Quick america x reader birthday fluff for 4th of july!! i also had a smut ver in mind so lmk if i should write that too! TW: cuteness overload gn!reader wc: 805 A/N (I know its really short but i really wanted to post something for his birthday, if i have time ill probably re write it.)

Finally, it was his day. Well, every day was his day; he’s America! The number one of the G8! But today was different, his birthday. Two hundred and fifty years young! And spending it with you and his other friends.

You woke up super early, before him so you could make sure he had the most awesome day ever. First, calling all his fellow countries to come over and celebrate.

First, Britain was reluctant to come but confirmed  his attendance, muttering something about “Getting a better gift than that French frog would.” before he hung up.

Next, being France, also going to try and fight Britain again. Mentioning his support for the country only briefly.

China, going on a rant about his youth and then how disrespectful these young countries were today. (You’ll just have to take that as a yes.)

Russia, laughing and giving an ominous answer. At least he got to the point?

And Canada, you couldn't forget his brother. He would be there.

Then the Axis: you called Italy, who called Germany, and Japan. Cheerfully yapping through the phone how they would all be there and that he wouldn't miss it.

Everything was coming together nicely. The only thing left to do was to get him out of the house.

Back into the warmth of your shared bed, you shook him gently, kissing his forehead with a smile.

“Amee!” You sang as he slowly came to. Stirring and reaching out for you. Grumbling something while you started the plan again.

“Happy birthday.” A small mumble before he pulled you closer against his chest. Muttering a small “Thank you, baby..” and about to fall right back to bed. He was so different from you. Flashy and confident with others but soft and needy under your gaze.

“Ame, you have to get up; I need you to do me a favor.. My stomach hurts so bad, will you go get me some medicine?” You knew he couldn't refuse you, no matter how tired he was. Planting a quick kiss to your lips, he rolled out of bed and put on some clothes quickly.

“Mmh’kay..” He huffed and hopped into some jeans and a T-shirt. Not caring about his bedhead or how he didn't even grab his glasses.

Red, white, and blue decor everywhere, a huge multi-layered cake in the middle of the table, and American classics surrounding the main course. Ribbons, tassels, banners. Everything was purely designed for him. Tons of food, lots of drinks. All you could hope was that he and everyone loved it.

Just as planned, everyone started flooding in: the G8, even other countries that tagged along. A lot of people came!

Your phone started to ring; America was on the other line. “Hey, dude, Ive been looking like, everywhere for the medicine you needed, but I couldn’t find it!” He groaned and continued, “Sorry, I hope it cleared by now. I'll be home soon though!” You could feel his cheeriness through the screen. A little laugh leaving you, the medicine brand didn’t even exist. You needed to be quick. gathering everyones attention and getting them quiet. The room was pitch black and cramped.

The door started to creak open, running over to greet your boyfriend. “Babe? Why's it so dark?” He called out with a slightly frightened tone.

You flicked the light on quickly and shouted along with everyone. “Surprise, America!” Grinning ear to ear as he looked so shocked. Hugging you and spun you around. America let you down and went to greet his friends. All of them looked so happy to see him, getting over their differences and celebrating him. It was all so heartwarming.

Each country gave him a little gift and sat with him at the large table you’d set up. Staring at the humongous cake. Tons of bright colors that represented him so well. You lit all of the candles and turned the monstrosity of vanilla layers and frosting toward him. With one big breath, he blew them all out, grinning childishly and all giddy.

He looked to you throughout the crowd, finding your eyes and smiling at you, only you. Appreciation written all over him.

Later into the night, when everyone was drinking and chatting amongst themselves, music playing, lights flickering, he tracked you down. Hugging you from behind and getting you somewhere private.

“Ame-!” You yelped as he tugged you into your room. Sitting with you on the bed.

“This has been like the best birthday ever; I love you.” He swelled with pride, hugging you tight again and smothering your face with kisses. Not stopping even when you had that cute flustered blush on your face and tried to pull him off. All of it only making him want you more.

When he finally did let you breathe, you whispered softly in his ear. “Anything for my hero.”

