test colors for @sodotrack mural project. - - - - - all in attempts to better understand the color permanence of each base, and maintain consistency across all colors that can be inconsistent when scanned and mixed by the paint companies. The composition calls for 21 even steps, will take 51 gallons to cover the 10 surfaces in the coming week. (at South Downtown, Seattle)

The ease and speed in which he manipulates raw material into line,form, and space is an amazing thing. It's hard to express the amount of respect i hold for him, as the two weeks with @clemensbehr still serves as motivation/inspiration to dive deeper into the uncomfortable space within, to question the constructs that act as the foundation of my work, and to savor the act of making. Temporary Installation : Grena midway grid acrylic on invasive japanese cedar - - - - the residency from within the crater rim. 14 days of walking trails in attempts to learn a place; the battle of endemic vs invasive : a scientific resuscitation of an ecosystem in isolation. With the coming of night, a silence awaited. a time of near pitch black in the space between the suns early setting behind the craters wall, and the moons delayed rise. for an hour or so, I became the only potential light source for kilometers in all directions.
