In The Wee Free Men, Terry Pratchett described the concept of first sight and second thoughts.
First sight is the ability to see what's actually there, rather than what you expect to see.
Second thoughts are thoughts about what you're thinking - why are you thinking this way? Are these thoughts reasonable or not?
Both of these are extremely crucial in critical thinking and resisting undue influence.

Sneeze on Monday, sneeze for danger. Sneeze on Tuesday, sneeze for a stranger. Sneeze on Wednesday, sneeze for a letter. Sneeze on Thursday, sneeze for something better. Sneeze on Friday, sneeze for sorrow. Sneeze on Saturday, see your sweetheart tomorrow.
Because I absolutely love joan_de_art’s sustainable city series I’mma share it in one post since I see the art scattered about.
