Honestly, I feel like I have to keep saying this but again, if people can not handle my muse being mean to their character, I don't recommend following this blog. It's literally called bullybunny. Jax is a mean muse, and if your character starts something with him, he will double down.

This is not ME disliking you, or hating your character, this is just my muse, doing his jackass muse things

Is it OK to turn asks/silly comments into threads?

Hey, so I'm being very self conscious about everything so if you could just hit the like button, leave a comment, whatever you fancy. This'll just tell me that it's OK to turn any asks I send to you or silly comments you make on my posts, or even dash commentary things, into little threads. I feel very annoying lately so I'm taking a step back so I don't feel like I'm trying to force interactions that aren't really there or interesting.

Alright, I think it's been long enough, so I do think I gotta say something that I feel like is needed to say within the community

Y'all, whenever canon does something that you don't like, y'all can complain and change and diverge things as you please, that's what's having the freedom of RP is for, that we can do whatever we want with these dolls

But maybe we shouldn't just keep going for instant vitriol against Viv directly, insulting her, and slamming her over her AND her team's writing choices with the show. Ultimately, these are her characters, and she's free to write them how she wants.

We're just people rping with them. Y'all don't gotta like her, I'm someone who is neutral with her, but I think it's really bad how constantly people keep going to insulting her entire person over things, it's like--chill guys. Chill. The vibes here get hostile, and I can only imagine how things are going to be next week.

I have never been in any fandom where this has been a constant issue, and it does hurt an otherwise, amazing rpc when this keeps happening, when I know most of you guys are nice people that seeing such stuff said about her over the writing choices be giving me some whiplash

Also I wanna say this--since this is kind of an ongoing problem for like, any series that has something currently releasing

Anytime canon like does something that like affects the way you write your muse, rather by the character doing something that would be ooc for your portrayal, or you know--them getting killed off

Canon divergence / Canon AU is absolutely fine. I feel like people sometimes get too stuck on being as canon as possible, that when canon does something different, they feel lost, or angry about what those changes will do for what they've written

And guys. This is RP. This is a non-canon space to begin with, where we put characters in situations that aren't canon whatsoever. Y'all just gotta focus on having fun. You can take canon in, or do something else, but canon shouldn't define what you write to the point where it handicaps your creativity/muse. We must break free of that mindset

Ooc update: I'm still back and forth on how much time & energy I want to put into being on here, but tentatively off hiatus and figuring things out on the ic front as far as a few of Belle's connections go

Transparently, part of the problem I've been running into for like a year or so now is that her 'voice' has felt increasingly muffled while I've been deferring to others as far as her direction goes. And that's sucked! I love this freak, she's been my main writing fixation for over a decade and I hate feeling like she's become sort of stagnant and uninteresting to me and to the people I write with. The most fun I have with rp is when I get to explore mutually impactful stories and relationships in depth with whoever I'm writing with. I'm working on getting better at reaching out to new people with that at the forefront But if you vibe with that same thing and want to hold hands and play tuoys with me I'd be so stoked to hear from you!

I made an ooc blog too because it's MUCH easier to keep lore straight and gives a good avenue for para stuff and ooc discussion that's felt more disruptive/awkward on here: @createdestroyrepeat

Last thing I prommy: I don't mind if people follow me just to lurk and see what's going on, but if you follow and never interact except to reblog aesthetics/memes from me I'm likely going to softblock. It suuuucks to get notifications and 99% of them are just impersonal aesthetic mining. [edit to add: this doesn't mean you aren't welcome to reblog stuff from me, this is the reblogging website. Only the mun of said muse can decide for the drama of Lestat finding well hidden information out seeing as Lestat is not the type to go digging into her past or even inquire to find her secrets. It's a plot point of @gothamsjestersiren so please anon be a little more respectful to my RP partner and let us get to revelations naturally.

I love prying anons, I love crack anons, I love anons causing drama but let's keep in mind what the average person would know and what we know cause we have a god's eye view of their bios.