​It's early, too early. The sun was barely hanging in the sky as Yukio slid out of bed, trotting to the kitchen to make a pot of coffee. Despite the warmth that drove him closer and closer to taking the day off to stay with you, he had a duty to his students. The loss of the heat beside you made you squirm and reach out for nothing.

Slowly waking up to see Yukio staring right back. Blinking the sleep from your eyes while he smiled at your tired face. Cupping your cheek as he explained, “I’ll be leaving for work soon.. Go back to bed, m’kay?”

A soft coo that made you melt even more, pressing a quick kiss to his lips as you sat up. An endearing flush on his cheeks.

“I'm already awake now...” You grumbled with faux anger as he walked toward your shared closet. Slipping off his pajama pants, opening the drawers where his True Cross Academy teacher uniform sat.

“What's the point of getting up so early?  School doesn't start for another two hours!”

You whined and huffed as he turned around, pants in hand, and struggling to put them on and talk at the same time. Hopping a little while, he chuckled.

“It's my job as a teacher to get there before my students and fellow educators. And I forgot to plan today's lesson, so that's partially why too...” An embarrassed, sheepish grin on his face. Hand on the back of his neck. Before he turned around to grab his shirt and the iconic black exorcist cloak.

It wasn't meant to be attractive at all, just his shoulders facing you and his shirt falling to the ground. Back barren to you in all its glory. Freckled and little adorable moles scattered along his skin

You could name every one; hell, you had already traced every mark and engraved it into your memory. Freckles, constellations and stars along his skin, beautiful with every different shape and hue.

Though he’d never see it that way. Always little burdens littered on his body.

You scanned over him, Yukio bending forward a little to look for his shirt. Jumping while you screeched loudly.

He whipped around and panted heavily, “W-what happened?!”

​

“You have a new one!” Scrambling out of bed, you ran over to turn him back around and ran your hand down his back all the way to the mole on his lower back, close to his side and just above his pants waistband.

“What?!” He yelped and gripped the dresser tight. Holding on for dear life as the impact of having another dreadful blemish hit. Teeth gritting together while you were ecstatic. Hugging him tight while he trembled and heaved. Heart rattling against his chest. Finger pressing into the spot that had appeared on him.

As you let go and kneeled down behind him, you noticed the shape. Biting your lip as you tried to stifle your laughter, noticing the shape of his cluster of circles.

“I-is that.. Orion?”

​

“Orion? As in the...”

​

“The constellation, yeah.”

​

The whole room was silent. Except for the meek noises Yukio let out. Leaning against the drawers for full support. As if his legs would give out at any second.

“Ah, Yukio!”

Now fully slumped and falling. From the dresser to his knees and finally, his back. His face pale and ghostly. You got closer, fully ready to give him CPR. But he managed to rasp out a few words. “I don't even get any sun…”

“It's okay, they're just moles!!” You cried and shook him. All you earned was a glare as he sat up, yanked his shirt from the hangers, and put it on with pure rage. He stomped around while he hurried through the room, getting ready for work. You chased after him and tried to calm his anger.

He was too quiet, racing through your home and only stopping at the door to face you.

“I have to leave now. I love you.” His voice broke and cracked pitifully. Pressing a few kisses on your cheek as the door shot open and shut just as quickly.

Everything happened so suddenly, even watching his race to the academy as he pulled out his phone. Probably dialing his doctor again.

At least you could laugh about it and not be whined at now.

While his students started to flood into the classroom, a sense of gloom filled the air.

A boy noticed and asked him what was wrong, only to get his mentor muttering the same word over again at him.

Work always gets hard for people. If you say you never have any trouble doing your job, you either have the easiest, stupidest job on earth, or you're lying. There is no between.

At the very least, days off exist, right? It's some comfort to those low on the food chain. Like yourself. It's sad to think of it that way though. Look on the bright side, it's finally your day off. You could have no breaks. Less than minimum wage pay, etc etc.

So what better way to spend this precious day than doing everything you like to do.

First, wake up from sleep, and then go straight back to bed. Usually in your boyfriend Lied's warm arms but he sadly had to work today. A corporate job that wasn't a good fit for him, but in the meantime, it was good money.

