You know that Mercy swooping in to save Genji from the explosion is cool and all but am I the only one who thinks they practiced that move before? How else was he so confident that she'd take his hand?
I bet back when they first started on the strike team there were a couple of missions where she’d just tackle-swoop him off his feet like “caw-CAW!” And it would freak him out like the first three times but now he can easily distinguish the sound of Mercy’s Valkyrie wings and ready himself for her swoop.
Genji: You’re very… committed with those wings. I’m not used to healers jumping into the fray like that.
Mercy: Well I’m the medic! How else would I heal you?
Genji: *briefly flashes back to Moira taking a long drag on her cigarette before sending out a biotic orb and saying “Fetch.”*
