Random Thought

Lately I've been trying to come up with an idea for Shoot em up that is like a cross between Salamander/Lifeforce, Einhander, Raycrisis, and Ikaruga.

The idea is that there are eight elements, Water, Fire, AIr, Earth, Tech, Forest, Light, and Darkness.

Water beats Fire, Air beats Earth, Light beats Darkness, and Tech beats Forest.

But Fire also beats Water, Earth beats Air, Darkness beats Light, and Forest beats Tech.

Also instead of the levels being only one element they both an element and the opposite element so you have a Water and Fire level, An Air and Earth level, A Light and Dark level, and a Tech and Forest level.

Not only that but each level is split into two halves a horizintal scrolling section and a vertical scrolling section.

And you woud have both front facing lasers, and homing lasers.

There would also be enemies that first appear in the background but then move to the foreground that you can shoot with your homing lasers when theyre still in the background.
