Grimoire of a Swamp Witch (c) Christowitch 2026
Simple calming chant
Fire, my soul Water, my heart Air, my mind Earth, my body. Peace be with you.

Incantation for June
June Sun, bright and high.
Bless the earth and bless the sky.
Longest days and growing light.
Fill my spirit with your might.
With warmth of heart and clarity of mind.
May opportunities and blessings I find.
What serves me stays, what hinders departs.
Leaving peace within my heart.

Sometimes you just gotta carve their name in a candle, roll the candle through some special seasoning, and let the spirits and the powers that be handle the rest.
to other folk witches: how do you engage in protection magic?
I've never been a heavily warded kind of person. if something is coming my way, I often dream about it, and get told the protective measures to take. if I feel off, I'll divine about it, and react accordingly.
I usually have some type of jewelry that’s blessed to protect and some wards buried around my home. If I feel like something real weird is going on I will draw a return to sender sigil on my wrist and just let it send it back on whom ever is throwing it my way. I’m a big fan of making a protective bubble and just going about my life.
fyi your religious and spiritual practices don't have to make sense to anyone other than you.
im a christopagan, and most people can't wrap their heads around that. how i can pray the rosary and consult saints, and then proceed to light candles and do devotional acts for aphrodite and hestia.
but the thing is, they don't need to understand it. i understand it.
don't let anyone tell you your practice is invalid because they don't understand it. you understand it.
Reminder that sometimes a candle dressed in spell oil is more than enough
why are people soo afraid of seeming desperate. i love desperation and hate detachment. ache more idiot
severely deficient in whatever vitamin makes u a person
The want for more Christian Witch resources but the KNOWLEDGE that most of the Christian Witches are just desperately trying to reconnect with how their ancestors practiced the faith and are mostly doing guess work based on oral traditions and what we can piece together from current cultural practices so most are not even 100% confident in their own practice much less showing others.
(Also, in my opinion, most Christians witches I know base stuff off their heritage which would make my practice, which is Celtic based, waaaayyy different than someone who might be Hispanic or any other heritage. )
Honestly.. folk magic is my go to these days. Especially Appalachian folk magic. Can also find sources under granny magic and granny witchcraft.
get in loser we’re gonna admire moss and mushrooms in the forest
The sea is a temple. The woods are a temple. Your own bedroom is a temple. The world is imbued with the spiritual. Worship is an act, not a place, and it can happen spontaneously, in reaction to the beauty of a moment.
