Intro post! Our system name is “the orchard!” System of 12. Online, everyone uses they/them pronouns and we have a color for our name and our sona. Our comics are here @orchardsys !!

I want to give a disclaimer before you send any asks.. we are not professionals, we’re just people trying to get by. We don’t know everything and are always learning and reading more about it!! If you send an ask that we cannot answer, we’ll most likely not answer it depending on the contents. We do enjoy asks about ourselves though (might even draw for some of them!)

Also we’re not involved in any type of syscourse… idgaf what your origin is you’re all welcome here!!

This probably isn’t needed but I feel like I should share.. we like reading comments. We don’t respond or interact with them, but we really like reading comments. So don’t be shy!!

I just realized I have a following here.i can spread my love for my random ass favorite character… but I shan’t. They’re mine

from one dog headmate to another, I'm curious if pine has anything special they like to do for species euphoria stuff!

Many things! We can’t do it as well as we used to but we liked to play outside a lot like a little animal.. we got in trouble a lot at school for play fighting with our friends

We have a little garden outside and they enjoy being out there too!

💛do you switch frequently or do you go longer periods between switching?

It happens usually once a day? I think the longest we’ve gone without a switch has been like 3 days but we also.live under a lot of stress.. I’m very curious how often our switches were when we were younger, because I think they’ve definitely gotten a whole lot worse.

I actually don’t know the most we’ve switched in a day but we’ve gone through like.. rapid switches during stress and panic? Like our mind is spinning a wheel trying to see who is best fit for this, so we’re shoved front and then ripped out of it immediately for the next guy

🟠how much amnesia do you experience?

Very little, it’s mostly emotional. We’ve used the video game analogy over and over but when we’re not front it’s like watching someone else play the game. So you’re like.. there, but not really paying much attention, then when you get handed the controller it’s like “wait refresh me on the level” or whatever.hashtag my life is like a video game godddd kill me

But we’ve also mentioned how we feel about past events, we don’t feel much about them, depending on who is front. Emotional amnesia is very interesting to me and I want to learn more about it..

We also have large memory gaps from our childhood. Anything before and around 7 years old is just a complete blur and many of the memories after that are just unpleasant and unconnected

🔵do you experience quick switches or does it take longer to switch usually?

I would say it’s 50/50? Quick switches are usually triggered by something happening and longer switches just happen when like.. we’re doing something a bit mindless like coloring or cleaning.

Most of the time when we quickly switch it’s from a negative trigger whatever that may be, but sometimes it’s not! I know Lilac comes out often when we see media she likes and Pine will come out when playing with the dogs.

Longer switches make us feel a bit blurry and usuallyyyy it’s whoever has been cofront for some time coming into front

Internal communication arrows.. dotted is unclear or just.me not really remembering, double sided arrows means both can communicate together when front, one side arrow means they can only front intrude them, and not the other way around. If there isn’t an arrow then there hasn’t been communication. But!! These can change in the future. I just made these for us but wanted to share

🟦do you have specific alters that cannot access headspace at all?

I forgot we had asks up, any asks about headspace will unfortunately be deleted because we do not have one! As far as I know?? I forgot to make that clear when we posted the questions but.technically the answer to this would be.all of us!!

I’m curious about something, I know with systems sometimes parts are unable to communicate with one another, but what about switching? Is it possible, for example, Part A being unable to switch to Part C? But can switch to Part B and Part D?

We do character adopts and it’s so funny because the style completely changes each character depending on the person who designed it LOLL like this
