from , but ... surely not . He's just been thinking too much . Why does Freddy's have to be so damn cursed ? )
♱. Straightening up , he addresses Toy Chica again .
♱. ❝ I don't want to cause a panic . && God forbid we close early . So we need to monitor the situation . I want to know where this came from , && we need to make sure we don't have an ... incident . ❞
"no, sir," she replies glumly. "no one ever seemed outta place, mistah afton." a shudder goes down her -- well, endoskeleton spine -- at the pinprick of blood on michael's finger. sharp enough to slice even with barely a touch; this was really bad.
as he speaks, wide blue eyes stare anxiously but completely attentive, and, flexing plastic digits, toy chica nods. she knew as well as he did how quickly the pizzeria could turn to total anarchy for something much less dire than strewn about weapons and a crime-scene-to-be.
"i can ask freddy and bonnie if they's seen anythin'. and maybe poor foxy, too, but i'm sure they've got their own problems in kid's cove…" her words trail off with a sigh, in danger of losing the issue at hand, but the sight of the axe held tightly, carefully in the other's hand brings the alarm bells back.
"an' i'll do it quick."

toy chica can't help some nervous clucks, head whipping around to make sure no kids were around to get hurt. on the floor lays a small hand axe, something that had no business at all being in a children's pizzeria.
"i dunno, mistah afton." she nervously, very gently, nudges the weapon with her plastic foot, as if it might jump to life and start biting. "i nevah noticed anybody that matches the database comin' in with anything like this. i don't remembah any of the others mentioning it either... who would bring something like this in here?"
she just couldn't wrap her head around it. had it magically appeared? surely someone who works here wouldn't have brought something like this in and just left it lying around... right?

rounded plastic hands carefully hold out the guitar, slightly dinged up but still in shockingly good condition. blue eyes flit away, and toy chica seems slightly embarrassed after reading the question.
"it was backstage. i... i think they were plannin' on usin' it for scrap parts for bon's guitah. but it felt wrong to not at least let you have it one more time."
she had overheard, from her older model, how much the old rabbit missed his instrument, and she felt sorry for their predecessors. it was the least she could do, right?
