why make an abuser such as Megatron a father as if he wouldn't be a horrible father??? and to starscream no less who has been a main victim to Megatron torture and abuse.

(I'm genuinely wondering, English isn't my first language and I'm autistic, so apologies)

The main reason I made them father and son was because I simply see their interactions AS father and son. I don’t really see them as anything else.

Also, writing them in a complicated father and son relationship just means more to others and me. I don’t think every parental relationship has to be perfect, I’ve more or less have seen more parental relationships that I depict in my comics irl. Idk, how to explain why I depict them the way I do, but I have to- it’s the only way I see them.

My comics are reminiscent of the movie Smoke Signals (and a little bit of Blood on the Tracks and Precious), telling a tale of not knowing when to love or hate your parents, when to love or ignore your parents, or even when you should forgive your parents…

How else am I supposed to explain that I want to depict this because it means so much to me?

And despite the abuse, I like to think this is the only universe they truly love each other, as I’ve said before- I much prefer familial love over romantical- and loving someone while also hating the ground they walk on is only something I see a child feeling for a parent cause your suppose to love them and they are supposed to love you, but along the way it got complicated…

4. The era of peace (with the mirnoah and starrod kids)
