don't you just love this level of attention to detail? my royal nemesis, not to jinx it but i'm starting to think you're not going to let me down at all...
the most useless useful guide in the world
a big issue with current day kdramas it that most of them are pre-produced fully to help with costs and airing schedules as there are less slots for dramas to air on and things are more pricey with less returns, but back in the day when a kdrama was a big hit while on air, they used to extend it by 1-2 episodes in real time and tack on a special at the end. it was like a fun gift for the drama being a success and usually these episodes weren't even plot important they were just extra bonus content they could throw in since they filmed and aired almost simultaneously.
nowadays, a drama could be trending everywhere and be crazy popular but the channel will be forced to not add more episodes and air the short 12-14 episode run because they literally filmed this all half a year ago and the cast have all moved on. it really really sucks and i blame streamers like netflix for everything once again since they buy the streaming rights before and have a set episode count for the transaction
My Royal Nemesis / 멋진 신세계 (2026) | Season 1, Episode 13 | Heo Nam-Jun as Cha Se-Gye and Lim Ji-yeon as Shin Seo-ri
“I am not going back. I have returned to where I belong.”
i'm sorry to the mentally sane, but angsty scenes like these will always appeal to me more than the most romantic scenes
MY ROYAL NEMESIS - 멋진 신세계 (2026)
• This chemistry. 🥹🤍🧡
*Chef's kiss*💋🤏🏾✨️
Everyone’s going gaga (understandably) over the wrist kiss in ep6 but here I am overwhelmed by Se-gye’s sadness & disappointment at Seo-ri’s initial rejection that I could barely compute the kiss that came 10secs later.
Heo Nam-jun’s micro expression is crazy good, no big facial movements but I could feel every bit of Se-gye’s rollercoaster emotions.
Offering his heart on a platter (again) to Seo-ri, soft, tentative eyes.
No one is crying here, but I felt like my heart got stabbed.
You grabbed me first.

You and me for the next hundred years. A hundred years? I want a thousand. Ten thousand. You're not going anywhere now. - My Royal Nemesis (dramas 2026)
