my answer: according to some sources, it is possible that PCOS/cysts in ovaries cause adominal pain and discomfort

Then there's other resources that claim that there's been no info found that PCOS causes abdominal pain. That it's caused by something else. Like it's not the PCOS, the endocrine disorder diagnosis related, but rather about cysts in ovaries. But then again ovarian cysts are something many women with PCOS have, so... (all mixed up, but I guess it's all about naming things their way, aka it's the cysts that cause pain, not the PCOS, which is I guess separated from cysts, as cysts are one possible symptom of the endocrine disorder, not the "center" of the diagnosis)

I am 18 years old and was diagnosed last year. My doctors say I have one of the most severe cases they've ever seen. I'm on a list of medication in the highest of dosages. I've struggled with depression and recently diabetes. I'm frequently in pain or fatigued because of all of this. I was diagnosed when I was 16, I'm now 23 and after years of being on and off the pill, I am having the most awful, heavy period. I can't go to work, I can't go out, my girlfriend has no idea what it's like because she is 'normal' and has a period every month, I actually get jealous of her. I also have anxiety which is exacerbated by the PCOS because I worry so much that I'm going to get something horrible. It's in my thoughts constantly, and I'm putting on weight due to the pill. I just don't have the time to keep up with this kind of submission blog, and it was time to admit it. If anyone has the time, I can share/give you the URL, the edit bases etc. So if you have the time, the program and knowledge to make the edits (or if you just prefer to make it into a text post submission blog instead), and wish to have a PCOS related blog, do leave a message, I can share the info needed. Like the font I use and so on.
Other option is that I just make a last ever post when I've made up my mind completely, and let everyone know that I'm done then, so after that anyone who wants can just start their own similar blog without any need to message this blog about it/the takeover.

But… it’s a side-blog, meaning it is linked to my personal blog. And I will not share my password and other personal info with others. So I have not asked anyone.
But I have considered that someone might wanna continue this blog idea. But I just think right now the best way is to just stop posting here, and for someone else to start posting on a “twin” blog. I think this is the best option. I just stop posting, and leave everything here, and just rename the blog to PCOSconfession-DEACTIVATED or something. And someone else makes a new blog, or continues keeping up their PCOS blog that focuses on people sending in their thoughts. There already are some PCOS blogs out there. But one option would be for me to stop blogging here, and slightly change the blog name, and for someone else to create a “new" blog with this blogs current name or a name they prefer.
If anyone is interested in “taking over”, please send a message and let me know.
Another option would be for me to create a separate blog, with separate e-mail address and stuff, and re-post everything in there (but then all the notes and reblogs with other peoples answers would go missing, so I don’t liek this idea), and then give that blog to anyone who wants to “take over”.

I think I'm closing this blog after the currently received and done (and waiting to be posted) confessions are posted. As for certain personal reasons I do not have the time and option to be online and manage this blog very often, and because I broke my own rule that I made when creating this blog - no personal opinions and replies to any posts. But after I made one to a post that asked for a reply, I made another, and another, until I was sharing my personal opinions, and I do not think that is the way to go. I meant this blog to be neutral, and simple. But that idea was supposed to fail from the start anyway I guess. With both me wanting to answer, and share opinions, and with the wide wariety of opinions shared by people sending submissions and replies to submissions. Many different people, many different views and the inevitable "disputes" on certain things/topics that everyone has a different opinion on, and that caused many posts "attacking" other opinions. I do not support attacking other peoples opinions. But I also support everyones voice being heard. But since I cannot do both with this kind of blog, I've had "moral struggles" almost since starting the blog.
So with this blog being mostly inactive anyway for basically the past year, I think (unless I decide to come back once or a few more times in a couple of months) it is time to close this place, as I do not feel I was able to make it teh place I wanted it to be.

Hey, this isn't a PCOS question -- just a blog suggestion. As you get more and more questions, you might want to explore and take advantage of the "schedule post" feature of the tumblr queue. That way the posts get spread out over a longer period of time, and people can get a nice small dose of posts throughout a week instead of a large dump all at once. I really appreciate this blog and the posts, so thank you!

