Just fucking do it
you are making more progress than you think you are

Came across this little gem tonight (from exactly 3 years ago) š & I wanted to share with you guys!
Not that I was ever really overweight, but it bothers me when people downplay other peopleās progress and say things like, āyeah well you were never fat.ā or āyeah well you didnāt have an eating disorder.ā or something along those lines, as if that person who worked hard for what they achieved isnāt worthy of it because it wasnāt as āhardā as someone elseās struggle. Everyoneās progress is equally as meaningful because itās unique to them!! True, I never had a lot of weight to lose, but the difference between those two pictures is way more than just the number on the scale. In fact, I weighed 100lbs on the left, and I currently weigh 112lbs. š¤š¤
I remember not having a damn CLUE about fitness or anything involving weightlifting. Ironically, I started my journey with running (lol you all know how much I hate running). I educated myself on anything and everything I could - especially nutrition, and I set goals for myself. Over the last three years, I truly feel like I have transformed so much both physically and mentally. While my journey isnāt comparable to someone whoās lost 100lbs, or recovering from bulimia.. thatās one thing Iāve learned throughout this whole process: your journey is no oneās but your own. Try not to compare yourself to others, and be proud of what you have accomplished.
This wasnāt achieved overnight by weight loss teas, fat burners, or āmagical wrapsā. š š¼ This was achieved with hard work, discipline, flexible dietingššššš©šŖš¦, and a whole lot of ups and downs!
letās all take a minute and appreciate the fact that stacie tovar is a real live human being gracing earth with her presence.
