September.
September means classes and books and homework. It means essays and all-nighters and energy drinks.
September means Quidditch starts again.
So, what does September really mean?
September means a fresh start.
It means everyone starts at undefeated...

True Story.
Quinsomnia
Quinsomnia: The inability to fall asleep, due to Quidditch-related thoughts racing through the head.
“I’ve been thinking so much about the UK Summer Games that I’ve had really bad quinsomnia”
Vassar College hosted their IV Annual Butterbeer Classic on April 14th. The teams consisted of the Vassar, Ithaca, Skidmore, Chestnut Hill, UMass, and RPI. The Classic an entire day of Quidditch. The tournament started with a pool play, which resulted into the single elimination. Vassar won the tournament, with UMass in 2nd, Ithaca in 3rd, RPI in 4th, Skidmore in 5th, and Chestnut Hill in 6th. After the tournament, the teams still hung around, playing dodge ball and ninja.
I didn’t know this gif existed but I LOVE IT!
that’d be because i just finished it, like, 5 minutes ago. my bad if that wasn’t clear <.<
I wasn’t sure if it was new or I had just overlooked it at some point because sometimes I miss things and see it really late so yeah…but its awesome!
Glad you like it!
and um… you’re awesome!
Reason # 389 Why Quidditch Rocks:
Quidditch is like the center of a giant venn diagram. Sitting in the middle of all the fandoms, you can probably find at least one other person who likes 95% of the same things as you.
Quidstock postponed?!
Until Fall 2013?!?!
But
I won’t be playing for Vassar anymore. I’ll have graduated
I won’t have a team yet (probably) because I have no idea where I’ll be working/what community teams will be available.
…
Join the Skrewts!!
If I end up in the area afterwards SURE WAY JOSE. That is a thing gringos say right? I think it is.
There are people out in the world looking for community teams. Any that you find--or create--are sure to be great. And if you come to Chicago, we're here for ya!
USA! USA!
I’m in the right House baby, I was sorted this way!
Chicago's Windy City Wizards is holding a photo competition for Quidkids and muggles alike!
Think of it as "planking," except now you're leaping into the air in the best, most creative or funny way you can think of. You can tweet the pic to us @ChiTownWizards, tumble it under #chicagoquidditch. All pictures have to be tagged with the Wizards' facebook page, because the number of likes per picture is the number of votes!
We'll pull a winner (the more pictures, the more often we'll pull winners) and send you a free pound of coffee or tea (completely free. You don't even have to pay for postage)!
So grab your friends, grab a camera and let your imagination run wild!
Ready? Brooms up!
I completed this baby a few weeks ago, but I love looking back at the pictures of the process.
My kids in 2040: You mean Quidditch wasn’t always a real sport? Me: I was born in dark times, young ones, very dark times.

Live in Chicago? Check out our Meetup page at Meetup.com/Windy-City-Quidditch. I hear the wind kinda helps with making you feel like you're flying.
