I’m back.

It’s 3 in the morning and I should be sleeping by now. I just thought of Tumblr and for a second, I found myself here, typing this. I’ve been uninspired to blog about stuff. I just don’t felt the need to blog about what’s happening with my life, if that makes sense. Today marks out 6th monthsary and my boyfriend is already sleeping while I’m writing on my bujo. I’ve been itching to go out but no one wants to come with me. It’s kinda sad. Tomorrow is Christmas! Time flies so fast. So, how are you guys?

How I started my online business: peppermint.ph

I really wanted to have an online shop since I entered college. I did small business before when I was a kid like selling stickers, papers with cute border designs, and even honey (commonly known as pulot in the Philippines).

I started with the username sophisticatedstylesph last 2014. I used my first android phone, Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 to take pictures of the clothes I’m selling. From taking pictures of clothes hanging on a wall to flatlays. Sadly, I deleted old pictures on my IG feed so people won’t comment if it’s still available which is obviously not, because it was posted weeks or months ago.

Fashion changes over time. Basic clothes became a trend. From colorful to neutral colors. So I decided to change the username to baesic.apparel since I started selling bags and shoes as well. I wanted to have my own clothing line someday. See, I have lots of dreams. So I wanted to think of a brand which can be easily remembered by people.

I changed my username again to peppermint.ph. It makes me really glad that most of my customers always wait for my new collection! Business is somehow stressful such as dealing with stubborn people who do not follow rules e.g. rush shipping, pay today ship today, exchange of orders, and the list goes on. Sometimes, people threaten me that they will have my shop closed just because I posted them as bogus buyers.

Nonetheless, I love clothes hunting! It relieves my stress because clothes are cute and I can’t help not to buy one for myself as well.
