This is my first attempt to write a fanfic, so be gentle with me. I am also from Norway, so sorry if there is some bad grammar in there.Â

Summary: When Cheryl and Toni are paired up for a school project things take quite a turn.Â
The first period had started. Cheryl sat in the back of the classroom with her dark red notebook propped open. Her neatly written notes were written in red ink, and if you looked closely you could see one of her biggest secrets written in one of the corners of the page. Two letters inside a red heart. TT, aka Toni Topaz, had become one of Cheryl's new enemies, or so everyone thought. Cheryl could not admit to anyone that she had a crush on one of the southside scum, but there was something about this pink-haired girl that made Cheryl feel all fuzzy inside.
As she sat in the back of the classroom staring at the tiny heart at the corner of her page their science teacher walked in. He started the class with a quick hello. Cheryl didn't pay any attention to the facts the teacher wrote up on the blackboard. Her eyes were fixated on the back of Toni Topaz. The pink hair cascades down her back beautifully, and Cheryl couldn't help it but be mesmerized by the combination of her natural brown hair colour and the pink hair colour. It intertwined perfectly, and there was a beautiful balance.
âThis week you´ll be working in pairs of two. The pairs are as follows;â Cheryl heard the faint voice of the science teacher, but her eyes didnât leave Toni´s hair.
"Topaz and Blossom!" Cheryl snapped out of her trance-like state has she heard her name. She looked at the teacher in disbelief. She couldn't be working with Toni Topaz. What would people say? Cheryl lifted her hand to object, but the teacher had already understood what she was going to say.
âNot this time Cheryl, these pairs are final.â He said and went back to reading up the next pairs. Toni turned over to Cheryl and gave a playful smirk. Cheryl didnât know what to feel. The anger she felt towards the Southside was so pure and harsh, but the feelings she felt for Toni was getting stronger. She rolled her eyes to Toni, but she could feel her cheeks getting warmer.
As their teacher read up the last two names, people started scattering all over the classroom to start working with their partners. Toni walked over to the back were Cheryl sat gazing out the window, trying to look unbothered by the pairing of the two.
"Looks like we're stuck together, Bombshell," Toni said and sat down on the chair beside Cheryl. Cheryl looked over at her trying to look like she would like to have been paired with anyone else, which was a lie.
âWhatever, queen of the buskers.â She said snarky and looked over at the blackboard.
"Are these your notes?" Toni picked up the notebook and started going through the notes before Cheryl could snap it away.
âYes, and you keep your nose out of them.â Cheryl shut the notebook and shoved it back into her purse. Toni looked at her playfully. Cheryl swore to every god there was, that for a slight second she had looked at her mouth.
âWho is TT?â Cherylâs heart fell to her stomach, and her cheeks became as red as her lipstick.
âNone of your businesses, serpent scum.â Cheryl snapped at her.
âAll right, bombshell. Forget I ever asked.â Toni said and opened the science book.
The rest of the first period went by with the two of them reading silently from the chapter they had been assigned. Cheryl was still blushing when the bell rang. Toni started packing her stuff up, but Cheryl didn't move. She wouldn't be seen leaving with that serpent.
"Here is my number, we should probably get together at your house to finish the project." Toni slid a piece of paper over the table. Even her handwriting was perfect, Cheryl thought to herself.
âYou can come over tonight at six. Mother is out of the house, and I donât think she would appreciate me bringing some Southside hag into the house.â Her mother was out of town with one of her clients for the weekend. Cheryl wanted to vomit even at the thought of her motherâs âjobâ.
"Works for me. See you then Bombshell." Toni winked and walked out of the classroom with another serpent. Cheryl couldn't help it but feel a little excited for the evening to come. Â
Toni pulled up to Thistlehouse at around six thirty. She had been delayed at work, because of a bar fight between Jughead and sweet pea. The two had started fighting over who was better at Pacman, and that had led to a few punches between the two. No surprise, Sweet Pea had won, leaving Jughead in a choke hold which Toni had to pry open.
Cheryl was standing in one of the windows watching the pink-haired girl, dismounting her bike. Even though she was quite tiny it was like her confidence made her ten times taller. There was a knock on the door and Cheryl sprinted down the stairs before she could get a grip on herself. She wouldnât seem desperate, so she counted to ten before opening the door. Toni was wearing her serpent jacket, a flannel one of those tops that made Cheryl lose her breath.
