I'm sorry if any interactions with me have made anyone here uncomfortable or genuinely angry. I know I've likely hurt or upset people with how I act and I don't want that and my tendency to act immature in situations to affect people in an extremely negative way, and I am truly genuinely sorry to anyone that has been severely negatively affected by me.
I know this is vague and kinda out of nowhere for people seeing this, but if you are upset from something I've said or done towards you and feel the need to be heard, feel free to speak up in asks (anon should be on) or on this post any time. I have extreme anxiety so I may poof for a while again after this, but I will see it and will respond to it when I'm ready to.

a few important things i should mention because the OP uploaded the screenshots of the actual announcement without clarifying
this is actually just the Video Quests feature from the desktop client. it's where you can earn rewards by watching a video. there's banners and stuff advertising the Quests and it's a bit obtrusive. yes, it sucks on PC and WILL suck on mobile.
BUT!!! there IS a way to opt out of these ads for Discord's Quests feature
to get rid of pretty much all of these ads for Quests, there's an option under Data & Privacy (subsection "How Discord uses your data") that you can switch off so that you can avoid seeing these ads. this setting is available on both the desktop and mobile clients, i turned it off and i don't get any ads for quests at all, or at least not many
yes, this shit fucking sucks and y'all should probably continue to speak up about it, but also let's not forget that we can just choose not to see that shit lol

Today, I am sharing a glimpse of our new life, where we have started again beside our home that was destroyed by war. Despite the pain and loss, we have not lost hope, and our determination to build a better future for our children remains unshaken.
This Tumblr house we now live in is not just walls—it is a testament to our resilience and to the love and support of everyone who has stood by us. You have always been a community full of kindness and generosity, and today, I share these moments so you can see how the light continues to shine in our hearts despite everything.

But life here is still very difficult. We are still trying to stay strong, and we have built a simple shelter to live in—I will attach photos. We are waiting for the border to open so we can travel, hoping for the day when I can see my children wearing school uniforms, going to learn, playing in safe, undamaged places, eating clean food, and drinking safe water.
For now, we are just trying to survive with what little we have, as the border remains closed to everyone except those with severe medical conditions and critical war injuries.

. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living
, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble.

We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times,
and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money.