Well your old stuffies were there! A substitute for today. They smell like him and you. You hold the one that smells like him the most. Skin musk and sandalwood. 

Second, you reluctantly awake, getting a little snack and then sitting on the couch. The couch you and he bought when you first rented this apartment. Small, but big enough for the both of you to fit. The ice cream you picked out a few days ago at the convenience store tasted so good. Neapolitan is one of the most amazing ice creams! Its a little childish to eat something not breakfast-like at all for breakfast. But you justified it with those health people on TikTok telling you "There's no such thing as a breakfast food, anything you eat in the morning is breakfast because breakfast is just break-fast!” They were somewhat true, but that's not stopping breakfast foods from being associated with breakfast. 

God that didn't even sound like a word anymore.

Third, you watched a movie or show, maybe a romcom, maybe a drama, whatever seemed right for the day. Maybe a nice, warm comedy. Or, even an anime. Nothing said “Nice day off” better than an anime and some ice cream while cuddled up on your couch. 

Fourth, you finished a few episodes and scrolled on social media. Reading news articles, watching funny cat videos, stupid stuff. 

Hours passed from this routine, there wasn't much else to do anyway. The sun hung low in the sky as time went on. It was getting dark and you needed to do one last thing. A shower, hair getting oily and bothersome, you went and gathered a towel or two. Trotting off to the bathroom to run the water. 

A bath or a shower.. Hmmm…

A warm bath would suffice. The worry of wasting water is gone, today is a treat!

You sit atop the toilet seat, scrolling on your phone while you wait.

The water is loud as it runs, but it's not annoying. Almost calming at this time at night. Your phone goes off. A little chime dedicated to your boyfriend's contact. 

“Hey, I'll be late coming home tonight, work is so needyy. Sorry baby!!” 

You text back a quick reply, letting him know it's fine and you love him. Before standing up again. Slipping off your clothes and letting them drop onto the floor. Hopping into the bath slowly and steadily. 

It's warm, suffocatingly so. Like a blanket draped over you then tucked and tightened by your parents. The loofah, a prized stuffie. Shower products? A night light, another toy, and maybe even a bedtime storybook.

It all feels very comforting. It's quiet, the only sounds are the opening of caps, and sloshing of water. There's something so serene about it all. Another slosh echoes as you raise your leg, running the loofah up and down your skin, all soapy and a little rough against your smoothness. 

Almost sensual, imagining it's not just you in this tub makes it worse. What if Lied was right behind you, right now. Washing your back, playing with your hair, touching you? Hot breath fanning over yo- stop. This is a nice relaxing bath. Nothing more nothing less.

But.. You’re all alone.. No one can hear you or see you right now. Why not indulge? Hmm? The devil on your right shoulder coos and persuades you this one time. A hand snaking down between your legs. Sliding up and down yourself. It feels so weird and different in the water.. But a good kind of weird.

Lied is absolutely dying at work. Typing reports out frantically, genuinely about to shed tears. The whole office is pure chaos. Somehow, someway, he sneaks off to the bathroom. Successfully getting a small break from it all. 

He slumps against the toilet, feeling around his pockets for his phone, that is nowhere to be found. Hopefully sitting at his desk where he forgot. He whines and stomps his foot a bit. Angry and bored, and very bored. Lied decides to play a little trick on you. Taking over your hearing for a moment. It's hard because you're so far away but his powers are stronger than when he was a kid in Babyls. 

For a moment everything is silent, and then it's so loud. His ears turned black.

You're moaning, high pitched and breathy, water overflowing onto the floor. Shocked would be an understatement. Lied was trembling, imagining you in what seems to be the bath, touching yourself. And.. at the thought of him?!

Your little cries, “Lied” over and over. Blood racing toward the rising bulge of his pants. You have no idea how badly you affect him, and this? Tenfold. 

You don't even notice, lost in how good you feel, imagining him there with you, touching you himself. It's so surreal. Now, you'd be lying if you said you didn't feel a little bad for doing this, but that's your boyfriend.. And he'd never know right?
