Sonic took off on command, appearing almost at once in the night zone of Chu-Nan. “Be careful Chip, I don’t want anything bad happening to you, especially now.” Sonic took a step forwards when out of nowhere a winged figure loomed over them, flying past them and landing on it’s perch. “Woah! What’s that?” Sonic eyed what seemed to be a giant bird who looked back at him with the same curiosity.

Chip’s jaw dropped as the creature whizzed past them, “I don’t know but…m-maybe it’s friendly?” Chip asked with a nervous laugh, subconciously moving behind Sonic a little to peek around his shoulder.

By then the bird shot Chip a glance, then stepping forwards it let out another cry, one that told the both of them that the bird was no where near friendly. “Uh-oh. Looks like someone’s not happy.” Setting Chip aside in a safe place, Sonic turned to face the giant Gaia Phoenix, ready to fight the ferocious creature. “Alright, let’s go feather brain!”
