#Bellamy “No, I look at everyone like this” Blake❁◕ ‿ ◕❁ [Clarke’s Verison]
The 100 (s1-s6): a shi-fi show that focuses on humanity and how far humans can go in order to survive or save the people they love. It shows the worst of humanity but also the best, with the hope that humans can ultimately change and do better/be the good guys. Clarke Griffin is the hero of the story and the main character. Bellamy Blake is also the hero of the story and the second main character. Bellarke is the central relationship of the show, they're the head and the heart, saving humanity together.
The 100 (s7): Clarke Griffin is sidelined for the majority of the season and then villainized because apparently she was 'never really the hero'. Bellamy Blake is also sidelined for ten episodes, then villainized, then killed off in the most disrespectful yet underwhelming way possible. Bellarke suddenly doesn't matter (both as a relationship and as humanity's leaders) and Clarke can just kill Bellamy over a book with no consequences whatsover. Finally, it shows that humanity is terrible and selfish, and is never going to change. There's no hope to do better so the best possible outcome is that everybody 'transcends' to a place that isn't much different from the CoL, and the human race goes entirely extinct. :)

*WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
Honestly, I haven’t been able to bring myself to say anything about this season.
This show meant a lot to me ( as it did to all of us ) and to see it just turn into whatever shitstorm it’s become is so disheartening.
The characters? Unrecognizable. And the amount of trauma endured by most of them - I don’t know how any of them are still functioning humans.
Clarke will never be able to live a happy life at this point. Was that what the writers wanted? The message they want to send?
Yes, it’s a show about survival, but in reality, survival involves a lot of hope. And the show has none of that anymore. It’s just miserable and not in an honorable or creative way.
You can’t go from saying Bellamy and Clarke are the heart of the show to killing him and pretty much destroying Clarke’s character.
And Madi???? That’s all Clarke had left. Madi’s character was completely butchered.
In what way did any of the writers think that this season would be good? Or that the plot of the end of 5-7 made any sense or stayed true to the characters?
I’m so disappointed and sad. Kudos to the actors for still acting the shit out of all of it even though they must be so confused as to who their characters are anymore.
I’m just going to pretend seasons 1-5 are it. Even though season five felt like the end of Clarke and Bellamy’s connection. But atleast it had SOME merit. Like the show had so much going for it and so much potential?????? It just made sense for Clarke and Bellamy to continue surviving- TOGETHER. that was the whole root of the Show!!!!
Sorry for the rant, I’m just so disheartened and confused as to how we got here.
Monty would not stand for any of this shit!! And by shit I mean the whole of season 7!!
I hadn’t been sure if I was going to participate tonight but the ever wonderful @carrieeve tagged me in hers and I said fuck it! This is BELLARKE selfie fam night, which just like Bellamy, means it’s ours!!
I hope you’re all taking care of yourself in the aftermath of everything, whether that’s completely removing the show from your life, taking comfort in fluff, or letting it all out in some angst. I’ve accidentally fallen into a new oneshot which will definitely be one of my fluffier ones before I head back to the hurt/comfort fics I’ve been working on! Don’t worry though, all happy endings over here. Side note: I’m going to keep plugging along in this fandom and my blog will remain multi-fandom as always!
I’ve also been blown away by being nominated for four (4??) fics for the Bellarke fic awards!!! I feel very much in my own little bubble sometimes and I’m so moved by people nominating me. Especially the world building one omg you get a million virtual hugs if that was you. If you’ve somehow missed all of those posts so far, they’ve been a great resource for me to build up my marked for later list and just completely lose myself in Bellarke. This fandom, while a rollercoaster of its own, continually puts out so much amazing content and I’m honored to be able to be a part of it and enjoy it. You’re all stars!
I don’t have much else so please stay kind to yourself as you process this in the way that works best for YOU and know that I love y’all! 🖤
I’m using my usual tag list but if you would like to be removed for this last stretch of episodes after what happened, please let me know and I’d be more than happy to make sure to update it!

Your fight is over.
Honestly for me after season four it was just different. I liked season five, it was super interesting but it just felt like all the characters were different, that’s the thing i don’t like about time jumps
i absolutely agree... it felt like most of them were so weirdly out of character it was kinda hard to bond with them again. and it wasn’t like “hey it’s been five years we’ve reflected and grown” but “hey we’re completely different now not because of time just because it shakes things up.”
This is where they actually end up. Let’ just forget about whatever happened in THAT episode, yeah?
