EDA’S APPLE PIE

I made a new Charr the other day. His name’s Marrow Grimbone, elemental demolitions expert in the Grim Warband. He’s bigger than a bear, with horns like motorbike handlebars, and a face that would make even the cubs of Tribune Brimstone cry, yet he’s been dubbed a “professional shit”. Laughter is his second language, and being a free spirit is not always conducive towards the strict life or a warband. Luckily, since he’s only lv 6, I don’t have to worry about that kind of combat for him yet. Just spider-squishing in Queensdale.

Since the massive update, there’s been quite a few changes in not only Queensdale, but all the 1-15 areas. Edited quests, new events, and tutorials that pop up with alarming fervor and sparkles. The dodge-roll lesson seems straight-forward yet every time I get whacked on my roll out. Another change is the collection achievement. You can now get rewarded for collecting junk items, even claim the title of “honorary skrit” if you hoard enough of it (I like to call myself “the trash lord”), but you can also collect spoons, jars, books, and weapon sets. One of the simple spoons to locate is sold by Eda is Queensdale, who watches vigilant over her apple orchard south of the quarry. She sells them as a karma merchant. Marrow reached there today, and spent quite some time curb-stomping trees to relieve them of their apples.

If you complete that event, you can actually buy pie AND spoons from Eda!

Speaking of pie, let’s get down to business. It’s fall in the northern hemisphere, so we’re drowning in apples here in Missouri. We spent a day baking, and ended up with about 6 apples pies that we froze a few weeks ago. I just made another specially for you guys.

Norn female hairstyles concepts + based from in game faces

Im not the best people artist I know, but I want some Norn hairstyles

First one is a less common face used in Gw2

Second is a rugged older Norn face

Third I think is based from the model Doutzen Kroes

Fourth is the most popular & common Norn face you will see in Gw2, I guess it’s oddly shaped nose that makes it popular? Not sure since it’s my least favorite.

"Plaza of Melandru" cake by Karien’s Kitchen

This Plaza of Melandru cake was made primarily of white modelling chocolate. The cake itself was a chocolate/caramel marble, filled with dark choc ganache and dulce du leche. The cake was a 2 tier gravity defying design supported by a white chocolate column with tiny vines and leaves handpainted on it. 

I make cakes in my local area in Australia, and my husband and I are big Guild Wars 2 players. We have many local friends who also play, and I made this cake for the birthday of 2 guild members.

The Guardian of Tyria

Custom 4″ Kidrobot Munny.

I think this is my favorite GW2 custom so far. In-game, it’s not the most outstanding or super flashy armor set, but after looking at it closely, I was surprised to see just how much detail was in it, especially on the helmet.

Design based on the Human cultural Tier 3 heavy armor and the legendary weapon Twilight from Arenanet’s Guild Wars 2.
