Hey there!

You may call me Nero and this is my one and only blog for screaming about whatever I want to scream about.

I switch interests frequently, but some big reoccurring ones are the Thrawn books, Dark Souls/Bloodborne, BG3/Durgetash, Frostpunk and Elder Scrolls (especially Morrowind).

I also have a lot of love for all things horror in any of its forms (and on that note, this blog probably isn’t safe for minors)

Posting will likely be quite irregular (damn you chronic illness!)

I‘m also housebound and very bored so PLEASE don’t hesitate to send an ask/dm about anything at all, even if we have never interacted before :) I‘m a yapper and in desperate need of some nerds to yap with!!

My only defense of conceptual follower Benny is that he was a warrior nomad and a raider, that still has it in him if we take the All Roads comic into consideration, and how he is not like a real dainty soft hand city slicker, cause it’s mostly an act.

So in scenarios where he is forced to travel with the Courier I 100% think he’d be like “What do ya mean you can’t scale a mountain, pussycat? Watch how the pros do it.” And then you see him scuttle up a cliff face scarily fast only to have to save him when he bumps into a Cazador nest.

Solaire is fucked to be clear. Like you think because he’s upbeat and competent he’d be ok but in a place devoid of tangible goals, or any logic, he’d lose his fucking mind. a short selection of concepts and phrases that used to be commonplace in fandom and we’d really benefit from making that a thing again:

NOTP: the opposite of an OTP (One True Pairing). It is a ship a fan strongly dislikes. The word is a portmanteau of ‘no’ and ‘OTP’ and thus is not a contraction of any particular phrase.

Squick: anything that is a deep-seated, visceral turn-off. Squicks may be shared by many fans or be specific to one; one person’s kink may be another person’s squick.

YKINMKATO, or kink-tomato: Your Kink Is Not My Kink, And That’s Okay: used to indicate support for fannish diversity and to distinguish between disapproval or kink shaming and simply having different taste.

DLDR: Don’t Like, Don’t Read: a phrase used to warn against complaints about an aspect of fic or meta. A “live and let live” philosophy of fandom, which places the responsability for avoiding content one doesn’t want to see on the side of the fanwork consumer, rather that on the creator’s.

SALS: Ship And Let Ship: similar to the above specifically about shipping tastes.

YMMV: Your Mileage May Vary: a phrase used to acknowledge that any given individual’s personal opinion on the topic at hand may differ due to their own tastes, standards, values, experiences, etc.
