Okay, so like I watched the Teen Wolf movie teaser trailer and I've been reading a lot of comments and opinions about the storyline, Allison, Stiles, Kira, Jeff Davis shitty writing and decisions regarding the entire plot of the movie, etc., most of which I completely agree with, and now I'd also like to add my thoughts to the mix (even thought I usually don't really speak out much in these matters).
So, something that I'm kinda completely baffled about is HOW ON GOOD GOD'S EARTH DID THE NOGITSUNE GET OUT OF THE TRISKELE BOX? Like wasn't the entire point of getting it out of Stiles back in season 3 and into that box, a box made out of the nemeton's wood, making sure it NEVER got out to cause anymore destruction, pain, chaos and strife than it already had in 3B?
Also, Allison? How, dear god? Like maybe it'd make sense if they go with the whole void Allison, it's a sort of popular storyline from the fandom (ya know fanfics), but like aside from that? It just seems kinda weird to bring back from the dead someone who has been dead for like 15 years give or take according to the timeline of the movie, which I'm not completely certain of (You don't mess with the dead, bro).
I too have a bone to pick with good ole Jeff Davis with the decision to bring back the entirety of 3B super storyline and folklore when the people who made so fantastic in the first place are not going to be in the movie, like seriously no disrespect to every other actor in teen wolf cause I love them, they're great, but 3B was single handedly carried by DOB and Arden, that's just the facts
Also, Stydia? Like do you think that I want to get dragged back into that just so Jeff can break my heart when he inevitable breaks them up? Why, no siree, I must certainly do not.
And Derek, fuck, they kill him or make him once again the subject of martirization and bad writing and I WILL RIOT, and now he has a kid that's basically sterek's lovechild (which yay), but I'm still having trouble with the math for when that kid was even born to begin with
All in all, I still don't really know how to feel about the movie, I'm just here rambling about it, see if I get a clearer picture, am I gonna watch it? Probably due my undying fan love and support for Hoechlin.
Am I terrified of what may come out of it due all the conflicting thoughts that I have about it? Definitely.