Thank you for your suggestion, and it is a good idea, and I'd do that normally, but...
I'd do that, but as many of you have probably noticed I only come here like once or twice every few months recently, and I post/schedule many posts at once. And then there are posts that require the reply box in the bottom, and only 2 ? posts per 24 hours are allowed on tumblr, so I cannot ever schedule all posts I've made at once. I usually need to come back for day 2 or 3... depending on how many questions with "advice please" are in the inbox. So I never know how many posts I can upload at once before running out of certain post-types. Like right now I managed to post confessions 308 - 327, and I have confessions 328 - 330, plus 2 brand new ones 331-332 waiting to be uploaded tomorrow or so...when I have time, because next post is also a ? one, and I already posted two of those kind. I understand this is frustrating to some, but I'm very specific about the way I do things, and I tend to do things weird way.
Now...I've considered queueing the posts I have made, and then coming to add more posts to the queue the next day(s) but I've decided against it, because recently if I don't get it done right away and posted all at once, I dont seem to get it done at all. So until I completely abandon this place (which I feel is coming soon), I've decided that when I do come online, I post all at once, not queue all at once. If tumblr wouldn't have the post limits, and I could upload everything all at once, I'd do that, but since I cannot, then my OCD-side prevents me from doing that and using the QUEUE & SCHEDULE optons I have always loved on my personal blog.
I understand this is not pretty to see for those who actually follow this blog, but I can't say anything else but sorry for flooding your dashes. I have considered the options, and decided to do it this way a while back. I just never shared this with others on the blog.
So whenever you see a post saying "there are X new confessions in the ask box" AND/OR you see a new confession posted, unfollow for a day or few, because that is the day when once every 2-5 months I am online and posting things.

My husband left me 1 week ago today because my PCOS has made me completely infertile. We've been together for a total of 10 years, married for 3. He promised and reassured me after every appointment that if the results for fertility were negative we would just adopt. Today I found out he is to be a father to another woman's baby. So if he left me a week ago, and she's already two months pregnant... Where does that leave me? Broken.
My comment: sounds like your husband is just the kind of man who cheats and leaves no matter if you have PCOS or not. He cheated, got someone pregnant, and then I guess wanted to make it right by supporting that woman and child. It doesn't sound to me like he cared about you getting left behind - with PCOS or without. I may be wrong or out of line here, but that's what it sound to me like - that he was told he was gonna be a dad, and he made a decision. This sounds more like just another case like that and your PCOS isn't important in this equation and he'd left even if you could have kids easily - he just made his mistake and then tried to correct it his way. As it seems men suddenly feel resposibility if they learn they've created an offspring. But since I do not know the whole story, I am probably making wild guesses.
EDIT: I am not saying he was right, I'm just saying that men like him think they're doing "the right thing". I'm just not a person who goes on calling people jerks without knowing the whole story. And it is possible the other woman didn't know he was married, so she is also "entitled" to have support from the "daddy", and every kid deserves 2 parents, so in situations like this when things like this have alerady happened, there are no easy solutions - someone is gonna suffer anyway, no matter what the man does - sleeping around never ends well, but if that's already happened, then people getting hurt can't be avoided. And in this "man's" case it seems he's just a "jerk" - whether the confession maker had PCOS or not. He would have cheated and left anyway, meaning he'd been a "jerk" no matter how lovely the woman sending the confession is. Men who act like this, act like this no matter how nice their wives are. I just wanted to say I don't believe he left because she has PCOS. I believe he's just a "jerk". And "jerks" like that always become "responsible" when they accidentally get someone pregnant. It's like a textbook example of how they are "good" suddenly, because they don't leave their kid, when they don't consider the other side of the coin - that they're leaving their wives/partners of long time. If this opinion wasn't understood from my original comment, I'm sorry, but this is what I meant, and this is my opinion that's not shared by all I believe. But that does not mean that the man acted correctly. Though his mistake was cheating, and then hurting the person/his wife, who sent in this confession (choosing to hurt her instead of the other woman, when staying faithful would have easily avoided the situation where one of the women has to suffer, and supporting one doesn't make it right that he hurt the other one, so men should learn to keep in in the pants, and if they're not men enough to stay supportive of their women in health AND in sickness, then they should be men enough to admit it, not just go look for "comfort/whatever" elsewhere. Those kind of men are usually not worthy of the ladies they are leaving.)

I found out at 14, I cried everyday because people would point out my blonde chin hairs ( after I bleached them ), they told me they looked cute.. What? What liars, that hurt me more
