how i headcanon jerry as a lover

i know this is SUUPER cringe, but he’s a main f/o of mine right now and this is very comforting for me :’) i don’t feel like making a new blog for this so i hope its okay for me to post this kind of thing here!

- jerry is a man who follows his own path and heart, thats shown in the movie when his heart is set on something hes SET on it, but it is obvious he has a soft spot, you can see that in the end of the movie, so as your lover i feel like your say also has a huge impact for him regarding decision making, your voice, your opinion, it does mean alot to him, YOU mean alot to him, its important he gets your view on things

- that being said i know this man thrives on praise like a puppy with a treat, this goes hand and hand when hes making decisions

- “what do you think of this though?? would this be a good idea? oh i had this one construction idea but i wanted to know what you thought”

- SUCH a gentle lover, he loves dancing with you in the kitchen to cheesy songs, he’ll make you breakfast with cute little details (awfully messy doodles made out of mapel, berries placed in order for presentation)

- he’ll make sure everythings in order for you so you dont need to stress, keeps check of your calendar, your appointments, your schedules.

- on the topic of schedules, he memorises your routine and builds his own around it, its just out of habit he never usually notices it but its often the little things (what time you usually sleep, your little habits throughout the day, etc)

- very touchy, during drives he’ll subconsciously caress your thigh with his free hand or reach for yours, he loves playing with your hair while youre busy working on something, and he LOOOOVES cuddling in bed dont even argue with me on this one this man is a CUDDLER, not to mention a space heater!! this man has MAD body heat and warm hands!!

- it wont appear or show audibly, but he often craves that hint of reassurance, validation from you, despite his status and happy life he does seem like a guy that questions his worth at some points, he needs that grounding, that soft care and reassurance to remind him that you love him

- silly small arguments over small things, its never too serious its always like “okay well I obviously think its white-“ “THE NIGHTSTAND IS LITERALLY A SUPER LIGHT PINK” “ITS WHITE JERRY!!”

- stupidly corny nicknames an petnames, he’ll dote on you and call you “lovebug”, “honeypie”, “love of my life” (<— never let this man learn how to properly use emojis, your contact name will be “my sweetpea 🩷🩷💕🥴☀️💕”)

- SO excited to introduce you to his momma, his moms approval is very important to him and to see you interact with her means SO very much to him!!

- his phone is filled with various photos of the two of you, his wallpaper and lockscreen has you as well, this man is devoted and makes sure you know that every day and night.

i know my variation of jerry is a little ooc compared to canon but jerry being such a soft lover is special to me, everyone can have their own view on him!

nothing drastic, mainly wanted to un-squish him. since he's based on the superliner mk2s, i looked up some cool sleeper cabs for reference:

elongated his hood+sleeper+wheelbase and added some details back in like hood latches+more blindspot mirrors+airhorn+antennae+More rivets (they smoothed out his rivets on his cars 3 character model?? and i can never unsee it??)

i also looked up what kind of motor he'd likely have and its probably the E9 which is apparently indestructible and crazy on hills. one of the ones truck ppl love (i dont know much about diesel motors). so thats why he's got unlimited mileage /lh (<i bet his maintenance is craaazy)
