Give — Moonflower Fan Club Shirt.

There is something going on in the DC hardcore scene that I cant or maybe havent noticed what is going on in the West Coast Scene. DC seems to be going through another “revolution summer” with its current crop of bands. Give is one of those bands. Yes they sound like a mix of Swiz meets Circus Lupus with a tang of 90’s alternative mix into it. They are also leading a new wave of bands that have simply hung up their nikes and NYHC influences in exchange for a more progresive sound. 

These shirts were mailed out during the winter of 2012 and I actually got a size Large as oppose to XL. I saw Give play with Red Hare last Friday and they were great. John (singer) came up to me and gave me my size. You have to give a band credit not only to make and mail out shirts but to give them to their fans for free. I know they just recorded a new lp that is going to be out on a bigger label.
