While it seemed like a lifetime ago since he lived such a lifestyle, he recalls everything he’d been taught since he was a young boy; a means to survive in any situation. And since he did not fancy the place he’d been graciously given, he took to living in a more familiar setting. Auburn was this woodlands name and though it’s plant life was in abundance he makes an attempt to draw out any of its mammal inhabitance. While he was only granted a wooden spear at this time, he was still able to craft snares and the like from the materials around him. But he hadn’t expected to almost capture a woman who’d perhaps been drawn in by curiosity as he had a few days ago. Luckily she had her wits about her and easily dodged the trap laid out, brandishing a wooden knife.
“Stay your blade, I mean no harm” unless harm befell him he wasn’t the sort to purposely seek a fight unless it meant protecting another or was simple sparring. His call resounds from above, there he sits across a sturdy branch high into a tree; looking below and deciding if he should close the distance between them or not. “I should thank you, at least now I’m aware that it works,” he jests in an attempt to break any tension felt. “Forgive me, at least you are unharmed” he quickly adds in case she wasn’t the sort to see the humorous side to it all, as he was considerate if nothing else.
A sole nearly planted atop the trap that was laid out, concealed on the ground by the work of fallen leaves. The most primitive way of surviving and she nearly fell under its capture. As she quicky evades, her wooden knife was brandished, very much useless comparing to its original display. That was far too close, she thought.
The voice was a succesful attempt of catching her off guard. Head shifted upwards to trace of such source, averting from one spot to another until she finally discovered him. A man sits, by his side was his wooden lance. Through a first glance alone and she could tell the man suffered the same fate as her, to receive a substitution of their original equipment. Strangely enough, he chose the primitive lifestyle despite the provided facilities, and to a more larger extent, was given a place to stay and yet...
“Yeah, you’re welcome. Congrats on nearly making me your dinner.” The statement ended up being sarcastic than how it was originally planned. “You do know there’s a city here and you chose to roam around this... place.”
