I’ve been really enjoying making these colored sketches lately, and today the spotlight is on Nomu Neito 𓏲ּ𝄢𓅓。
The idea and design for this concept belong entirely to the brilliant @canofpepsiwithoutpepsi. For me, this artist is one of the main inspirations in the Monoshin fandom" (definitely in my personal top). Scrolling through their art at the end of a hard day is my favorite kind of "cozy" therapy. There’s something so warm and familiar in their style, whether it’s sweet fluff or a creepy Nomu image. I couldn't resist sketching my own take on this design

In her class, she's the balance that most people need: her admirable resilience despite her struggles and her confident smile that reminds everyone of a hero.
Miemu has a lot of pride and almost considered arrogance the way she carries herself. She's gained immense trust from her family and high expectations she pushed upon herself, which she confessed was one of the reasons why she became so disheartened and burnt out from her dreams of being a hero, despite her desirable quirk. Nonetheless, she stood up again and continued to chase after her dream later than the others, yet didn't fall behind.
As prideful as she is, she's almost fearful of displaying any signs of sentiment or vulnerability, due to how her family had always trusted her independence as she did with herself. This trust became a double-edged sword that brings both pros and cons into her life. Later on in her sophomore year, she started opening up, expressing her own emotions, admitting to her weaknesses, and reflecting on herself more.
Abilities
Overall abilities: Miemu's seen to avoid hands-on combat initially due to her limited physique and only relies on her Quirk to produce catalyst/far distance weapons or offense. However, while undergoing the training with her family, who were known to be Sidekicks and Pro Heroes, she developed her own style of combat. She admitted in her separate assessment to the Hero Course to her weakness, hands-on combat, but used her newfound calmness and hyperfocus to manifest multiple items at once. From her own strength analytics, she jotted down what she needed to improve, trained her focus and sharpness, as well as her physique and endurance.
It takes a Master of All Trades to skillfully wield anything she makes. She can move using different equipment and attack or defend with different equipment, varying from close combat to far combat. She's always been very flexible and accurate with her equipment usage.
Acrobatic skills: Miemu was a hobbyist since birth, doing whatever she liked and benefited her. In secret, she discovered a secret while gaming her stress away: If she treats everything like a game simulation with a character wielding multiple pieces of equipment at once, all of that equipment will manifest with her. Instead of trying to replay the structure in her brain to maintain the manifestation form, she turns to memorize it readily to activate it whenever she needs to, and instead focuses on simulating her "game vision". E.G. If her head has a character flying midair using a rocket device while shooting a gun, both of such items will be manifested.
She also creates her own mixed concepts with multiple uses with the help of people such as Hatsume Mei to prevent the need to hyperfocus on multiple items, as it takes a lot of her brain power away. Compared to Momo's quirk: Creation, hers is much more complicated, tiring, and ephemeral. On the flip side, she can manifest living beings and concepts that Momo can not.
Her quirk was limited to summoning items in her hands that require equipping later; however, she's trained herself to manifest items at exact locations within a 500-meter radius from her.

Frenzy: Miemu summons a wave of fictional beings or one giant being from any book she picks up, or her own designed living concept; however, as it was incomplete, she tries not to use it. Due to the copycat nature, Miemu can only replicate up to a maximum 90% of these beings' accurate strength.
Illusion: When the manifestation state is quick and fleeting, it dissipates quickly and creates a phantom like quickly. Miemu learns to exploit this nature of her quirk to make an illusory field to deceive her opponents, depending on what she's manifesting and its duration.

Spider web: Inspired by the original Comic, she and her friend Mei Hatsume helped her design a mobile wrist device that shoots out a spider web like that of the old hero. With much experimenting, they ended up with her mobile Spider wrist device that helps her shoot her way around, aiding her mobility in combat and reducing her extra quirk drainage.
Helmet/Pointer: As her quirk requires immense focus, she protects her head and nape at all costs to avoid physical shock. The pointer has similar functions to those of Kaminari's, with a radio and heartbeat tracking system. Under her jacket hides a shock inducer device that will send shockwaves on the pointer's command to her brain in the worst case of her losing consciousness.
Switchable shoes: Her shoes look very ordinary; however, it was modified to switch to rollerblades and ice skates for many conditions. As she mentioned, her quirk requires lots of mobility, and when she manifests something, it doesn't fall into place; she has to equip it herself. If she were to manifest such equipment, it'd take a moment to put them on, which is why she had them equipped already.

The accurate name would be more of Matter Transmutation. But there are benefits to having an inaccurate quirk name in today's (mha's) society
Era's gloves: she doesn't really need them. theyre mostly there for her piece of mind and in case of any accidents.
if two separate things made from the same material touch, she can transmute both things. they just need contact and be made from the same material aka have the same make up
thinking about making her 'hero costume' out of a material that allows her to bypass the skin contact requirements or something. like she can be covered head to toe but still be able to touch and transmute things through her clothes. but i dont know how viable that is
she can technically not transmute the entire material, it is possible to say, stop the transmutationo halfway but it is incredibly difficult to be precise with it. she's been practicing precise shapes like walls and spheres ever since her quirk came in and she's only kind of got the hang of it at 16
she's only so proficient at her quirk because 1. she's technically classified as a genius and also enjoys studying the subjects needed to proper work her quirk and 2. she grew up extremely privilieged with all the recources she could ever need
overuse causes migraines and exhaustion, though she has pretty good endurance and stamina having been made and trained up pretty well and all. not to mention she manages her usage pretty well
the speed of transmutation can be controlled, though it's easier to speed it up than slow it down for her personally. she's gotten quite fast with it, and faster with material's she's more familiar with
in a fight, she could turn things into air 'n stuff. or like turn things into hard durable materials as shields or just transmute air to parry n stuff. im not good at explaining this part. uuhhmm. oh and her quirk's potential can be utilised to the max with someone who can manipulate or create stuff. like, say, todoroki with his ice. he makes a wall of ice, she turns it into something more durable. boom fortress. she can also help with cleaning up said humungous icebergs he makes as well, i suppose