âYou´re late.â She said sternly trying to cover the anticipation of spending an evening with the serpent girl.
"There was a situation at the White Wyrm." Cheryl rolled her eyes and stepped aside letting the serpent enter. Toni took off her jacket making Cheryl lose her breath. How could one person be so hot in a flannel shirt?
"This place is huge," Toni said in awe as she looked around the halls. Cheryl couldn't help it but smile. The smile Toni had on her face was too cute for Cheryl to even comprehend it.
âThen you should have seen Thornhill, it was twice the size of Thistlehouse.â Cheryl stood beside Toni looking at her intently. She was fascinated with, something was different with these feelings. It was the type of feelings she had towards Heather. Toni´s eyes quickly drifted towards the family portrait of the Blossom family.
âIs that your brother?â Toni pointed towards Jason, and a sudden sadness hit Cheryl. Of course, she had been thinking about her brother ever since he died, but she hadnât clearly looked at the family portrait in months.
She stood in silence, her eyes fixated on Jason's face. A single tear fell on her cheek and every bad experience came back to her. the day at the river, when she had come face to face with death itself and the never-ending torment of her mother's wrath. She felt her knees giving in and fell to the floor, crying. Toni turned around to look at Cheryl. When she saw her on the floor her instinct was to comfort the redheaded beauty. She sat down next to her and put a comforting arm around her.
Cheryl curled up in Toni´s arms. She felt safe there. Safe for the first time since Jasonâs death. The only thing she needed was to sit with Toni until the pain disappeared.
âDo you want to go to the couch or something?â Toni asked, still holding her hands around the crying girl. Cheryl nodded, and with the help of Toni the two of them got up from the floor. They sat down on the couch, Cheryl was still crying, and Toni still had her arm around her.
âI´m sorry if I upset you. I didnât mean toâ Cheryl looked over at Toni. She couldnât help it but get lost in the brown eyes of the beauty she sat next to. She didnât say anything, but somehow Toni understood that she would be okay.
They sat on that couch for an hour or so. Cheryl had curled up against Toni, not crying anymore, but just taking in Toni´s presence. Toni's hand stroked through the red hair that she had become so fond of the last weeks.
âCan I tell you something?â Toni asked. Cheryl looked at her, and the air between them shifted ever so slightly.
âWhat?â Cheryl had regained her ability to speak.
"I actually was extremely happy when we got paired together," Toni said, and a hint of red emerged in her cheeks. Cheryl´s heart jumped up into her throat, and all she could do was to look at Toni with a puzzled look.
"I have actually had a crush on you for the last three weeks, and when I saw the heart with my initials I hoping the feelings were mutual," Toni said and looked at Cheryl. This time Cheryl was certain that Toni´s gaze had fallen on her lips. Toni moved closer to Cheryl and the two of them locked lips.
At first, Cheryl was stiff and sat there in a state of shock. When Toni pulled away she looked at Cheryl hoping to get some sort of warmth from her.
âWas that okay?â She asked. Cheryl didnât answer right away, and Toni turned her head away and looked at the empty fireplace.
"That was more than okay, TT," Cheryl said and Toni looked back at her. The two of them locked lips once more, and this time the kiss was deep and long.
The two of them didn't do much school work that evening. They just sat on the couch talking, and by morning Toni had to get going since she had a shift at the White Wyrm. Cheryl watched the serpent drive away from Thistlehouse and thought to herself that maybe the serpents wasn't as bad as she had made them put to be.
I have been following Riverdale since they started and I have watched even when they started going downhill a bit. Donât get me wrong I love what they have been doing in the last episodes, but then there is one thing that makes me really pissed; all the Choni cuts.
Now, I have been shipping Choni since they met, and then they get content. YEAY! They really helped with picking up the series. I cannot stress how fantastic it was to watch to strong women in a relationship. But then the CW decided that they were gonna cut a couple of scenes. In recent days it has come forth some rumours about how many scenes got cut. If these rumours are true (and I believe they are) that means they have cut almost all of the Choni scenes.
I have been sitting on these thoughts for to long, and with only Varchie shippers as friend, I never get to unfold all of the resentment. Thatâs why I am here.
When I hear the Varchie shippers talking about their injustice with scenes getting cut, I literally want to throw a chair at them.
THE CHONI FANS HAVE BEEN TREATED WITH INJUSTICE, AND STILL THE CW DECIDE TO CUT EVEN MORE.
