simon starting to listen to music, getting into classic and indie, but also some calm rock songs because grace like them, both having dire straits as one of their favorites bands... then he started humming 'angel of mercy' for grace, singing the lyrics against his skin while they hug, calling him 'sweet angel' with the same intonation of the song... they didn't even kiss yet.
