Hey all.

You may have noticed that I never posted an announcement about Chlodine Week for 2025. Unfortunately, this year has been very tough. I spent most of the early summer looking for a job, and the last several weeks getting used to a new one. By the time August rolled around, there just wasn’t enough time to reasonably expect anyone to participate, even if I came up with ideas.

I’m not ruling out the possibility for Chlodine Week in 2026, but it definitely wasn’t going to work out this year. I apologize about that. Maybe instead of art, fics, or edits, tell me your favorite thing about Chlodine. Or your fondest memories of being in the fandom. Replay the game and post some pics.

Anyway, at the very least, I’m not letting you all forget that Friday is the 8th anniversary of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy! It’s almost a decade old now (holy fucking crap). So on August 22, go celebrate in your own way. And tell me why you still love it, if you’d like!

Hiya! I hope things are going better for you now, and that you're able to calm down and not stress as much! I was wondering- all these years I've had an idea for a fic and never wrote it because I can't write Chloe. Well now it may be too late but maybe you know someone active in the Fandom willing to write Chloe?;

I do not, unfortunately. But it’s never too late to write something that inspires you. The only thing I can recommend is to play the games again if it’s been a while, or watch a playthrough with Chloe’s scenes to find her voice. When I was more active, I would even watch old interviews with Claudia Black to get a sense of her voice when she’s off-script.

Or maybe someone here will see this and be interested. Not sure if that helps.

Hey! Just saw your post about Chlodine Week 2026 - sorry that things have been tough for you recently and I really hope things settle down for you soon. I know the feeling and it's exhausting -- just wanted to say you've been a rock for this fandom for the last few years! we'll all be here forever (well i definitely will be bc i still cant stop thinking about them years later) and there's no pressure to deliver every year ♥ hope life treats you well and all the love of course! x

Thanks so much for your kind words! I’ve tried doing my part to keep this fandom alive over the years, but it’s definitely a group effort keeping the art and stories going. Some have moved on to other things, and that’s understandable and normal. Hopefully the environment will be better next year or in future years to keep Chlodine Week going. I hope life is treating you well, also! ♥️💙

Didn't finish Day 5, but it will be posted eventually because I am OBSESSED with this concept. But after fighting with ideas, for Chlodine Week Day 5 AU I decided on

Bound (1996).

Chloe Frazer, ex con, thief, grease monkey, well known to the ladies who keeps lock picks as earrings; Nadine Ross involved in organized crime mostly against her will, sleeping with men as "work". The two fuck over an unhinged criminal and run away together with the cash? Um yes please.

Also featuring Rafe as Johnny, Asav as Caesar and Sully as Mickey.

This little comic falls into the Humor / Banter theme for the 20th. I'm 2 days late 😥.

Potholes have evolved into water pits of doom 😓 so I thought it'd be humorous to have Chloe walk into one and then pull Nadine into too, so there are both soaked.

Special thanks to everyone who popped into my streams while I brought this comic to life. Thank you NylaDragonzAlt & TheNewChiefScientist for your suggestions, it really added to the humor.

Chlodineweek Day 3: "Trust/Teamwork"

The Star represents the renewal and continuation of life after the upheaval and/or trauma of the Tower. Instead of wastefully pouring out water, Nadine is collecting it. She eschews her uniform for a light and comfortable shweshwe dress.

She's so comfortable she's even going barefoot! A nice break from those stiff and probably pinching boots.

Nadine's the type to always carry the water purification tablets from MREs and have spare water and fuel in jerrycans on every journey. Because life IS a journey. Losing your father's company might have been the catalyst that course-corrected you to a path that you didn't even know you turned away from, a long time ago, to make him happy. Your passion for learning, your interest in wildlife, even discovering hobbies you always wanted to try. Like Chloe asks, "What's next for Nadine Ross?"

It would have been so easy to use Strength or The Emperor to represent Nadine, at the risk of typecasting or masculinizing her character to an excess. I went through so many drafts of other options, like the 8 of Cups or Three of Swords (my loml deserves to be in the major arcana!), and on top of that, this hardly represents day 3's theme at all. Turns out it's hard to depict a complex character in one tarot card! And there is a limit to how many themes one woman can pack into an illustration!
