Hi, I'm the author of the young adult fantasy Gilded series (Skyscape) and the PRINCESS & THE PAGE (Scholastic Press). Besides writing, I love traveling, running, and eating dark chocolate. Still waiting for the invention of the lightsaber. The title of this blog comes from J.R.R. Tolkien - "So comes snow after fire, and even dragons have their endings."

I wrote GILDED to inspire my students at @seoul_foreign_school to explore Korean culture while studying the craft of writing. It started out as a story about my life and my student’s lives, living as expats in a beautiful country. When we stepped into the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle, it took my breath away. It’s the most stunning shopping center I’ve ever seen. Only then to exit and be met by the Duomo, which was mind-blowing. We ended the evening at Piz, eating the most delicious pizza, laughing and talking about our adventures beside an ancient church. The imagination sees the invisible and the writer pens it for all to see. ✨✨✨ I began this year with some fierce writing goals. I wasn’t sure how I could manage but I’m excited to say I’m checking them off my list! I have been deep in writing mode since the new year started. I finished writing my screenplay, revised a collaborative MG, and revised a YA. Now I’m working right now on revising another collaborative MG and writing The Immortal Secret for Vella. I’m prepping the release for The Dream Heist’s sequel and brainstorming a new novel. It’s a lot!
