so today i saw les mis for the last time and i am at once so sad this wonderful show that sincerely changed my life is closing and yet so grateful that i’ve had the great fortune to see les mis numerous times and fall in love with both the show and the cast. from the first time i saw it two years ago, during one of the most stressful points of my life, to today, as i prepare for my senior year of high school, i am so happy les mis has followed me and been a constant sense of comfort. i smile as i reflect on all my happy memories of this show. and though i’ve probably said this a thousand times today, i want to say it again: thank you.

This song written by Joseph Smith is gorgeous and I’m so glad I got to witness Chris McCarrell sing this. His voice is gorgeous. His eyes were glistening.
