The Court of Thieves is a Linkshell community comprised of criminal roleplayers located on Balmung in the Crystal Data Center! The main goal of the Court of Thieves is to secure a place within the world as a sort of āThievesā Havenā ā with eyes carefully watching the ongoing conflict between the Alliance and the Empire.Ā
Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, they have defended the refugees and indenturedāleft to rot within the city while the rich only grow richerātime and time again while seeking solutions that could ignite the fires within the people and stand with them as they rise up.Ā
Known famously for their bombing of three record offices in Ulādah, their efforts wiped the debts out of dozens of indebted servants, freeing them from the Bloodsands and forced labor in one single move. No single person was apprehended for these bombings, but the custom coins left behind on the scene, with a single skull in a crown on itās face were very telling of the true culprits.
The Coin & Crown Pawn Shop - A seedy shop run by even shadier people, located in the Mists of La Noscea. Anything you want or need, sold at the right price in one easy stop. Items and relics and tools and tech, everything has a priceāincluding the services of the Thieves holed up there. Above the shop is the Thieveās Den, a hangout and resting area known by any within the Underground as a safe haven for the weary, the beds are open to any, and violence against another thief there is forbiddenā¦ unless youāre below on the last floor. There, an open bar remains with warm food and inviting drinksāas well as an arena in the middle to get those bar fights out of oneās system. A betting counter is available to those spectating, and breakable chairs are available to those participating in the ring.
The Mirage - A massive Black Market venue in the deep deserts of Thavnair, difficult to reach unless one has an invitation, it houses the most notorious and coveted of goodsāwell worth the risk of oneās life to get there. Home to an immensely powerful Daeva and his ever loyal Jackals, it is perhaps the most guarded and sanctified place within the Court of Thievesā grasp. A VIP lounge overlooks the market for those who are friends of the King of Thieves himself, any form of coin or bartering is allowed though violence for the sake of violence will be put to rest swiftly. Those causing trouble within the Mirage will find themselves in the middle of the treacherous desert sands, alone and left to wander.
