Not being able to wear a mask or cover my face is a huge source of dysphoria for me. Even if the mask, if an animal of sorts, doesn't resemble me at all. Even something like a mask used in medical settings helps a good bit.

I wish wearing masks or face coverings in general was more socially acceptable than it is now. One thing I do miss about the COVID pandemic was mandatory face coverings.

Inspired by some mutuals, I've decided to try going by an ID number again as an additional 'name' of sorts.

Believe it or not I've tried this before, but I was completely flamed for it back in 2021-2022. Something about it mocking victims of trauma? I'm not entirely sure and I don't particularly care anymore.

I often wonder if my freakish nonhuman self is why I struggle to make connections with humans. I'm quite literally a monster down to a biological level. Humans feeling off about me wouldn't be something unexpected. Even in a group of my human friends who theoretically care lots about me, I still feel isolated. Do they care about me, or the persona I show for social media?
