Despite her traveling all over, Kaitmera has still some things she forgets about these dungeons: one of these is checking for traps. But most of them are just poison anyway, and that never bothered her too much. Other traps, the mechanical ones especially, are more of a problem, to detect and disarm.

Second thing, and that comes to mind only when Gorin has gone and unhinged the doors, is that she does have a warhammer with her. A sturdy one too. It weighs on her back, along with her pack.

But she is glad she's with someone who will so promptly help her. At times she still feels like the naïve and scared girl who ran from home more than a decade ago, but luckily she can lean on others now.

She clutches the key she found close to her chest after seeing Gorin's friendly face and heard his worried voice. She, cautiously, steps out of the closet with a timid smile on her face, "I'm fine... Thank you."

She looks back at the closet. At the hinges. Then she looks back and up at Gorin, "Should we repair it?"

“ oh. ” gorin's face scrunches up as he takes in the sorry state of the closet, cringing at the damage. he plants both hands on his hips, nodding slowly while he assesses what he's just done.

“ i mean, i could repair it. ” there's a hint of pride behind his words. give the cleric a handful of nails and a hammer and he can work miracles. it wouldn't be the first thing he'd broken, after all; his caretakers back at the lathander monastery had made sure he knew how to fix what his big size and clumsiness inevitably ruined. some habits die hard, as they say.

“ ... but then the bad guys would be able to trap it again, so i think we should actually leave it like this. ” the half-orc exhales through his nose. one thing is being kind, another is being foolish. as much as it pains him to do ... anyone a disservice, these people are actively harming others to hide items that don't even belong to them in the first place ! perhaps, when the threat has been neutralized, he can spare a thought for poor wardrobe and give it back a few more years of usefulness.
