Damien sat patiently on the rickety chair in the middle of the deserted road, trying is best not to shout for help, for even if he did, no one could get him out of his binds. All he could do was try to not attract attention to himself until the five hours were up. He just hoped they werenât looking for him at the bar, wondering why he never showed up for work.
Lorelei tapped her lip as she though to herself, sitting back in her legs â⌠Hm, just trust me for a secâ She said softly, reaching her hands up and gently placing her fingers on the sides of his neck, gently guiding him to roll his neck â⌠If you do this it almost resets the nerves a bit⌠Helps with pins and needles and a bit with the numbnessâ She said softly âYou learn a technique like this when you sit and read for hours on endâ She chuckled.
"Woah, hey, whatâre youâ" he started, half of him fearing she would leave him alone, or that sheâd do something like snap his neck. However, he relaxed into her hands when she placed them on the base of his neck, moaning slightly as he relaxed. He moved his head around, hearing a few cracks as his muscles also flexed and relaxed. "Uh⌠thanks," he said awkwardly, feeling a little bad that he thought she had bad intentions.
Lorelei had the grade to blush at the sound of his moan though she shook her head gently when she was thanked, sensing his awkwardness "It's no problem, no problem at all" She replied with a dismissive wave of her hand "Anything else you need?" she questioned sincerely though she added with a smirk "An itch on your nose perhaps?"
âYou arenât dead,â Coira smiled. âAt least, I donât think so. I havenât seen a ghost around here in ages and you are much to solid to be a ghost.â A frown graced her face as he whimpered. âI can carry you if you would prefer. Iâm little but Iâm strong.â Coira hated to see anyone suffer. It was the way that she and Papa had come to live with so many small animals coming and going through their home all the time.
Oddi seemed even more perplexed at that, glancing over her for a moment before shaking his head gently âNow even I know thatâs not anatomically possible, Iâm a doct-â He paused, surprised once more though by his own words this time, clearing his throat âI-Iâm a doctor⌠Hm, so I amâ He said softly
"A doctor?" Coira asked, head tilting as she regarded him closely. Â "That is a healer, right? Â We have one of those. Â One of my aunties is good and taking away pain. Â And Papa is pretty good too. Â Plus he has hands and that really helps sometimes." Â Grinning, she stepped closer, "You do not know what is possible with me. Â I would imagine youâve never met one like me before. Â As far as I know, Papa and I are the only ones in the world. Â Will you let me carry you?"
Oddi was perplexed by her words for a moment before he gave a hesitant nod, throwing caution to the wind ".... Alright then, if you feel you can I won't question it" He said softly though he made sure to make it sound like her descision, not wanting to be blamed if something went wrong
00:00:00 for Oddi and Jason :3
In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when theyâll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours.
Jason was walking down the street, the only thing that gave his nerves away was his constantly twitching hands. His numbers were running downâŚwho was he meant to meet?
Distracted, he didnât notice his numbers had finally reached 00:00:00 until he ran into someone by accident.
And froze, unable to even speak because he was blown away by the man before him.
"UhâŚ.Iâm sorry, I didnât mean to run into you like thatâŚ."
Oddi gave a soft chuckle âSo, how old are you?â He questioned curiously, looking over him with a soft smile, not wanting to hazard a guess.
"Twenty-seven." he replied easily, smiling "Been doing what I loved ever since I received my college degree."
Oddi gave a small nod, he looked good for his age âIâm 26, only just though, I got out of med school about a year and a half agoâ
âMust have taken a lot of work.â he mused âsays a lot about your dedication.â
Oddi gave a meek smile âThanks, though I imagine youâre just as virtuous⌠So, what sort of hobbies do you have?â He questioned softly, determined to find everything out that he could about the man
"Music, writing and reading, really." he replied, shrugging "Iâm not that much of an interesting person."
Oddi gave a soft sound and hurriedly shook his head "Don't be silly, that's interesting to me. I'm tone deaf so all I can do is listen and I don't have the patience for writing I'm afraid"
"I think I could eat." he nodded, smiling
Oddi cocked his head to the side âWant me to bring it in here for you?â
"I need to be on my feet." he replied "Iâll go into the kitchen with you."
Oddi gave a small nod, holding out his hand for Jason with a smile on his lips âAlrighty thenâ
Jason took Oddiâs hand with a smile, slowly getting to his feet.
Oddi watched him to make sure he was steady on his feet before leading him slowly into the kitchen and letting go of his hand to get him some soup
Jason followed, smiling at Oddiâs concern. When they got into the kitchen, he took a seat at the table, watching as the shorter man went about making him food.
Oddi poured him out some soup and got him a slice of bread before pausing in front of him âCan I make you tea or something?â
Not needing to be told twice, Drake quickly pulled his shirt over his head before stripping out of his trousers and pants. He had no shame about his body and nudity was never something he found himself concerned with. Smiling at Lorelei, Drake stepped into the water and sat in the warm pool.
Lorelei had the grace to blush but also stripped down to her underwear, stepping over with a shiver but giving a soft content sigh as she slid into the heated water, letting the hot water relax her muscles and joints âMmm, this is lovelyâ She hummed contentedly.
âAnd the best part is that my family canât get through the thick overhang of bushes. At least not without breaking the trees to bits in the process,â Drake grinned, head resting back on the rock. âItâs the one place that is private on the entire island. Even in my house I often wake to find some relative or another looking in through my window, waiting for me to get up.â
Lorelei gave a soft peel of laughter, shaking her head slightly âYour family sound so⌠Endearing, I do look forward to getting to know them all, just as I look forward to getting to know youâ She hummed, a smile on her features as she closed her eyes and relaxed against the rocks behind her
"I think I could eat." he nodded, smiling

