An update
I have been playing the challenge in my freetime, but I am behind on editing the pictures. I'm hoping to sit down this weekend to edit a bunch of them, so I can set up a queue and keep it going for a little while. We will see how that turns out.
Anyway, for anyone in the U.S., have a wonderful 4th of July and stay safe today.
He just didn't realize how difficult life would be with an active toddler, a newborn, and a stressful fulltime job. Forget about trying to get a promotion. Most days he was so exhausted that he could barely make it to his bed in time before passing out.
Time for a quick family picture to decorate Anya's room with. We will do another one when Ayden is no longer just an object.
Forest wished Bess the best of luck following her dreams, even though he didn't understand Jule's plan of becoming rich. It seemed more like a get rich quick scheme and those rarely worked out in the end, but instead of focusing on that, Forest promised that he would focus on his children instead.
Bess waited for Forest to return from work before having a talk with him, explaining the idea. She stated that she wanted to give her son the best life possible with every opportunity she hadn't gotten. She informed Forest that she would be moving back in with Jules in Evergreen Harbor but would stop by as often as possible to check in on Ayden.
Only a few days after Ayden was born, Jules stopped by once again. He pitched the same business proposal as last time and insisted that he could only do this with Bess' help.
Forest always makes some of the best faces when he gets promoted.
The bassinet appeared in Anya’s room, and she immediately went to check out what was going on. She didn’t seem to want to share Forest’s attention with the new baby and tried to convince her dad that they didn’t have room for Ayden by pointing out her toddler bed was the only one they had.
And it is a baby boy. Welcome Ayden Daily!
After hours of waiting, the doctor never showed up. Even the nurse that had been waiting with us just up and disappeared, so I sent the family home and had Bess go back by herself the second time.
Nancy Landgrab seemed furious that she needed to wait in line behind Bess and Forest. She was giving off “Do you know who I am?” vibes.
I had a hunch as to why she was there based on the symptoms she was showing, and yep, she is expecting another baby. Sorry Nancy, but active labor beats early pregnancy hormones.
Shortly after Jules left, Bess went into labor.
Bess is left with a lot to think about.