Oddi nuzzled his cheek again â⌠Love you Jason~â
"I love you, too, Oddi." he answered.
'Probably more than you know.'
Oddi continued to pet his hair before pulling away and looking over him âHow you feeling? You up for eating some chicken soup?â

Oddi pursed his lips, watching him carefully before looking down at the floor as he thought over his words â⌠So, Angel,â He began, saying his name as if testing it on his tongue â⌠Is there a reason you donât have âmany friendsâ that I should know of?â He questioned...
Oddi listened to his words quietly, watching over his features as he spoke seeking truth in his words and eyes and he found it. Though it was only a half truth. "... I see" He said eventually in a soft tone, sliding his hands into his pockets "... Well you're in luck, I believe in second chances and so I cannot deny you yours" He stated, a small smile appearing on his features "I may not be the best judge of character but I know when someone means me no harm... I'm glad you felt able to tell me the truth"
âOh, Iâm a dragon. Everyone here is,â Coira said with a smile , not thinking anything of that information. âI think I might be something else as well but Papa has never told me. Heâs the only parent Iâve ever known.â She wasnât sure if the fact that she only had Drake was one of the reasons her father secluded them from the rest of the world or not but it was the only life she knew and rarely questioned it.
Oddi blinked, looking surprised âI- Wow I really must be deadâ He mumbled softly, shaking his head gently âThis is unreal, would make sense for me to die in a plane crashâ He sighed gently, giving a soft whimper when he put too much weight on his bad leg âBut then I doubt Iâd feel so much pain if I were deadâ
âYou arenât dead,â Coira smiled. âAt least, I donât think so.

Drake raised a brow, wondering why she would even need to ask him that question until he realized that perhaps she worried about making him uncomfortable. âDoesnât matter to me,â he said with a smile. I usually donât wear anything but if you would prefer that I keep some clothing on, just say the word.â
A smile spread a cross Loreleiâs lips, perhaps her dragon was more daring than she thought âThen perhaps I shall take my shirt off as wellâ She chuckled, raising a hand and ruffling his hair with a fond smile âI have no problem with that dear, after you~â

Oddi gave a soft smile âIâm working in the hospital but Iâm training to become a GPâ He said happily
"A doctor?" he quirked an eyebrow, still smiling "thatâs admirable. I donât think I could do that."
Oddi gave a gentle shrug âI enjoy it a lot⌠Though it is a bit time consuming and It can tire me out sometimesâ He said softly, sliding his free hand into his pocket
"I think I can understand." he nodded "Itâs physically exhausting and time consuming to do what I do as well, though I donât presume to know exactly what you go through."
Oddi gave a soft chuckle "So, how old are you?" He questioned curiously, looking over him with a soft smile, not wanting to hazard a guess.
Making sure the man was stable enough, Coira began walking towards the house, thankful that it wasnât that far. She hoped the rest of the family would stay away but according to Papa they all knew to stay away from humans until he told them it was safe. Coira hoped that was the case.
âSo, are you a human?â she asked as they walked. âI donât know any humans but I like to read stories about them. They seem interesting.â
Oddi raised a brow, looking down at the girl in a perplexed manner âI-I think so?â He answered, looking over her for a moment before his curiosity got the better of him âIf you donât mind my asking Coira, if you arenât human, what are you?â

Oddi gave her a soft smile, using it to get to his feet, taking the weight off his right ankle and leaning on the stick, limping after the smaller girl and holding his free hand in to his body, looking after the gash on his shoulder âThank you, lead the wayâ
